We are looking for a warm and self-motivated Engagement Officer to lead community and volunteer engagement, and manage our social media platforms at SOFT UK. In this position, you will engage with the existing SOFT UK community, strengthening and deepening this relationship. You will also build new relationships, thus building our community. You will also engage with volunteers, ensuring their volunteer journey is seamless and successful.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and be highly adaptable, happy to facilitate a video call with SOFT UK families in the morning, and then engage with volunteers in the afternoon! They will be self-motivated and confident to work from home.
SOFT UK
The Support Organisation for Trisomy 13 and 18 UK (“SOFT UK”) is a not for profit charitable organisation structured as a charitable trust for the purposes of providing organisational support to those with first-hand experience of Trisomy 13/18 and other related disorders. The Board of Trustees (“the Board”) comprises the legal directors of the Trust.
Main Responsibilities of the post
The Engagement Officer is responsible to the Charity Director for the management of engagement on behalf of SOFT UK, ensuring we are seen as professional, yet warm and welcoming to our service users.
In this role you will manage and maintain our social media strategy with support from our Communications Officer, seeking out new ways to communicate with our community.
These activities include, but are not confined to:
- Strengthening our relationship with current SOFT UK supporters, including families, fundraisers, and charity partners.
- Preparing, organising and facilitating regular video calls with SOFT UK families.
- Building new relationships, thus broadening our reach and impact.
- Engaging with SOFT UK volunteers through various media to ensure their volunteering experience is enjoyable and mutually beneficial.
- Working with the Charity Director and the Communications Officer to collaborate on content and engagement for Trisomy Awareness Month
- Working collaboratively to help organise SOFT UK Family Days.
- Work collaboratively to produce content for our SOFT UK social media channels and Youtube.
- Prepare detailed engagement activity reports.
- Develop our podcast/vlogcast strategy.
- Identify and attend relevant networking events and conferences, virtually and in person.

What you will be doing
This is an exciting role that refreshes the way Hearing Dogs for Deaf People delivers its key community events, both physically and digitally. It has full support from the Executive Leadership Team and respective teams, who are excited and ready to support its development.
The role is responsible for identifying, planning and co-ordinating fundraising and engagement events to support the charity’s mission. These may look like the Christmas Market at our main site, identifying third-party fundraising initiatives and virtual challenges, or leading on the identification and/or development of national events such as The Great British Dog Walk.
You will be supported by a strong team of community fundraisers, a marketing department set up to support the development of community activity, and a services team excited to be a part of its growth. Of course you have the support of our Hearing Dogs too.
As the central hub for event coordination, you will enjoy building strong relationships with supporters, volunteers and local businesses to maximise participation and income generation.
You will be part of the Community Fundraising and Engagement team and will work with the community team, services, and marketing team to develop and deliver the community and engagement strategy.
What you will need to succeed:
- Proven experience in event management, ideally within the charity or community sector
- Strong fundraising knowledge and experience in income generating events and techniques both physical and through digital channels.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.

Summary of role:
· The Fundraising Manager is responsible for raising income for Variety in the Midlands area with a focus on unrestricted income. This entails supporting, managing, and developing a wide range of existing and new contacts, events and charitable activities.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Fundraising and Communications Executive is a new role and will play a pivotal part in advancing our communications and fundraising strategies. As OTR continues to grow, this position will be instrumental in expanding our online presence and ensuring we connect with a broad audience, including young people, families, professionals, and supporters of our mission. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who is both creative and analytical, skilled in producing compelling content and using data to amplify digital impact. This role would suit someone who can take initiative, think proactively, and confidently manage projects independently – qualities that are especially important in our small, dedicated team.
You’ll work on a wide range of projects, creating engaging content that aligns with OTR’s brand and values across our website, social media, and email campaigns. This includes developing multimedia content (including graphics, videos and blogs) to promote our work and highlight our impact in the local community.
From a fundraising perspective, you will help drive our fundraising activities and ensure efficient administration using the newly acquired ‘Donorfy’ database. This includes leading on the stewardship of donors and community fundraisers, managing our fundraising CRM database, and working on small and medium-sized trust and grant applications. You’ll also support digital campaigns and new initiatives, to encourage sustained support for our work. You’ll directly help to secure the financial support needed to expand OTR’s services and reach more beneficiaries. In addition, you’ll analyse the performance of our digital channels – interpreting website analytics, social media metrics, and email campaign results – to provide recommendations that enhance our communications strategies and ensure ongoing impact.

