As Purposeful Ventures' Evaluation Manager you will work in a newly forming evaluation team, as part of a larger experienced and growing organisation, alongside inspirational charities and social enterprises to successfully grow and deliver systemic change.
Purposeful Ventures is currently developing a framework to better understand our impact as an organisation and our approach to monitoring and evaluation for our projects and portfolio organisations. This evaluation work is intended to allow us and the organisations we work with to learn, and to support internal accountability and decision-making.
You will have a crucial role in implementing our developing approaches to monitoring and evaluation to better understand and learn about our impact as an organisation and supporting our portfolio organisations to better understand and maximise the difference they make for young people. You will work closely with both internal and external colleagues, using your technical evaluation skills to provide evaluation support to our portfolio organisations, aligned with sector standards and programme maturity, to inform programme design, delivery and communication of impact.
Successful candidates will have demonstrable experience and success in evaluation roles. This may include research roles in a research agency or other settings designing and delivering robust evaluations for funders or the charitable sector.

About the role
We are recruiting for a Training Manager, with an entrepreneurial and ‘can-do’ attitude, to join our small team and lead our UK healthcare professional training offer. This is a customer facing role and you will possess the ability to build and maintain professional relationships quickly, with a range of external clients and subject matter experts. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will approach your work with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring you prioritise and plan your work to meet a variety of deadlines.

Training Programme Lead

About the role:
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled project manager (with sales and engagement experience for the FT role) who will help create, execute and evaluate multi project plans and engagement strategies whilst continuously assessing impact and ROI. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· To project manage all our training and services with effective and clear planning, delivery, evaluation and reporting
· Manage contract development, communications, budget planning, timelines and reporting to clients and SMT

Key Responsibilities:
Programme Facilitation:
- Coordinating Luminary’s twelve month Employability & Independence Training Programme, including facilitating programme sessions, coordinating external facilitators and specialist trainers

- Coordinate and conduct the application process, interviews and onboarding in a trauma informed way, creating the safety survivors need to take a huge step in their recovery by exploring this opportunity with Luminary.
- Promote the programme and liaise with referral agencies to successfully generate enough referrals to fill all trainee spaces available.
- Assist the Senior Programme Manager to develop strategic partnerships with relevant organisations in the charity sector and local government, to market the programme and attract referrals.

- Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete training records, including tracking and monitoring learner progress and development to support high accreditation pass rates and good retention.
- Contribute your experience of best practice to shape the way Luminary operates effectively

Person Profile

You will have experience and a heart for working with vulnerable people, devising and developing creative arts workshops and training sessions, and will be willing to work flexibly with therapeutic intent but outside a clinical framework.
This position is home-based with regular travel within London for workshop, training and meetings (travel costs will be reimbursed). Working hours are flexible throughout the week and can be either part time or full time depending on the candidate (maximum of 30hrs per week).Talitha Arts also provides learning and development opportunities, travel for work within London and 3 extra days at Christmas.

Talitha Arts is creative arts charity that delivers creative arts workshops that benefit the mental health and wellbeing of those who have experienced trauma (through trafficking, living with dementia, domestic and sexual abuse, homelessness) and/or are living with mental health problems, addiction or disability. We are a small team comprising our Artistic Director (Executive), Fundraiser and Therapeutic Consultant. You will be managing 15 self-employed practitioners who work on a freelance basis.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Managing and developing all aspect of Talitha Art’s therapeutic arts workshop programming

Overseeing all programming, coordinating teams and managing Practitioner Coordinators

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic volunteer manager with the skills, confidence and ability to build, maintain and report upon a diverse and committed volunteer cohort to deliver our home and online reading sessions. You will be a passionate advocate for children’s literacy and a creative thinker, able to spot and develop opportunities for engagement in local communities and with corporate partners.
An excellent communicator verbally and in writing, you will be able to tell the Doorstep Library story to a wide variety of audiences and promote the benefits of volunteering with us. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
STRATEGIC
· Work under the guidance of the Head of Delivery & Engagement to design, implement and be responsible for the Volunteering Strategy - to recruit, train and retain enough volunteers to meet our delivery targets and grow our services
· Collaborate with the Service Delivery Manager and the Marketing & Communications Manager to identify delivery gaps across boroughs and create targeted recruitment campaigns
· Work with the Fundraising team to develop and manage corporate volunteering from/with income partnerships
· Research and reach out to community events/groups to raise awareness about Doorstep Library in the areas we operate in
· Manage the Volunteer Committee – coordinating and enlisting volunteer involvement as required, delivering outcomes

DELIVERY

· Manage the successful and timely completion of the volunteer onboarding process, including- interviews, DBS checks, references and liaising effectively with the delivery team on volunteer trials and appropriate placement across our projects
· Create, deliver and systematically review volunteer training (initial and refresher) ensuring content is up to date and all volunteers are fully trained in delivery and safeguarding in line with Doorstep Library’s policies
· Develop and manage the stewardship of volunteers on an ongoing basis and retain comprehensive oversight of all volunteers throughout their volunteering journey
· Curate, with the Marketing & Communications Manager, regular content and communications about our volunteering offer (i.e. case studies, blogs, newsletters etc.)
· Oversee the functionality of the relevant parts of the Volunteer Database (managed by an external company) suggesting improvements/developments where necessary
