We seek a dynamic leader with excellent interpersonal skills to join our team as Head of Partnerships and Placements on a 12 month fixed-term contract basis. The ideal candidate must excel in building and sustaining partnerships, managing strategic projects, and leading a team to achieve significant results.
You will be allocating 500 placements for Approach Social Work participants and recruiting leaders for and sell other Frontline programmes or services. This is directly linked to achieving Frontline’s organisational objective of having 4,000 impactful Fellows by 2025, who will create social change for children without a safe or stable home.

A little bit about you
The ideal candidate will be an experienced account management and sales professional, skilled in setting and achieving demanding sales targets. We are looking for someone with a strong track record in managing complex projects, leveraging external stakeholder relationships, and and balancing different needs. With excellent people management skills, you will balance support and challenge, and be adept at using data and CRM systems to manage relationships and generate insights.
We have a fast-moving culture within the team and organisation, so we’re looking for someone who is who is well organised, details-focused and can use their initiative to do what works. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with people and be willing to learn. Hounslow Young People is Supported Accommodation Service for young people and young parents aged 16-25 in Hounslow. The Service encompasses a mix of units across six sites supporting 57 vulnerable young people and 19 teen parents.
The aim of the service is to empower Young People to move towards independent living, supporting their successful transition from childhood; laying the foundations for healthy, ambitious, and safe adult lives with minimal ongoing support. Support is delivered in partnership with a number of stakeholders and partners in the community such as mental health services; substance misuses agencies, housing teams, police and social services.
We are recruiting for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our dynamic service and team. In the role of Waking Night Support Worker; individuals will ensure continues support is provided to young people at the standards of day staff with particular focus on safety of vulnerable young people.
About the Role
Waking Night Support Worker will work in line with person centred risk assessments; support plans and liaises with Support Workers to provide comprehensive handover and partnership working. They will be observant of changes in behaviour and presentations ensuring appropriate actions are taken to document and report changes in support needs of young people.
Waking Night Support Worker will be able to carry out all necessary health and safety actions including light cleaning tasks and work with in policies and procedures. Furthermore they will actively seek out ways to work with the team and stakeholders to improve the experience of young people in the service.
The role requires some flexibility as the post holder will be required to work on a rota pattern including weekend shifts. The shift hours are 21:30 - 07:30.

What you'll do:
Ensure the welfare of customers providing emotional and practical support to customers who are in distress, in crisis or require medical assistance such as emergency first aid or the intervention of medical professionals
Remain calm and professional when dealing with emergencies and incidents following the reporting procedures and completing the required paperwork
Ability to work empathically and compassionately with customers who present with complex needs such as mental health, substance misuse, safeguarding and physical health support needs
Ensure the safety and welfare of customers by implementing and monitoring the visitors' procedure, preventing unauthorised access to the service
Conduct health and safety checks and patrols around the building and exterior reporting repairs and any Health and Safety issues
To undertake patrols and security checks of the building and exterior, monitoring CCTV, addressing any antisocial behaviour and completing the relevant reports
Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support and actions

Tower Hamlets Domestic Abuse Service is a refuge that provides short-term accommodation for 15 women and their children with a range of support needs, who are at risk of or fleeing domestic abuse.
You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating families' move-on pathway from the refuge into independent living. The post holder will be responsible for sourcing accommodation in the private rented sector - liaising with landlords and sourcing new move on routes for families. You will directly support customers to move into their new accommodation and ensure support staff are fully equipped to inform customers about the move on process. The post-holder will also a central contact point for local authority housing departments.

What you'll do:
Develop links with private sector landlords and estate agents in order to source private rented stock and promote Look Ahead as a partner organisation
Work in partnership with local authorities' move on co-ordinators, creating innovative schemes to support long stayers in accommodation
Attend and support customers to complete all relevant documentation for housing placement meetings
Develop and maintain an information resource to support the team in the resettlement of customers and their children. This will include (but not limited to) Local Housing Allowance Rates, Partner Landlord and Estate Agency details and Rent Deposit Schemes
Act as the main point of contact for information and resources on the private rented sector
Support a caseload of families to ensure they move on within their licence agreement timeline
Provide a support service to new families who move in including assisting them to access welfare benefits and loans/grants available from the Department of Work and Pensions

About the Role:
As a Hospital Independent Domestic Violence Advisor you will be supporting victims of domestic abuse. This is a key role at the hospitals working alongside the safeguarding team to ensure that victims of domestic abuse have access to appropriate support. As an IDVA you will be:
- Providing a high quality support & advocacy service to victims of domestic abuse
- Managing a caseload; identifying and assessing risks and needs, providing a tailored crisis intervention service through individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional & practical support
- Advocating on behalf of service users to help them access services to keep them safe
- Working within a multi-agency framework to offer a coordinated response to domestic abuse
- Delivering training to hospital staff & local partner agencies
You will need:
- Knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic abuse
- An understanding of domestic abuse & it's impact
- Knowledge of risk assessment, safety planning & risk management
- Understand safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
- Experience of direct service delivery to vulnerable people
- Good communication, negotiation and advocacy skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals
- Strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations.

