CISV International are looking for an experienced administrator to join the Risk Management and Safeguarding team as the Risk Management Support Officer.

The role will focus on supporting the International Risk Management and Safeguarding Lead and the Safeguarding Support Officer to handle the smooth running of the department as well as to help develop the Risk Management provision for our global members.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Leading on Risk Management administration projects
• Being the gatekeeper for the incident case management system, ensuring all reports and evidence are logged appropriately
• Helping to ensure volunteers comply with training requirements and supporting the development of training resources including online training packages
• Analysing data and statistics to assess seasonal performance of programmes and events
• Using standard Microsoft Office software to produce accurate reports and spreadsheets                               

We are looking for someone who is experienced and enthusiastic about joining an exciting, international organisation. You will need to be sensitive to working with people from different cultures all around the world. An understanding of working with volunteers would also be of benefit. As this role will be part of the Risk Management and Safeguarding team there is sometimes the potential to be dealing with very sensitive material involving safeguarding or child protection issues so you will need to be both resilient and adaptable.

The role

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Strategic development and oversight of community programmes for children, adults and across multiple generations

• Leadership and line management of team; oversight of sessional facilitators and contractors used by team

Our Careers Development Managers (CDMs) are the main point of contact for young people on our social mobility programmes. The main focus of the role is the recruitment, development and support of young people into meaningful careers. 

CDMs create recruitment networks in their areas and lead bootcamps to improve their employability (e.g. interview techniques) and to enhance their personal and leadership abilities (e.g. critical thinking). Once young people are hired, CDMs use their established relationship to provide pastoral care and in-work support.

CLAPA supports people affected by cleft to take control of their journey, connect with others, and use their voices to impact the future of care. Our vision is that no one affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom will go through their journey alone.

The Family Services Coordinator is responsible for providing families (parents/carers and children up to ten years) affected by cleft with opportunities to access accurate information, connect with each other and form supportive communities. They will champion CLAPA volunteers and will lead on the development and effective delivery of our volunteering strategy.

About the Role

The Assistant Reserves Officer is one of our team managing and developing the Trust’s nature reserves for people and wildlife.  Your work place includes internationally recognised wetlands and woodlands along with nationally important meadows, chalk grasslands and heathland across Hertfordshire and Middlesex.

You will need to have strong experience in practical habitat management, including the use of power tools and machinery, such as chainsaws, brush cutters and BCS mowers. You will have experience of working within a dynamic team and leading volunteers. You will need to have a keen interest in wildlife and preferably a knowledge of the habitats in our area.

No two days are the same as an ARO at HMWT; you will get the opportunity to utilise and develop your practical habitat management skills across our nature reserves including tree felling, coppicing, scrub clearance, hay cutting and pond/ditch management. You will also undertake the maintenance of site infrastructure; assist with the management of livestock; and perform surveying and monitoring of habitat/species, tree safety and infrastructure. These tasks will be delivered working closely with members of the nature reserves team; our volunteer wardens and our practical conservation volunteers.

Willingness to travel throughout our work area and flexibility to work occasional irregular hours is required for this post.

Responsible for: Leading the food distribution service and quality assurance at Hackney Foodbank’s allocated Food Distribution Centres located across the borough of Hackney. The Role:

We are three and a half years into our current five-year strategy period and we have already exceeded our target of enabling one million young people to start their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award before March 2026. However, with young people facing such a wide range of pressures and challenges, we must not and will not stop there. We will continue to remove the barriers that can prevent young people participating in the award and enable even more young people, communities and employers the opportunity to benefit from all a DofE Award experience can offer.

As a charity, the DofE’s fundraising team plays a crucial role in achieving these outcomes and we are currently looking for a Business Support Manager who will support the fundraising team and their colleagues in the wider Strategy and Engagement team, to hit ambitious growth targets.

The primary focus of your role will be to support the Fundraising Director in leading and supporting a high performing team. This includes assistance with planning, performance monitoring and administrative support to support the effective operational running of the Fundraising department and the Strategy and Engagement team. You will also lead and manage a small (and potentially growing) Business Support team to assist you with this important work.

• Administrative experience including capturing and sharing meeting actions.

• Experience of using HR, CRM or and financial management systems.
• Knowledge of project management principles.

• Knowledge and experience of ICT systems (Microsoft Office) and their practical use in supporting an effective business operation’s.
• Able to make objective decisions and delegate appropriately.
• You will be required to attend the London office once/twice per week.

About the Role 

As Shop Support Manager, you will provide key operational support on defined areas, working alongside the Shop Manager in Teddington to understand the shop, community, and proposition.

Working closely with the Shop Manager, you'll assist in the delivery of the shop's potential. 

You'll play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, helping to embed best practice ways of working and support the Shop Manager in empowering the volunteer team to help drive the shop forward.

The role will also involve the responsibility of day-to-day operations and leadership of the shop to enable the shop's continued success during the Shop Managers absence.

About You 

You will be someone with proven retail skills, who understands the importance of teamwork. 

You'll bring: 

• Retail or charity retail experience
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build & maintain positive working relationships with a variety of people.
• A flexible, positive and resilient attitude, able to work at pace in a fast-moving environment. 
• Results driven approach with experience of working to targets. 
• Experience and confidence using a range of IT platforms including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as systems for the management of other areas (e.g. reporting, volunteer management).

The Senior Volunteering Officer will help us to explore and develop new approaches to volunteering within the NHS. This role is focused on supporting our volunteers that are based within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust services across the North West London Community and to develop new volunteering roles that focus on health challenges within the community.

You’ll provide a high quality experience to volunteers that are located within our community sites, by working with Trust staff and partner organisations to develop new roles that improve the experience to our patients within these clinical services, to identify new locations and roles, to develop our volunteering offer within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

This role will work with the Trust to develop new approaches to volunteering, with a particular focus on designing, launching and evaluating volunteer roles that could bring system change to wider health inequalities.

Additionally, you’ll focus on our volunteer community, ensuring that our volunteer community is as representative of the wider population, and seek to engage groups with a particular focus on the Core20plus5 groups.

Main Tasks:

Provide leadership and support to enable a high quality volunteering experience within Trust Services within the North West London Community

Work in partnership with wider charity teams, to identify areas to link up work around the population health programme of work and identify appropriate volunteering opportunities

Working in partnership with the volunteering team, provide tools and approaches to understand our volunteer community.
