At St John Ambulance, we are looking to develop our volunteering offer and become an even more integral part of our communities through delivering community first aid and education.
We need people who have a passion for helping others, care about their communities and want to make a difference, supporting them to become safe and more resilient by sharing your first aid skills and knowledge. As a Community First Aider, you’ll deliver first aid to those in need through local events, as well as provide education to the public so that the ripple effect of First Aid grows.
Through supporting the growth of community partnerships, you will bring people along to our cause, growing our membership and fundraising base and spreading the message that First Aid Saves Lives.

This job will be great for a pro-active social media “story teller”, looking to build their own profile by ‘owning’ this new area of Evolve’s work. You’ll need to be creative, organised, and literate, with a very self-motivated approach. A background in PR, marketing, social media or news will be great for this role.
Marketing and Fundraising Specialist or Assistant. Help us to grow our client numbers, improve the service, generate a development fund for new innovations, and get our name in front of sponsors, donors, and other charity project funders. The role and what we are looking for in a new Treasurer
Our Treasurer works closely with the Chair and other trustees, our Administration and Clinical Managers, and leads liaison with the External Examiner for our annual accounts. Although all trustees are equally responsible for our finances, our Treasurer maintains the overview and leads the Board in our discussions of financial matters. Our Board includes people with understanding of our counselling services, and we require all new trustees to have strong empathy with our cause and our delivery.
Although we’d welcome a financial qualification, that’s not a prerequisite, as our finances aren’t too complex. An understanding of how charity finance works would be beneficial, and the ability to clearly communicate our financial information to other trustees is very important. Liaison with the Administration Manager, who deals with the general bookkeeping, maintenance of a statistical database and day-to-day matters, is important. As well as a general understanding of finances and accounts preparation, management of Excel spreadsheets (primarily used for our statistical analysis) is important
We are a charity not a business, but we apply business principles alongside our faith values to govern our organisation. We are looking for fresh expertise and experience from a variety of backgrounds to our charity.
The Board meets quarterly, usually face-to-face at our premises, GU47 8HN, on a mid-week afternoon (this timing can be flexible and can be subject to future discussion/negotiation), for up to three hours.
You will need to dedicate about six hours per month to the role, and more at times such as the preparation of quarterly reports, major grant applications, gift aid submissions, financial year-end and AGM. This includes preparation for and attendance at Board meetings; many of your duties may be carried out online and by phone/video, as well as at face-to-face meetings.
In addition to this regular time commitment, you will need extra time for induction and any training you may need or request.

We Stand - Formally Mosac provide a free National Helpline service to non abusing parents and carers of sexually abused children. We are currently seeking Helpline Volunteers to provide support, information and a listening ear to parents and carers whose children have been sexually abused.
We know a caring, sensitive and non judgemental response can make a real difference to someone seeking support. We are looking for volunteers with good verbal, listening and communication skills, no previous experience on a helpline is required. Trained, experienced staff will always be on hand to provide support and guidance.
Helpline Volunteers will:
- Receive full training prior to the formal induction (8 week training programme) Dates to be confirmed

Attend mandatory supervision meetings fortnightly or monthly to support you in the role.

For volunteers working remotely - attend 30 minute supervision after your shift.

Men Who Talk is a UK registered charity, running twice weekly online peer-to-peer support groups for men aged 18+ across the UK. The groups take place between 7:00pm - 8:30pm every Wednesday evening, and 11:00am - 12:30pm every Saturday morning.
Our groups are supportive spaces for men aged 18+ to come and talk openly about what's on their mind. All groups are free to attend and follow the evidence based model of peer support.
Volunteers are required to be online from 6:45pm to 8:45pm on a Wednesday evening, and from 10:45am - 12:45pm on a Saturday, and are required to facilitate around 1 group per month. Volunteers are asked to commit to an a minimum of 6 months of volunteering in the initial stage.
All groups are facilitated by 2 facilitators, and follow a semi-structured pattern.
We are looking for passionate men with some experience of groups facilitating or working in mental health settings to come join us as facilitators. Experience in using online platforms such as zoom is essential.
A degree in psychology is preferred but not an essential requirement.

Social Anxiety Alliance UK is a young and developing charity looking for an experienced Treasurer with a background in financial management and accounting to continue the charity's development. The Treasurer will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial administration of the charity and will have a good understanding of charity finance. The Treasurer would also need to be willing to be a Trustee and be aware of the governance issues relating to such a role.
Social anxiety involves an excessive fear of social situations. Sufferers will often fear being embarrassed or worry about being negatively evaluated by others. Anticipatory anxiety and situational avoidance are common, and individuals may endure social situations with a high level of discomfort. The scope of the anxiety may be focused on specific types of social situations or generalised to almost any social encounter.
We are the first UK charity dedicated to Social Anxiety.
We are a friendly board and we hold our meetings monthly online in the evening. Getting involved will mean that you can work with us to ensure financial sustainability and to help set the strategic direction for the charity. You will also work with the Board to ensure that the charity operates within regulatory requirements and to develop projects which will help the charity to achieve its mission and goals.
