About Activists Without Borders
Activists Without Borders is a UK-based international advocacy and campaign group dedicated to protecting human and environmental rights, empowering frontline activists, and addressing injustices worldwide.
Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Volunteer Campaigns Manager to lead and coordinate our environmental advocacy campaigns. You will be responsible for developing impactful campaigns, engaging supporters, and ensuring our messaging is visually compelling. Knowledge of Canva is essential to create engaging digital content for campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Strategy & Execution – Develop and manage campaigns on key issues climate action, and wildlife protection.
- Content Creation – Design eye-catching campaign materials (social media graphics, infographics, posters, etc.) using Canva.
- Social Media & Digital Outreach – Plan and schedule campaign posts, working with our digital team to maximise reach and engagement.
- Community Engagement – Mobilise supporters, activists, and partner organisations to take action.
- Advocacy & Partnerships – Collaborate with like-minded organisations to strengthen campaign impact.
- Event Coordination – Assist in organising online and in-person advocacy events, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
- Monitoring & Reporting – Track campaign success, measure engagement, and recommend improvements.
Skills & Experience
- Passion for activism, and environmental justice.
- Experience in campaign planning, advocacy, or community organising.
- Strong skills in Canva for designing campaign materials.
- Social media and digital marketing experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
