As your manager’s title suggests your focus will be on BMS World Mission’s social media channels and suite of supporter and church-facing emails and you will be working within the Communications Team within the Department of Communications and Fundraising.
Both this role and your boss’ role are new creations – we are in the mood to experiment. We know enough to know what we don't know (and we've commissioned a detailed social media and email audit report to tell us the rest) and we dream plenty big enough to know there's so much more we could do. We just need to find the right person to measure the chemicals, heat the Bunsen burner, mix the liquids and holler with glee when the latest experiment shatters the test tube and creates gold. The Role
The Fundraising Officer – Partnerships is an important new role within the Fundraising Team, acting as the face of the Charity and first point of contact for potential corporate supporters and other donors.
Leading on delivering Wonderseekers’ Curiosity Collective corporate fundraising campaign, this is your chance to develop your corporate fundraising skills to deliver a small, personal annual income target. Previous fundraising experience is a bonus, but not essential as support and training will be available. However, you must have impeccable interpersonal and presentation skills, be comfortable representing the Charity and engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders, be results-focused and willing to learn.
Working as part of a small, growing Team of experienced fundraisers, the Fundraising Officer - Partnerships will play a key supporting role to the Team, providing exceptional stewardship to donors. Whilst supporting members of the Team with research and pipeline development, preparing briefing papers and funding proposals and writing and implementing cultivation and stewardships plans, there will be lots of opportunities for personal development and the potential for promotion within the Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the rolling corporate campaign recruitment plan, including attending networking events, sending out partner packs, activity and preparing /delivering face to face pitches
- Co-ordinate the corporate campaign marketing activity, liaising with the Marketing and Communications team.
- Provide exceptional, ongoing stewardship to all members of the corporate campaign
- Monitor all grants and donations received, ensuring that these are acknowledged and thanked in a timely manner and assist with other stewardship activities
- Maintain and champion the fundraising CRM, Donorfy, providing administrative support to other users as required (training provided)
- Manage the fundraising inbox, ensuring that all fundraising enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner
- Keep abreast of sector news / new funding opportunities and conduct other desk research to assist with development and management of the Charity’s funding pipeline/donor base

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at Groundwork as Digital Media Officer at Cannington Shaw Heritage Skills Academy, where you'll be at the heart of our mission to preserve and promote heritage skills. At it’s height, Cannington Shaw was the largest glass bottle maker in the world. All that now remains is the # 7 Bottle Shop – a fine example of what was once one of the first regenerative tank furnaces in the world. Derelict since closure of the works in the 1980s, it is now badly overgrown, with considerable structural deterioration. The site is a Scheduled Ancient Monument, Grade II Listed, and on the Heritage at Risk Register since 2002.
In the ownership of the Cannington Shaw Preservation Trust, the site is about to undergo a transformation as the first phase in restoring the building begins thanks to a £1.3m grant from the St Helens Town Deal.
A partner in the process, Groundwork Cheshire Lancs & Merseyside are leading on a project to develop and deliver a Heritage Skills Academy that aims to link the opportunities presented by the conservation and restoration of the building with local people wishing to develop their skills – with a particular focus on heritage construction skills.
This role is designed to provide practical hands on experience of working on a live heritage project, allowing the successful applicant to develop their experience of partnership working, – as well as a wide range of heritage skills, crafts and techniques.

This role will be managed by our Director of Marketing and Communications and can be based at any of our four Brilliant Club offices, located in London, Birmingham, Leeds and Cardiff. We expect some travel will be required (mainly to London) for events and to attend in-person meetings.

We are looking for a part time Information & Advocacy Community Support Worker in Scotland. You will be home based living in the North of Scotland.
You will ensure that service users (children and adults) and their families, receive high quality support, from the point of diagnosis and throughout their journey, and will assist them to access funding, equipment and care and support that they are entitled to. You will join a team that makes a real difference to the lives of the people living with muscle-wasting conditions, and their families, in Scotland. The role will be primarily home based, but there will also be a requirement to attend outpatient clinics within the region, attend home visits where appropriate and to support responding to queries through the helpline and information inbox. Some travel will be required to attend meetings and events outside of Scotland. You will work with both statutory and voluntary organisations, clinicians, and health and social care professionals to ensure that people living with muscle wasting conditions get the care and support they need to live well and independently.

AllChild is seeking to recruit an Impact Officer who will take a key role in using data to drive impact and support decision-making. You will work closely with other members of the Impact Team to implement projects and work with other teams to drive data collection and ensure key research findings are utilised, communicated, and understood.
We are looking for someone with a ‘can-do’ attitude who can think creatively and problem-solve and who is excited about the opportunity to drive further learning and insight into the AllChild programme.
Some duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working closely with the Impact Manager and Impact Officer to implement AllChild’s data collection processes – ensuring high-quality, complete and timely data collection. This will involve working closely with the Delivery Team to ensure data is accurately collected from schools.
- Supporting with cross-organisational workstreams, conducting robust analysis of AllChild delivery metrics (monitoring data) and Delivery Partner data (partner programme outcomes data).
- Carrying out robust analysis to help the Delivery Team identify the children and young people who could most benefit from the Impact Programme.
