The Role

The Supporter Journey Team is responsible for delivering world-class behavioural journeys for our charity partners.

You will ensure that we are continuously providing the best supporter journeys in the sector by designing, building, delivering and optimising omni-channel behavioural journeys at scale, in turn delivering value to our clients.

Working across both Social Mind and Social Sync, you will join an existing team reporting into our Campaign Manager and you will ensure all our charity partners and their supporters receive personal, bespoke communications to maximise fundraising for our charity partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development:
  • Develop comprehensive, integrated journeys for supporters across multiple channels.
  • Ensure these journeys are behavioural and provide a great stewardship experience for supporters.
• Performance Analysis:
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of supporter journeys.
  • Analyse key metrics to assess the contribution of these journeys to overall goals, for example, email open and click through rates.
• Optimisation and Supporter Experience:
  • Identify areas for improvement within existing journeys.
  • Propose and implement enhancements based on testing and learning outcomes.
  • React to key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint opportunities for journey improvements to help drive campaign performance and income.
  • Make data-driven decisions to refine and improve the journeys.
  • Commit to delivering a high-quality experience for all supporters.
  • Address and resolve any issues impacting supporter satisfaction promptly.

Skills and Knowledge

• Experience of designing, creating and delivering outstanding supporter experiences that increase engagement, fundraising rates and average value.
• Ability to understand our charity partners objectives and translating that into exceptional supporter experiences at scale.
• Ability to analyse data and make recommendations that improve fundraising and the supporter experience.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience of writing stewardship copy and ability to adopt different charity’s tone of voice.
• Experience of using communication software.
• Be comfortable operating in a fast paced start up environment, working efficiently at pace with available resources.
• Basic understanding of Charity Law, Data Protection Law, The Fundraising Code of Practice, and other relevant marketing and fundraising standards across the UK

About the role:

You will lead and support a team of Homicide Family Caseworkers to meet service standards & contractual requirements. You will demonstrate the organisational skills required to manage a demanding & diverse workload and will have experience of achieving key performance indicators.

You will have excellent communication skills & will support the Operation Managers to maintain the highest standards of service delivery, across a widely geographically dispersed team. Your team will cover Central and East of England including; South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedforshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex.

You must live within one of these areas and be prepared to travel across the geographical area including occasional overnight stays to ensure you can meet team members in person as well as online. This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. If you are unable to drive because of a disability please indicate this in your application in your personal statement so we can explore the feasibility of alternative arrangements.

You will enjoy working closely with a range of stakeholders (including Police Family Liaison Officers and Senior Investigation Officers within the Major Crime teams/Social Services) & be able to build constructive working relationships, focused on delivering the best service for vulnerable service users. You should be a confident presenter, and able to share the service and work we do to inform, educate and encourage notifications and referrals into the service.

What you can expect in return 

The role is part-time, 26.5 hours per week. The successful candidate can work the hours in a variable pattern which can suit both parties, subject to agreement with the CLC’s board of trustees. The successful candidate will be required to spend time at the CLC each week.

The Holocaust Educational Trust (HET) is a registered charity working with schools, colleges and communities across the country to raise awareness about the Holocaust and its relevance today.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Education and Production Officer to join our team based in Central London. After several years of research and development, we have recently launched Testimony 360, a brand-new digital programme for UK secondary schools that uses interactive survivor testimony and virtual reality to innovatively teach about the Holocaust. Through the programme, students can have a personal and conversational experience with a recording of a Holocaust survivor before seeing some of the sites they experienced for themselves using virtual reality headsets, all without leaving their classroom. 

The successful candidate will serve as a member of the Trust’s Testimony 360 Team, responsible for the digital post-production and testing of interactive recorded testimony to ensure its fluency and usability in the classroom. We are looking for an individual with confident IT skills and the ability to quickly learn how to use new technologies and programmes. As an expert in Holocaust education, you will also contribute to the successful delivery of our Testimony 360 programme through weekly in-person school visits during term time or as required.

Responsibilities

Post-Production, interactive survivor testimony

· Lead on the development (post-production) of interactive testimony, including clipping, annotation, data/metadata input, and Alpha/Beta testing. Throughout testing, leading the training process which ensures the system’s accuracy.

· Maintain regular contact with our partner organisation, the USC Shoah Foundation, including progress updates, shared learning, required training.

· Support colleagues undertaking training and/or working on supportive post-production.

· Logging activity and decisions regarding the post-production editing process, as discussed with members of the Testimony 360 team and/or USC Shoah Foundation.

· Organise and deliver Alpha and Beta testing stages, working directly with students both online and in-person to deliver test sessions and action necessary follow up (to ensure learning from test sessions is fed back).

Delivery

· Contribute to delivery of Testimony 360 through regular, in-person school delivery as part of the wider team, ensuring that the programme is delivered through a robust pedagogical approach. Expected to deliver Testimony 360 one every two weeks throughout term time.

