Who we are

Pratham Education Foundation is one of the largest education NGOs in India. In the words of Nobel Laureate Abhijit Banerjee, "Pratham's impact on the lives of millions of kids has been tremendous; it is quite simply an exceptional, best-in-class organisation that has managed to scale across India." Our best known programme, Teaching at the Right Level can teach a child to read and do basic maths in 30 days for £14, we also offer Early Childhood Development, Vocational Training and Second Chance.

Pratham UK is an independent charity that fundraises for and advocates for Pratham Education Foundation and Pratham International in the UK and Europe. Pratham International supports local charities across the global south to implement Pratham's programmes.

Our culture and values

We are a fully remote organisation, although most of our activity is centred on London.
