About the role
Our Operations team are the people behind the scenes that enable Nordoff and Robbins to function day-to-day. We cover all the essentials such as facilities, health and safety, finance, and IT/systems support.
As an Operations and IT Manager you will play an important role in keeping our music therapy facilities, IT and health and safety functioning charity wide. We’re looking for someone who has excellent task-management skills, is responsive, has strong technical skills and has a can-do attitude. You’ll report into the Director of Finance and Operations and people lead the Facilities Co-ordinator, and together you will oversee the smooth operations of the London Centre.
Don’t worry, you don’t need to be musical, but you do need to be able to spin numerous plates on a day-to-day basis, working with colleagues, clients and contractors right across our London Centre to keep things running ship-shape.

The Salvation Army are partnering with the University of Stirling via the Salvation Army Centre for Addiction Services and Research to deliver a trial for the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). This unique and innovative social care trial will examine the effectiveness and cost effectiveness of a Peer Navigator/peer support intervention for people experiencing homelessness and problems with substance use. We are now looking for a Peer Navigator (lived experience practitioner) within our Homelessness service to deliver a relationship-based intervention to those experiencing drug and alcohol problems and homelessness, providing both practical and emotional support.

- Genuine compassion and non-judgemental attitude for people in need with challenging lives.
- Knowledge of the main support needs of people experiencing homelessness and other forms of vulnerability, including problem substance use and challenges with the welfare benefit system.

We are looking for a Practitioner (Criminal Justice Outreach Worker) to join our team in Aylesbury.
Your challenge? To provide advice, assessments, brief and structured interventions and group programmes. As a Practitioner (Criminal Justice Outreach Worker) in this role you will be the initial contact for referrals into the service from the courts and probation for clients who are being considered for a community sentence treatment requirement, conducting initial assessments via telephone, face to face and offering relevant and appropriate advice, harm minimisation, family interventions risk assessment and management, actioning onward referrals to partner agencies. Facilitating comprehensive assessments and interventions for people who are attending court or have recently been released from prison to encourage engagement in services. Role Overview:
Housing and Service Delivery

Special Conditions
- This post requires the holder to work varying shifts between 08.00 am and 8.00 pm and participation in the call rota system (for which an additional allowance is paid)
- The post-holder is required to work weekends as part of a rota and Bank Holidays when required
- On occasions you may be requested to change your rota to ensure the requirements of the service are covered

As a Recovery service facilitator, you’ll be a key point of contact within the Recovery service.
Your responsibilities will focus around designing, delivering, evaluating, reporting and the continuous development of structured learning programmes for people with mental ill health. You will help shape the ongoing vision and goals of the Recovery College to ensure that future development of the service meets the needs of the people it supports. You will also participate in external forums, workshops and events to promote the work and ethos of Mind in Bexley.
Key Responsibilities
1. Make a positive contribution to the delivery of a thriving, innovative and effective Recovery College.
2. As part of the Recovery College team, deliver both face to face and online courses, workshops and groups according to curriculum requirements.
3. As required, design, deliver and evaluate courses, workshops and groups ensuring co-production at each stage.
4. Ensure effective learning takes place by using evidence based interventions, appropriate teaching methods and learning processes.
5. Demonstrate effectiveness by achieving high levels of student retention, measuring impact, increased involvement of participants and positive individual progress.
6. Contribute to the development of best practice within the service.
7. Undertake student assessments and regularly review individual progress.
8. Support individual students in setting learning goals and participating in workshops, courses and groups to ensure positive learning outcomes.

Rotherham Hospice is seeking a passionate and results-driven Legacy Fundraising Officer to join our Income Generation Team.
This is an exciting new role created to focus on legacy fundraising initiatives, with a primary objective of increasing the number of legacy pledges and gifts to support the long-term sustainability of the hospice's vital services.
Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, the Legacy Fundraising Officer will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to engage with supporters, raise awareness of legacy giving opportunities, and secure legacy pledges and gifts.
About you:
Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in a fundraising environment.
- Previous experience in legacy fundraising within the nonprofit sector.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding of legacy giving principles and techniques, including estate planning and will writing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire donors through written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in database management and experience working with fundraising CRM systems.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

The purpose of this role:
The purpose of the role is to undertake high quality minor adaptations, repairs, maintenance and building works to customer’s homes. All works are to be completed adopting a right first-time approach, in a customer focused manner, within agreed target time and to the satisfaction of the customer. The role will include training for the correct installation of adaptations i.e. grab rails, stair rails, doors, lego ramps, painting, tiling, shower seats, fold up rails, modular ramp systems, modular step systems, external rails, concrete steps. The role also includes small repairs and maintenance jobs
In this job your responsibilities will be:
· To visit customers at their homes to carry out a wide range of minor adaptations, repairs, maintenance and building works.
· Perform all work to a high standard ensuring the complete satisfaction of the customer.
· To ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner and that all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.
· Adopt a right first time, customer focussed approach to all works undertaken
· Liaise with staff from external organisations and where necessary to discuss works.
· To be responsible for ordering and obtaining the necessary materials to carry out the required work within agreed ordering procedures.
· To keep appropriate records of work carried out and materials used for each job.
· Provide adequate protection of customer’s furniture, carpets, & personal possessions etc.
· To be responsible for the removal of waste and debris after completing work and leaving the site clean and tidy.

· Take responsibility for using and maintaining PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
· Ensure the safety, security and maintenance of tools and equipment and report any defects to the Manager.
