The Data Selections and Reporting Officer will work with teams across ARUK to deliver accurate data selections and segmentations for ARUK’s communications.  This includes ensuring data selections are scheduled, developed, tested and checked, and delivered in accordance with the agreed briefs and deadlines.

This is an exciting time to join ARUK as we have launched Salesforce and use the Snowflake Data Cloud to develop our selections in.  We have bold plans for growth at ARUK and this role will have a key role in this as we seek to increase the sophistication of our marketing activity and deliver an excellent supporter experience.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

· Aid in the scheduling and delivery of data selections through the Selections Calendar to ensure clarity on what data selections are upcoming, managing any potential clashes and planning and prioritizing workload

· Produce data selections and segmentations in an accurate and timely fashion, in accordance with agreed data selection briefs and deadlines

· Work with the Data Selections Manager to proactively identify ideas and opportunities to continuously improve campaign performance and to ensure testing within data selections is valid and robust

· Work with stakeholders to ensure data selection briefs are completed correctly, definitions are clarified, and the final selection meets the criteria outlined in the brief

· Adhere to a rigorous data selection process that guarantees the accurate delivery of selections

· Ensure the database is kept up to date with communications history and marketing coding as part of the data selection process

· Support teams in the delivery of end of campaign reporting, post-campaign analysis and the running of regular reports

· Work with Fundraising Teams, Digital Team and external agencies to ensure data selection file formats are delivered to specification

· Provide training and assistance to stakeholders to follow the data selection process

· Support the process of the annual planning of communication activity across fundraising teams

· Work with the wider Data and Analytics teams to ensure the necessary data is being captured to enable campaign analysis to be conducted

· Continually seek to improve the data selection process with the aim of automating and streamlining to reduce the risk of errors and inaccuracy in selections

· Other data services tasks from time to time as identified by the Data Selections Manager

 

What we are looking for:

· Experience of using large relational databases and analysis packages

· Experience of building complex queries and producing data selections from a database package or through SQL querying

· A good working knowledge of SQL

· Good knowledge of data protection legislation and its application

· Enthusiastic and positive approach to stakeholder management

· Advanced Excel skills

· Proven ability to work to a high standard and with an eye for detail

· Able to work on own initiative and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

The service brings together the expertise of local primary, secondary and voluntary sector mental health care providers with the aim of providing flexible, holistic and integrated services for adults with mental health problems.

The integrated team provides brief intervention support to people with mental health problems within a primary care and community mental health setting, helping people develop their independence, self-management skills and achieve their recovery goals.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Senior Peer Support Coordinator to support the development and lead on the delivery of mental health peer support in the Bromley Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub. Background

Chapter One is a dynamic, growing charity with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills needed to thrive. Our mission is to close the reading gap by providing children with one-to-one support at the time they need it most. We work in eleven areas/regions of the UK and will support 3250 children in 2024-25.

Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme pairs struggling five to seven-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who are working professionals. The volunteer ask is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.

From a school perspective, online reading volunteers provide direct, meaningful literacy support for up to 10 pupils per class. The programme is particularly suitable for communities where it might be challenging to find parents and other volunteers who can commit to physically visiting schools to boost reading.

Job Summary

Chapter One is seeking a Manchester Programme Manager who is an excellent communicator and is able both to motivate and support schools and teachers to implement our online reading volunteers programme, and also to ensure that the programme’s impact and benefit to children facing disadvantage communities is maximised throughout the academic year.

The post is ideal for someone looking for part-time, flexible, term-time only work from a home base, but who is also able to travel frequently around the Greater Manchester area to visit schools.The postholder will be joining a team of established Programme Managers (also part-time) who work in different parts of the UK and will need to have some flexibility to work additional hours during busy autumn months, and conversely to work fewer hours during quieter periods of the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively explain Chapter One’s online reading volunteer programme and its benefits to school leaders and teachers

• Install, setup and maintain Chapter One equipment in participating classrooms

• Fully understand the operation of the Chapter One platform and database and communicate this to others

• Organise and conduct initial teacher training and follow-up

• Ensure a smooth initial launch of Chapter One’s programme in every classroom

• Liaise with colleagues performing technical and volunteer support roles

• Through regular visits to/contact with schools, provide on-going embedded professional learning and support to teachers throughout the year as needed

• Proactively monitor classroom adherence/fidelity to the Chapter One model, including systematic review of data reports and volunteer feedback, taking proactive action to resolve problems that arise

• Analyse and manipulate data (largely in Google sheets) to produce reports and identify trends

• Create regular data summaries for all participating classrooms

• Lead annual review meetings for senior leadership at participating schools

• Support programme monitoring, evaluation and research as required

• Coordinate in person and virtual school ‘visits’ of volunteer teams to classrooms where necessary. This may include opportunities for Chapter One children to visit the office of the volunteers.

