This is an exciting new role with the opportunity to make your mark on our social media platforms across The Salvation Army’s UK and Ireland Territory, at a time of digital growth.

As the Social Media Manager you will;

  • Use your creative and strategic skills to elevate our channels, working within a passionate Digital section, leading your team to deliver impactful content, best practice, and social media expertise.
  • Work with our wider organisation on delivering training and advising on how to increase engagement and best practice. This includes using infrastructure like Business Manager and scheduling tools. With our network of social media channels, you will be at the heart of creating policies to support our frontline work.
  • Be passionate about telling the story of an organisation, exploring new channels and possibilities (like TikTok!), testing and optimising, problem-solving and leading a team.

Your creative, organisational, and reporting skills will help to elevate our social channels. If you are an ambitious, experienced social media expert looking for your next challenge, this could be the role for you!
