The position of Fundraising Support Officer is a vital role within our Supporter Care team. The Supporter Care team is often the first point-of-call for Trinity’s supporters and fundraising queries – with communication across phone, e-mail and post channels.

The Fundraising Support Officer provides an important part of the donor experience ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately, and donations are thanked in a timely manner.

The role supports the wider Fundraising team and fundraising activities across eleven income streams.

As Fundraising Supporter Officer, you will:

• Process cash, credit/debit card and CAF donations received via post, telephone and online platforms (e.g. JustGiving, Stripe, Enthuse).
• Thank donors appropriately, liaising with Fundraising Managers as needed.
• Perform bank statement reconciliation, which includes processing standing orders, direct debits, online giving and legacies.
• Answer incoming calls to the Fundraising Team and respond to general email enquiries, maintaining Trinity’s clear tone of voice and style.
• Work as part of the wider Fundraising team providing support and participating in other duties where required.
• Support and attend fundraising events, occasionally outside of normal working hours.

Change Mental Health is a leading national mental health charity providing unique support to people with severe and enduring mental ill health. In this critical role you will work closely with the Co-Investigator (Jim Hume, Director of Public Affairs & Communications) to ensure effective and impactful delivery of all project outputs and outcomes. Our Project Coordinator will engage very closely with regional and local community members, setting up and chairing groups where required in partnership with the wider research team, researching process and impact, developing a toolkit, and disseminating findings via events and online media and communication.

As the Essex Recovery Fund Officer, you will play a crucial role within the Radical Change team at Essex Recovery Foundation. The role will oversee the Essex Recovery Fund, a fund which aims to support the recovery community in Essex by providing financial assistance to projects that foster recovery, inclusivity, and community engagement. The officer will ensure the fund's objectives are met, manage the application and selection process, and monitor the progress of funded projects.

What will I be doing?

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Essex Recovery Fund.
• Manage the financial aspects of the fund, including budget allocation and financial reporting.
• Liaise with the recovery community to promote the fund and encourage applications.

Background to School Food Matters

School Food Matters (SFM) exists to teach children about food and to improve children’s access to healthy, sustainable food during their time at school. We provide fully funded food education programmes to schools. Our experience delivering these programmes informs and strengthens our campaigns, bringing the voices of children, parents and teachers to government policy.

Job Purpose

· To manage an exciting, new programme in Southwark implementing a whole school approach (WSA) to food

· To promote, develop and deliver the programme across nurseries, primaries, secondaries and SEN schools in Southwark

· To ensure that the programme is delivered on time and on budget

Key Tasks include:

• Onboard and line-manage a Project Officer and volunteers to support delivery, providing training as required
• Conduct desk research to group schools and nurseries using a RAG rating, based on level of support required to achieve a WSA to food
• Create a detailed project plan for delivery
• Support with the development of resources and training packages for schools
• Work with an early years’ consultant to tailor resources and training to nursery settings

· Recruit schools to take part in the programme

· Build relationships with teachers, teaching assistants, cooks and senior leaders in schools to improve the food they offer their students

· Support schools to complete school food action plans and polices

· Deliver role-specific training to key staff in schools (training provided if necessary)

Royal Trinity Hospice, the UK’s oldest hospice, serves 750,000 people in central and southwest London, delivering specialist end-of-life and palliative care, including support for families. Success relies on the Compton fundraising team achieving ambitious funding targets. The In Memory and Legacy Manager is a vital role, leading on two of the largest income lines for our client.

The role will focus on further development of our In Memory campaigns and events, legacy marketing and promotion as well and working with a specialist colleague to manage legacy administration.

The legacy promotion aspects of the role will include plans to maximise results from a national TV and media campaign in 2025 in collaboration with HospiceUK.

This role is centred around delivering excellent donor care and stewardship to those closest to Trinity, innovative and creative thinking and strong relationship management skills.

The successful candidate will line manage two team members, an In Memory and Legacy Executive and a Legacy Administrator.

As an In Memory and Legacy Manager, you will:

• Lead and develop Trinity’s in memory giving products and events, including the annual Light up a Life concert and Summer Solstice remembrance evening.
• Lead and develop legacy marketing strategies and products, and develop new legacy giving promotion events.
• Manage legacy administration, including maintaining and monitoring the legacy income pipeline, and assisting with practical legacy administration tasks.
• Develop and review regularly income and expenditure budgets and income forecasting.
• Deliver excellent stewardship for newly bereaved supporters and longstanding in memory and legacy supporters.
• Maintain excellent internal relationships with Fundraising colleagues, and the Communications team, as well as the Hospice clinical teams.
• Collaborate with the Communications Team to build promotional strategies.
• Ensure supporter records on the charity database (Raiser’s Edge NXT) are kept up to date.