• Liaison with corporate partners as required

• Weekly communication and status updates with Senior Programme Manager(s) and wider team

• As a new school year approaches, secure commitments from returning schools and find and target new schools to join Chapter One’s programme

We are seeking a Corporate Partnerships Manager – New Business to join our high performing Corporate Partnerships team.

Over recent years, St Mungo’s has seen significant growth in corporate partnerships. We are proud to have a number of long-term relationships with companies from a range of sectors including, Bloomberg, Taylor Wimpey and The Deposit Protection Scheme who share our commitment to ending homelessness and rebuilding lives. Reporting to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager this role will be responsible for leading the new business team and adopting a strategic approach to new business across the corporate partnerships and wider fundraising team.

The role of Corporate Partnerships Manager – New Business, offers a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth, with support to develop your skills and make a real impact on the lives of people we exist to support. In this role, you will:

• Lead and oversee new business activity (strategic, COTY, commercial and brand partnerships)
• Develop relationships with prospective partners from proactive outreach
• Develop high quality pitches and proposals to secure partnerships
• Use a relationship led approach to build the new business pipeline, maximising potential for high-value, strategic, multi-year, multi-faceted partnerships
• Develop and implement resources and processes for new partnership opportunities
• Ensure St Mungo’s strategic priorities are addressed through our partnerships and that the brand is protected and appropriately valued

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our head office in Tower Hill, London. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s locations.

About you

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience.

• Proven eexperience of securing new multi-year, high value partnerships, as well as brand and commercial partnerships.
• Demonstrable experience of negotiating, influencing and creating partnership agreements.
• Experience of leading, motivating and managing people to achieve team and organisation objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office and databases such as Raiser’s Edge.

Walthamstow Wetlands is our flagship visitor centre and welcomes over 500,000 visitors a year, which provides us with an unparalleled opportunity to engage and inspire people from across London to learn more about wildlife and champion nature. The visitor centre has a café, gift shop, education room, art exhibition space and regularly hosts public and private events. The busy nature of the site means a strong, operational presence is required to keep daily activities running efficiently and troubleshooting any logistical challenges.
 
Role & Responsibilities
 
As our Visitor Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall visitor experience and operational management of Walthamstow Wetlands, as a nature reserve and visitor attraction. Leading on buildings and facilities management, ensuring H&S compliance, overseeing external contractors, and supporting with a range of site activities to ensure an excellent visitor experience for all.
 
You’ll work closely with the multi-disciplinary teams based on site at Walthamstow; Café, Events, Retail, Learning & Engagement and Nature Recovery. As well as liaising with the Trust’s central teams, including; Marketing & Communications, Finance, People & Organisational Development. You’ll also act as the Trust’s representative for the external partnership with landowner; Thames Water and contract manager; Waltham Forest Council.

• Coordinate staffing rotas to ensure 7-day operational coverage at Walthamstow Wetlands, including sessional and site-based staff.
• Lead the delivery of the management contract with Waltham Forest Council, including regular reporting on KPIs and progress.
• Manage the site budget, monitoring income and expenditure in line with agreed forecasts.
• Act as the main point of contact for external stakeholders, fostering partnerships with local authorities, community groups and businesses.
• Oversee health, safety and security on-site, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and legal requirements through drills, audits, and maintenance coordination.
• Chair weekly operations meetings and manage internal communications on site activity, including the weekly 'What’s On' update.
• Support the operational delivery of public and private events, assisting with logistics such as set-up, guest management, and suppliers.
• Maintain a high-quality visitor experience by ensuring clean, accessible spaces, up-to-date signage, and engaging exhibitions and interpretation materials.
• Work with nature conservation teams to support habitat management, statutory site conditions, and the Green Flag Award process.
• Provide effective line management, including 1:1s, appraisals, wellbeing support, and development planning in collaboration with the People & Organisational Development team.

Previous experience is not necessary, but a good level of numeracy and literacy will be required as will an understanding of the issues that affect our client group.
