We are excited to launch our two-year career and leadership development programme which will provide an opportunity to work within, and rotate between, our organisational practices.
We are delighted that you are interested in joining the Social Impact Fast Track. In the first year of your programme you will join the team as an Analyst and, subject to successful completion of year one, in year two you will progress to Senior Analyst. During your two-year programme you will work within at least two of our organisational practices. You will work directly with our partners, understanding their needs and supporting them to maximise their impact. During the programme you will also lead pro-bono projects for our corporate social responsibility partners.
In addition to gaining experience with our partners and within our teams, you will undertake a structured learning and development programme which includes mentoring from one of our Group Directors, and regular learning and development sessions including a dedicated professional development budget. Between years one and two you will receive a two-week paid break and a budget of up to £1500 to complete a research project on ‘Impact and Sustainability’ and report your findings back to representatives of our Group Board. You will also have the opportunity to have a two-week placement in one of our partner organisations, to help you develop your professional skill set. At the end of the programme we expect a number of participants to apply for and progress into our Officer and Manager roles, or look to secure positions with our partners or other like minded social purpose organisations.
This programme is an opportunity to work within a growing education-focused social enterprise and contribute to directly supporting our social purpose organisations. This programme is open to applicants from a range of backgrounds, whether you are a recent graduate, returning to work or looking for a career change.

As the Peer to Peer Groupwork Facilitator you will set up, lead and deliver a year-long peer to peer group programme for bereaved families who have experienced the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or young child.
The groupwork is based on a programme led by Harvard University and Boston’s Children’s hospital and has structured sessions drawing upon psychological model of CBT, although the sessions are not therapeutic. Each session has a theme and incorporates education, guidance and support.
You will establish and deliver a new peer online support group, facilitating group formation, and enhancing service delivery and creating a safe and welcoming space for bereaved families.
Outside the group sessions you will be responsible for managing the administration and evaluation of the service, including and collection of questionnaires and feedback required for reporting purposes and supporting members with any signposting requirements processing referrals, carrying out eligibility screening, monitoring the waiting list and inputting and keeping all database member and service records up to date.

To do everything you can to help the individuals we work with to source appropriate, meaningful paid roles with local organisations/employers. Day to day, you’ll offer support to individuals who are suffering with mental ill health and other chronic health conditions, offering careers advice and guidance, helping people to set their own recovery and employment focused goals and provide training in personal and skills development such as CV preparation and interview techniques. You’ll also be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive links with Primary care providers, clinical teams, partner organisations, local employers and other relevant agencies and have the initiative to develop and promote the service. Additionally, you will have responsibility for maintaining efficient admin systems to ensure referrals, assessments and reviews are completed in a timely manner.
As well as a good understanding of the IPS model of working, mental and physical health problems and the issues and barriers this can create for our clients, you’ll need excellent motivational, presentation and listening skills and a willingness to travel in the local area and to work outside of office hours as required. On 1st June 2024, Richmond Fellowship, part of Recovery Focus, a national group of charities highly experienced in providing specialist support services to individuals and families living with the effects of mental ill health, drug and alcohol use, gambling and domestic violence merged with Humankind to form a single organisation that provides the joined-up mental health, housing and drug and alcohol support we’ve all known has been needed for decades. Our Manager role is a key position at Swan Lifeline, supported by our animal care assistants and volunteers overseeing the day-to-day running of the site.
This is a physical, outdoor role that supports our mission to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Release Swans back to the wild. Some experience on the water would be an advantage but not essential as training can be given.
Swan Lifeline is the oldest registered charity devoted entirely to the care of sick and injured swans in the Thames Valley and surrounding area and has cared for thousands of sick and injured swans over the last 30 years.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead daily animal care, including feeding, cleaning and site maintenance.
● On a daily basis, manage staff, volunteers and work with Trustees.
● Attend swan rescues and releases, handling birds in a safe, sensitive and confident manner.
● Being able to confidently liaise with members of the public/emergency services.
● Allocate daily tasks to our team of onsite staff and volunteers.
● Maintain and prepare our rescue equipment.
● Handle enquiries from the general public via phone and email.

In this role you will be working alongside volunteer advisers, providing holistic advice and support to households in financial crisis and provide advice around income maximisation, managing fuel costs including leading on our Energy Advice Project, benefit take-up, applying for grants to help with costs arising from the cost-of-living crisis, reducing indebtedness and budgeting and money management to help to prevent future financial crisis.
The purpose of this role is to reduce the stigma for low-income households around needing and accessing financial support and give people confidence to seek cheaper alternatives to contract costs around, for example, telephone, tv and broadband.
The project includes support on preparing personal income and expenditure details which can be used by residents themselves when negotiating with debtors on repayment plans.
This work will have a focus on community-based outreach work, working alongside organisations such as foodbanks and community centres. It will aim to prevent future or recurring hardship.

Summary
The role of Chaplaincy Specialist is key to the spiritual growth of children and young people in the Growing Faith intersections of households, school and church. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic team player to support, connect, encourage, inform and develop chaplains and chaplaincy in schools and colleges and to be an advocate for educational chaplaincy across the church and education system in the Church of England. We will be particularly interested in someone who is able to continue working as a school or college chaplain alongside this role. Please note this role is focused on educational chaplaincy at primary, secondary, and further education levels, not on other forms of chaplaincy.

The Growing Faith Foundation (GFF) started on 1 February 2022, building on the previous two years of Growing Faith work in dioceses. The Foundation is central to the Church's overall aim in its emerging Vision and Strategy to be 'Younger and More Diverse', such that we double the number of children and young people who are active disciples in the Church of England by 2030.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Listening to, advising, informing and connecting educational chaplains
- Contributing to existing networks for chaplains and working with the Networks Lead to develop and facilitate new ones where required.
- Encouraging more diversity within chaplaincy through a posture of awareness, by means of coaching, discernment and encouragement of potential chaplains of all ages especially from marginalised backgrounds.
- Encouraging vocations, young and adult, to chaplaincy
- Informing existing training and developing new training for and with chaplains

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Recent experience as an educational chaplain, connected to a church, deanery or diocese, including in a primary or secondary school
- Recent strategic leadership experience in an educational, diocesan, national role or similar
- Understanding of and passion for the aims and work of the Growing Faith Foundation
- Passionate about the value of chaplains in the spiritual nurture of children, young people and the adults surrounding them
- Strong verbal and written communication with skills - a persuasive and competent presenter and collaborative team player
- Personal attributes: A communicant member of the Church of England - this post is subject to an occupational requirement that the holder be a communicant Anglican under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.

Job Description
- Organise and direct the on-site learning programme.
- Recruit and assess students with disabilities for the programme.
- Plan and deliver daily classroom activities and lesson plans to achieve the Pearson’s Employability Award (Entry Level 3 – Level 2).
- Support interns in developing portfolios, achieving accreditation, and obtaining recommendation letters.
- Oversee interns' emotional and social welfare.
- Collaborate with local authorities and businesses, attending meetings to address student progression and employment needs.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and career plans for students.
- Ensure interns understand their roles through host business inductions.
- Work with job coaches and managers to create and modify internship sites.
- Support interns at worksite placements, including job coaching and identifying placements.
- Build relationships with parents and educate staff on disability awareness.
- Plan and coordinate events like inductions and graduations.
- Contribute to marketing efforts and resolve training and employment issues.
