Photo Archive Officer
Contract: 6 months fixed term, full time (35 hours per week)

About the Role:
As our experienced and process-oriented Photo Archive Officer you will help manage the flow and curation of photo and film content across WaterAid as we migrate to a new Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
In this role, you will support the transfer of photo and film assets and associated metadata to the new Digital Asset Management system as well as be involved in testing the new system prior to its launch.
You’ll also:
- Maintain day-to-day workflow of the old Asset Management system prior to system migration
- Prepare and upload new photo and film content to the asset management system
- Work with the photo team to curate content so that the best film and photo assets are available to users across WaterAid
- Implement workflows aligned with our Representation in Communications policy.
About You:
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Photo or film archive experience in a relevant sector
- Experience working with digital asset management systems
- Experience of key wordinging and managing large amounts of metadata
- Knowledge of photography formats, workflows and post production processes
Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:
- Experience setting up or migrating to a new digital asset management system
- Knowledge of film formats, workflows and post profuction process
- Working knowledge of Asset Bank and/or Orange Logic

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and inquisitive individual to join our Innovation and Integrated Appeals team as an Integrated Appeals Officer. Your focus will be supporting cross-organisational fundraising appeals, helping to maximise all opportunities for the Society so we can reach our ambitious income targets.

Our client is a grassroots movement working for nature’s recovery and to bring people closer to nature.
They are seeking a Watercress and Winterbournes Communications Officer to join their cause.
The Watercress and Winterbournes Landscape Partnership is a National Lottery Heritage Funded Scheme that focuses on the headwaters of two of the UK’s most iconic chalk rivers, the Test and the Itchen. This is an area of distinctive chalk stream habitats and winterbournes which supports a rich diversity of wildlife.
However, a wide range of factors threaten the character and quality of this chalk stream landscape. Working with a wide range of organisations and individuals, the scheme focuses on improving the resilience of their chalk streams and celebrating their unique qualities through key partnerships and community action. The scheme has been underway now for 4 years and has 16 months remaining.
This role sits within the Watercress and Winterbournes project team and will work closely with the team and with colleagues from across the Trust and the partnership. The post will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering the communications for the whole scheme for our planned activities, ensuring that they are using the best methods to reach the required audiences.
The post will also co-ordinate Scheme events and will directly deliver two key people-engagement projects including:
Hidden Treasure Trails – co-ordination of the delivery of animated wildlife trails and associated interpretation.
Septic Smart project – co-ordination of messaging about septic tanks and their impact on chalk streams to targeted communities.

About the role
This multifaceted role requires the ability to manage, interrogate and evaluate data and compile accurate reports to enable crucial reporting to funders. Living Condition
The position is based in London, Edinburgh or remote and may require some national or international travel.
MCE team members represent the agency both during and outside work hours when deployed in a field posting or on a short term assignment or trip to country offices. Team members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and respect local laws, customs and MC's policies, procedures, and values at all times and in all Mercy Corps locations.