JOB PURPOSE
The Fundraising and Communications Executive will play a key role in implementing OTR’s fundraising and communications strategies. The role involves planning, creating, curating and managing high-quality digital content across our website, social media platforms and email marketing campaigns. Furthermore, you will support key areas of our fundraising strategy, including trust and grant applications, horizon scanning and ensuring excellent fundraising administration across all areas of activity.
This position is instrumental in supporting the Head of Fundraising in developing and strengthening OTR’s income streams and increasing awareness of OTR’s services through effective communications.
Specific role duties
Supporting the fundraising strategy
• Lead on OTR’s donor and community fundraiser stewardship through excellent communication and effective relationship management.
• Lead on the implementation of fundraising communications across channels.
• Responsible for small to medium size trust and grant applications, including horizon scanning
• Support the stewardship of small and medium-sized trusts and foundations including scoping, applications, reporting and funder management.
• Create engaging content and campaigns to drive income generation.
• Help build the small pool of regular donors.
Website and CRM maintenance
• Work with OTR’s Head of Fundraising, the Administration Manager and web developer to maintain, update and enhance the OTR website.
• Monitor website performance, user engagement and SEO trends, suggesting and
implementing improvements to enhance user experience and visibility.
• Lead on ensuring our CRM (Donorfy) is utilised effectively to record, monitor and report on fundraising activity and income.
Social media
• Working with the Head of Fundraising, CEO and Volunteer Coordinator and Business Support Officer, contribute to OTR’s social media presence by creating and scheduling engaging, accessible, and informative content that resonates with our audience and supports OTR’s mission.
• Monitor social media platforms to ensure timely and appropriate responses to comments and messages.
• Identify new opportunities to grow OTR’s social media reach, building awareness of our services, fundraising and outreach work.
• Regularly report on social media performance, using insights to inform future content and strategy.
• Utilise paid ads to support fundraising and training.
Email marketing
• Support the planning, creation, and delivery of OTR’s, soon to be launched, email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, fundraising initiatives and service information and signposting.
• Ensure all email communications are engaging, well-structured, and in line with OTR’s brand and tone of voice.
• Assist in the promotion of key OTR events, such as the Big Charity Bash and annual Great South Run and other special events.
• Manage and grow OTR’s email marketing lists, ensuring they are up to date and GDPR compliant.
• Track and analyse the performance of email campaigns, providing reports and insights to the Head of Fundraising.
Content creation
• Create engaging, accessible, and informative content for OTR’s digital channels, including the website, social media and email marketing.

communication methods and increase engagement.
• Contribute to blogs, news articles and case studies that highlight OTR’s work, impact and achievements in the sector.

Fareham and Gosport Wellbeing service is looking to recruit a PCN Wellbeing Advisor. You will be based in the Wellbeing Centre in Gosport and occasional work base from Costal PCN surgeries. You will work solely with patients living in the Coastal PCN area, this role may on occasion include group facilitation in the Coastal PCN area’s.
In this role you will hold a caseload of patients offering assessments and 1 to 1 telephone or online sessions to help manage mental health wellbeing. You will attend meetings to enable patients to get the best service for them. You will support people to access groups and activities within our wellbeing centre and the community.
Hours: 25.5 hours per week.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a selections expert to join the Supporter Selections Team at Alzheimer’s Society in what is a really exciting time for both the charity and the team. You will be joining the team as we further develop our selections by using insight, both in and post-campaign, plus develop highly relevant and individualised supporter experiences to drive our communications and improve supporter journeys. The successful candidate will play an integral role in helping us achieve this alongside exploring new and improved ways of delivering our selections and supporter journeys, plus enhancing our processes through improvements to our systems.
As a Customer Selections Analyst, you will be responsible for working with teams from across Income & Engagement to ensure the successful delivery of accurate and targeted selections to support warm marketing activity and stewardship, plus the design and production of multi-stage supporter journeys through the use of PeopleStage, our campaign planning and management tool. Your proficiency in managing and prioritising tasks will be invaluable in delivering selections on our agreed Communications Plan, and you will be pivotal in enabling our organisation to communicate with the right supporters, through the right channel, at the right time, in the right way through the systems and tools available to you.
As a trusted expert and a critical friend to Income & Engagement colleagues and stakeholders, you will play a crucial role in deepening understanding of Alzheimer’s Society’s supporters, particularly in relation to their next best action. Through using accessible campaign results, data models and other sources of insight, you will enable colleagues to test hypotheses and pivot campaign comms in order to drive satisfaction, loyalty, and sustainable growth across Alzheimer’s Society’s audiences.

The post holder will work with the Fundraising Manager to work on diversifying the fundraising streams for Carers in Hertfordshire. Main duties

Job Purpose: Fundraising Officer
The Fundraising Officer position is responsible for proactively driving fundraising growth from new and existing supporters (predominantly with individuals and corporate partners) generating the income that will enable our ambitious organisational strategy. The position also plays a significant role in strengthening support through community engagement activities, including with schools, community associations and corporate groups.

Key responsibilities
● To identify and submit applications to potential grant funders who indicate that they offer support for foodbank and community activity.

● You’ll proactively build new fundraising relationships with local community groups, associations and schools in and around Barnsley.

Wheels for Wellbeing is a disability and cycling organisation led by Disabled people. Formed from the belief that cycling is transformational for health, transport and social inclusion, Wheels for Wellbeing champions mobility justice and mobility equity. Established eighteen years ago, the charity seeks to radically change the world of active travel by removing barriers to cycling for Disabled people.Following a recent strategic review of our operations, a three-pillar approach is being adopted by the charity:
Wheels for Life: Continue to operate and promote inclusive cycling hubs at three venues in South London; develop an inclusive cycle hire service and signpost enquiries to recommended partners across London/the UK.
Wheels for Change: Campaigns & policy influencing work to bring about mobility justice for Disabled people, with a particular focus on active travel (walking/wheeling and cycling). Being a thought-leader in this field.
Wheels for Learning: Establishing a UK-wide Training and Consultancy service to speed up the spread of our expert knowledge and to support our financial sustainability strategy. This will also provide volunteering and paid work opportunities for growing numbers of Disabled cyclists.

You will be offering support via a national helpline to families of serving Royal Navy personnel, including Reservists and Merchant Navy, that are seeking support for their mental wellbeing.