· Plan and deliver Beta testing sessions as part of the development of the interactive testimonies, sharing knowledge and expertise with other Education Officers supporting in this delivery.

· The successful applicant may also be expected to deliver educational sessions to students, teachers and our young Ambassadors outside the Testimony 360 programme and throughout the year. In-person sessions will take place in the UK and sometimes abroad.

General

· We expect all members of the Education team to share their learnings and expertise both internally and externally. This role will require discussions about our learnings from Testimony 360 with the wider Education team, and we encourage consideration for how these learnings might feed into our wider educational offer.  

· As an educational charity, we must ensure that education about the Holocaust is the core of all work. To this end, members of the Education Team are responsible for supporting the wider teams as they develop, plan and deliver on broader public engagement, fundraising, and awareness-raising initiatives.

Role Overview

As a member of the Supporter Engagement Team no two days will be the same. You will be essential in helping us improve the lives of those living with Crohn's and Colitis by offering fantastic supporter service and ensuring our members and fundraisers feel valued and keen to continue to support!

The Supporter Engagement Officer plays a pivotal role in achieving this. By taking a lead in the day to day management of the income processing and membership arm of the team ensuring all income is processed quickly and accurately and supporters are thanked efficiently.

About You

You will have experience of working in a similar role, providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment, handling supporter queries and providing information in a concise and comprehensive manner.

You will be experienced in supervising staff or volunteers and be an effective and approachable networker with a proved track record of building excellent relations with all stakeholders, using high levels of tact and sensitivity when needed.

You'll need strong written and verbal skills and the ability to adapt your style depending on the audience. You'll also be effective at managing challenging situations and competing priorities.

You will have the ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines whilst taking ownership of problems to find a solution where possible, escalating to a manager where required. 

You will also have experience of working with databases to produce reports and insights, as well as the managing the handling of cash and finance processes.

Experience of Microsoft office is essential, as well as high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Our Location

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home although you will need to be in the office for two days a week minimum. There will also be other times when you’ll need to be in the office for fulfilment tasks or to attend meetings such as our ‘All Staff Together’ days four times a year and you will also be required to attend fundraising events.

At Refugee Action Kingston (RAK) we're dedicated to helping the successful integration of refugees and people seeking asylum into the local community. With over three decades of experience, we provide a comprehensive range of services including welfare support, immigration and legal advice, education, counselling, and career guidance.  

RAK employs 15 staff and currently has nearly 200 volunteers. In 2023/24 more than 2,000 people benefited from our services: 

• 1,171 clients accessed advice and advocacy services, including immigration advice 

• 305 clients attended our ESOL classes 

• 250 children, young people and families benefited from our after-school and family support services 

• 61 people were supported by our counselling team

Role Overview

Location: We have an office in Kingston Upon Thames, greater London. Flexible and hybrid working is offered to all staff.

As the CEO of Refugee Action Kingston, you'll lead our organisation in supporting refugees and people seeking asylum in south west London to lead fulfilled and independent lives. Your responsibilities will include:  

Strategic leadership  

• Developing and implementing annual plans aligned with our strategy, in collaboration with the Board of Trustees, to achieve desired outcomes.  

• Maintaining efficient systems for the charity's operations, ensuring good governance and financial sustainability.  

• Overseeing all aspects of organisational management including finances, resources, services, and communications, in cooperation with trustees.  

 
Governance and organisational management  

• Working closely with trustees to direct and deliver RAK's objectives according to the charity's strategy.  

• Leading and supporting the RAK team to fulfil objectives, emphasising client needs, monitoring outcomes, and integrating learning into operations.  

• Ensuring compliance with governance requirements, supporting board responsibilities, and contributing to trustee meetings and reporting.  

 
Financial management and human resources

Connected Futures is Youth Futures’ systems change programme. It aims to foster joined-up solutions to the complex issues and barriers facing disadvantaged young people.

We are looking for a capable, proactive person to support the overall programme management approach for Connected Futures. The Senior Programme Support Officer will support the Head of Programmes to develop and deliver an approach to programme and project management across Connected Futures. The postholder will take the lead on specific tasks, and coordinate the work of the wider cross-organisational Connected Futures team.

You will liaise with external partners and stakeholders, as well as supporting multiple internal customers and workstreams, often to tight deadlines. You will support key external and internal engagement processes, working with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of meetings and capture key decisions and inputs to feed back into programme delivery.

This is primarily a project management role, enabling a cross-functional team to work effectively and efficiently together on a complex, fast-moving and high profile programme. As well as dealing with tasks as they emerge, you will work across the team to keep track of progress, identifying any issues and risks, and enabling the Head of Programmes and other internal stakeholders to gain an overview of the programme as a whole.

This role is fixed term to January 2026 and can be based at any of our hubs located in London, Birmingham or Leeds.  We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.
