The People's Comedy CIC — one of Britain’s fastest-growing and most exciting comedy brands — is looking for new Directors to join our Board of Directors.
We are seeking individuals with expertise in any of the following areas:
- Marketing and Growth Strategy
- Volunteer Coordination
- Financial Management and Planning
- Film, TV, and Online Content Production
- Bid Writing and Fundraising
- Campaigning and Community Organising
About The People's Comedy
Formed in 2018, The People's Comedy was established to platform comedians with a message — counter-cultural, alternative, original voices — while ensuring they are fairly paid for their craft.
Our approach is distinct: ✔ No headliners — all comedians receive equal stage time
✔ Tens of thousands of pounds raised for grassroots comedians, paid in line with our equal pay structure
