Key responsibilities include but are not exhaustive;
- Create a safe and stimulating learning environment for pupils, rooted in mutual respect considering pupils’ sensory needs.
- Adapt the teaching of the National Curriculum to meet the varying learning needs of pupils with Autistic Spectrum Conditions.

The Volunteer Programme Lead will be part of Coin Street’s Youth and Community Programmes Team, reporting to the Community Participation Manager. Coin Street have partnered with Bright Centres, St John’s Waterloo and Oasis Hub Waterloo, who jointly support up to 200 volunteers annually, investing their time and skills to benefit the Waterloo community.
As Volunteer Programme Lead, you will work closely with our four organisations, taking a lead role in recruiting volunteers, and improving systems and processes. You will ensure that volunteers are onboarded, trained and better able to access the broad range of volunteering opportunities on offer. This will include removing barriers to ensure volunteering is inclusive and more accessible for people with disabilities and additional needs.
Specific responsibilities will include: auditing the existing reach and scope of volunteering across the four organisations; developing a rich and varied programme of volunteering activities; identifying and recruiting local people who would benefit the most from volunteering; connecting individuals to opportunities; managing a budget; risk assessments and safeguarding compliance; planning meet ups and events; and monitoring and evaluation. The post holder will also chair quarterly meetings and strengthen the relationship between partner organisations.
To be a successful candidate, you will need to demonstrate experience of volunteer management, including knowledge of best policies and practice. You should have project management skills, experience in developing and implementing effective systems and processes, and an ability to support diverse communities. Our client is seeking a Sexual Violence Caseworker to support LGBT Sexual Violence survivors across the UK.
Our client works directly with thousands of LGBT people who have experienced abuse and violence every year. They specialise in supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, and other forms of abuse including honour-based abuse, forced marriage, and so-called conversion therapies. They are a service run by LGBT people, for LGBT people, and the needs of their community are at the centre of what they do.
They run a national support helpline for LGBT victims and survivors of: domestic abuse; hate crime; rape and sexual abuse; and so-called “conversion therapy”. They provide advocacy services, both in London and nationally, for LGBT victims who need longer-term support. They are person-centred, empowerment-based, and trauma-informed – meaning our focus is always on helping their clients decide what is best for them, and then supporting them through their journey.
They use what they learn through working on the frontlines with clients to work on national and local policy change, to improve outcomes for LGBT victims and survivors of abuse and violence. They build evidence through key pieces of research, like their upcoming report into LGBT experiences of sexual violence. They push for legislative change, improved statutory guidance for victims, and better understanding of the needs of LGBT people around the country.
They are looking forward to someone to join their advocacy and support team, providing recovery support to LGBT survivors of sexual violence across the UK. You will work directly with LGBT victims/survivors of sexual violence, offering practical recovery based support and psychoeducation to support clients in their recovery journey from sexual violence related trauma. You will also facilitate groups for survivors with a focus on recovery from the impacts of abuse and violence.
Your work will focus on needs specifically related experiences of sexual violence, including issues such as wellbeing, safety and access to other services to enable survivors to cope and recover. You will be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach to understanding your clients’ needs, while remaining boundaried and mindful of self-care
You will have expertise in delivering needs-led specialist support services, adhering to best practice when working with victims/survivors of sexual violence and maintaining accurate records. You will ensure that data is collected on those they support to ensure that we continue to build an evidence base on the kinds of people we are supporting. You will need to be solutions-focussed and enjoy working collaboratively across a diverse and committed team. You’ll need to have good resilience and self-care, and be prepared to work in an environment where abuse and violence are regularly talked about. You’ll need to understand the impact of trauma and how that affects their team.

International Care Network (ICN) is a Christian charity whose aim is to help to rebuild the lives of refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants. We are seeking a passionate, innovative and committed Wellbeing Coordinator to lead the development and implementation of a new wellbeing service designed specifically for refugees and asylum seekers in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) and other parts of Dorset. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the challenges faced by refugees and asylum seekers together with a mental health/wellbeing qualification and/or equivalent experience. They will be dedicated to providing warm, welcoming, culturally-sensitive and person-centred mental health and wellbeing support. They will work pro-actively and collaboratively with ICN service users, staff, partners and local services to co-develop, deliver and evaluate a local service that enables individuals to build resilience and agency on their recovery journey. You will provide person centred one-to-one- support, information, signposting, and advocacy, develop, and facilitate peer support groups in response to identified need and deliver training and outreach sessions at different locations across the borough. You will work in partnership with South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust (SWLStG), to ensure Carers are identified and routinely referred into the service. You will have responsibility for line managing the Mental Health Carers Peer Support Worker.

- Lived experience of Caring for someone with a mental health condition

About the Project
Hertfordshire Mind Network (HMN) has been awarded Hertfordshire’s CAMHS Early Help Digital Intervention Service (WithYOUth). The WithYOUth Service is an innovative partnership between BfB Labs and Hertfordshire Mind Network to provide a countywide digital service that is accessible to children and young people aged 5 – 18, at the earliest point of an emerging emotional wellbeing and/ or mental health need. The service will operate between 14:00 – 22:00 seven days a week.
Purpose of Post
As a CYP Support Worker you will be responsible for delivering this exciting service as part of a wider team, and whilst experience is advantageous, the most important thing to us and the children and young people we support is having the right values, skills and commitment to being part of this dynamic, new provision.
Our trauma-informed model offers a range of support options for CYP, based around digital interventions and supported by one-to-one and group sessions, so children and young people can engage in the way that works best for them. The service will build resilience in CYP by working with them to develop coping strategies and solutions that will enable them to improve their own health and wellbeing. We will also provide advice and guidance to parents/families/carers and professionals to provide a holistic response to supporting CYP and creating a network around them to empower and enable positive change.

· A qualified counsellor who is registered with an approved professional counselling body (e.g. BACP) and with experience and understanding of the needs associated with loss, grief and bereavement.
· Advanced training in the theory and practice of counselling.

Our Nightlight Service (Cafés, Helpline, 24/7 Crisis House and Daylight provision) is proud to provide urgent support, crisis intervention and emotional support to people experiencing a mental health crisis in Hertfordshire as an alternative to statutory pathways.
We provide support to adults across Hertfordshire 7 days a week, 365 days a year through our helpline, crisis centres, crisis cafes and a weekend Crisis House. We aim to provide a safe space for people in crisis to talk and feel supported, be listened to without judgement, access relevant support with problem solving and facilitate access to external services when necessary. As a member of our team you will work closely with service users in crisis by using a person-centred approach as to ensure that each individual is supported with dignity and respect. By honouring the individual experience of each service user, we are able to respect their autonomy as well as encourage and facilitate positive steps towards management of crisis and recovery.
The objectives of Hertfordshire Mind Network’s (HMN) Nightlight Mental Health Crisis Services are:
- To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health crisis in Hertfordshire.
