Unpaid role, expenses paid

Job description

For 25 years, Community Foundation Wales has been working with funders to support charities and community groups and strengthen communities across Wales. Our vision is of a Wales with strong, active communities.

Community Foundation Wales inspires people to give and helps Welsh communities to thrive by changing lives together. We work with donors, community groups and charities across Wales, taking time to understand what each is trying to accomplish and supporting them to do so with impact.

Since 1999, we have awarded over £40m in grants to grassroots community groups and charities across Wales on behalf of our donors. We work with our generous supporters to reach the people most in need and help to create equality and opportunity in the diverse communities of Wales. We are also part of the wider, 47-strong UK Community Foundation network, who, for 30 years, has distributed millions of pounds towards smaller, locally based organisations, and provides vital support to every postcode in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

We have grown over the past 25 years and now have big plans for further development, by encouraging further effective philanthropy among businesses, individuals and organisations within and beyond Wales, so that we can further strengthen the support we give to local communities and charities.
