About us
Who we are
inVOLve Community Services are a charity-business support organisation: we help recruit trustees for other charities, part of being the local support and development organisation for voluntary, community and faith groups in Wokingham Borough, Bracknell Forest and wider. Our work also includes organising and delivering training, offering funding advice, starting-up organisations, recruiting volunteers and providing business development and support.
Our culture and values
We support a broad and inclusive Voluntary Sector in Bracknell Forest and Wokingham Borough, as well as surrounding areas, by encouraging existing and new groups to examine and improve their governance, their inclusion of members of local communities and those often-marginalised.
We welcome feedback on our own performance in order to better serve our communities.
We support our own trustees, employees and volunteers in their wellbeing, as they are the essence of our organisation, which we hope illustrates how we therefore support our the individuals that comprise our communities.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Involve Community Services promotes the wellbeing of all people and works to improve lives in our local communities.
It recognises that every person is an individual with different needs, preferences, and abilities. It aims to reflect this diversity in everything it does, including making its services inclusive and accessible to all people from all sections of the community and attracting and retaining a diverse workforce.
involve believes that harnessing different life experiences, attributes and contributions from staff, volunteers and service users will make involve a more effective and inclusive organisation and a better place to work.
