Job description

More than 12,000 unpaid family carers are registered with us for support with their own health and wellbeing. You will be phoning to say Hello to newcomers or check in with others who may be quietly but desperately struggling.

People often feel confused about services or feel shy to "bother" us. They may feel guilty about asking for help for themselves, or simply not have time to reach out for support.

This important role connects carers to us so we can signpost to our services and other sources of support. Your friendly call may encourage them to come to an event or activity in their neighbourhood and connect with other carers. They'll know that we care.