About the Service
‘Flourish’ is a highly flexible and responsive outreach service developed to meet the needs of refugees and asylum seekers in Hertfordshire. The aim of the service will be to support refugees and asylum seekers in the community with multiple needs who have mental health support as a primary need.
Purpose of Post
- To provide advice, information, onward referral and holistic support to clients with mental ill health.
- Support to build social networks and reduce isolation whilst settling into the Hertfordshire community this includes building a sustainable and empowering peer support network and building confidence and self-esteem.
- To ensure that the safety and wellbeing of the client is monitored and reviewed regularly.
- To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
- Embed a person centred and solution focused approach in all aspects of the role.
- To work in a trauma informed way including awareness of the 6 principles of trauma informed practice, putting the clients emotional and practical needs at the forefront of this work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with all key delivery partners across the system to ensure the service is responsive, inclusive and easy to access.
- To take allocated referrals from any agencies including the Community Navigators, Borough and District Councils, Herts Help, Housing Providers, Herts Welcomes Refugees, the Refugee Council and self-referrals including walk in contacts at any of the Mind wellbeing centres across the county.
- Hold a caseload of clients, supporting for approx. 10 weeks
- To create a safe space for the individual to be able to explore their feelings and improve their understanding around their mental health.
- To complete a holistic needs assessment.
- Ensure all person centred risk assessments and support plans are completed.
- Proactively recognise the indicators of deteriorating mental health and facilitate appropriate action, whilst liaising with relevant agencies.
- Support clients to build their emotional resilience, promoting self-management through building an understanding of their own triggers/coping strategies.
- To provide safeguarding intervention support. This will include responding to problems, which pose an immediate risk.
- To work alongside translators when required to provide a robust package of support for clients.
- To accompany clients to initial visits and appointments as necessary in order to ensure the sustained use of existing support services in the Borough.
- To provide advocacy services to clients experiencing mental ill health.
- To assist clients to access appropriate mental health services, housing/tenancy services and other services according to assessed needs.
- To establish effective pathways across a variety of agencies to maximise and provide effective partnership working, working with other third sector and VCSE organisations to provide signposting and continuity of care.

Support Workers enable people with particular needs to manage their tenancies and live independent lives of their choosing in the community and move towards greater independence by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package. The position is in Tower Hamlets and consists of one high support building with 20 flats and two low support buildings with 20 lower support flats spread over two sites within close proximity.

The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. This role is based at our Lewisham CommUNITY Hub, which is a vibrant and inclusive centre dedicated to promoting health and wellbeing of the local Lewisham community. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Hub Manager to lead and manage our operations, drive engagement, and foster a sense of belonging within the community.
The Health and Wellbeing Team are a passionate group of health professionals who empower people to make lasting changes to their health and wellbeing and improve their quality of life. We put the person at the centre of everything we do, building innovative initiatives that tackle barriers to improving health. Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operations: Ensure smooth operational processes and delivery of services, including sub-let/space hire contracts, lease agreements and facilities management.
- Health and Wellbeing: work in partnership with physical activity, health, and social care and organisations to develop opportunities.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the Hub's impact on health and wellbeing initiatives within the community.
- Team Management: Lead a small team, providing guidance, motivation, and fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with local residents, organisations, and stakeholders to promote the Hub's programmes and services effectively.
- Programme Development: Collaborate with the team to design, plan, and execute a range of health and wellbeing programmes that cater to the diverse needs of the community and meet our strategic aims.
- Service Promotion: Utilise effective strategies to increase participation in hub programmes, hire out the venue, and explore partnership opportunities.
- Budget Management: Oversee the hub's financial resources, ensuring responsible allocation of funds and adherence to budget constraints.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement metrics to evaluate programme effectiveness, monitor service delivery, and make data-driven adjustments as necessary.
- Safeguarding: Maintain awareness of safeguarding principles for vulnerable adults and report concerns. Ensure the physical space is a welcoming and safe environment for all visitors.

Skills and Experience:
- Passionate about improving health and wellbeing, and are driven by the exciting prospect of providing local community services
- Previous experience of working in and/or managing the operation of a successful community hub
- Experience in monitoring and reporting to senior managers and partners
- Experience in safeguarding and health and safety procedures/standards are maintained and followed by all staff and volunteers
- Knowledge and awareness of health and wellbeing themes within the community and experience working with vulnerable people
- Highly motivated, and adaptable to a busy environment where priorities can change quickly
- Solid understanding of hiring facilities, creating bookings e.g. availability, quotes, and Hub visits
- Good communication skills and be the point of contact with key stakeholders such as Landsec and Lewisham Council
- Experience in line management, fundraising and using CRM tools would be desirable but not essential
