Volunteer Roles List

Outreach Volunteer 

As an Outreach Volunteer, you will be the friendly face of our organization, connecting directly with service users in the community to gather valuable feedback about their experiences with health and care services. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting surveys and questionnaires to gather feedback.

Engaging in one-on-one interviews to delve deeper into user experiences.

Building rapport and trust with service users to encourage open and honest communication.

Digital Communications Volunteer

• Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media posts for Twitter, Facebook and Instagram

• Design high quality graphics for online and print promotion of our events (ideally using Canva)

• Help us increase our reach by writing engaging copy for our website and social media channels

Research Volunteer

  • You will be working closely with the Social Research Manager to:

  • Support research activities, such as writing information sheets and FAQs, speaking with potential participants and organising fieldwork activities;

  • Support with collecting qualitative and/or quantitative data;

  • Conduct desktop research in preparation for projects;
  • General administrative tasks, including recording findings and taking written notes;
  • Upload data onto electronic databases;
  • Undergo training as required;
  • Protect any confidential information at all times;
  • Participate in meetings as required;
  • Comply with all health and safety and ethics requirements for research activities.
