The Diocese of Chester is seeking to recruit a Racial Justice Officer to this exciting new, part time role. They will enable churches to reach diverse communities more effectively, and support the culture change required by the Church of England From Lament to Action report.

Responsibilities of our Deputy Centre Manager:
As Deputy Centre Manager you will be tasked with managing our established Centre in line with Cats Protection’s main aims of homing, neutering and educating. You will ensure the welfare of all cats in our care and ensure that all administrative and maintenance procedures are completed to a high standard that is in keeping with our vision. A flexible approach to working hours including the ability to work weekends will be required as all centre employees are expected to work 50% of weekends and some evenings.
What we’re looking for in our Deputy Centre Manager:
- Supervisor/team leader experience, ideally within an animal welfare environment or organisation
- A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of the prevention and control of infectious diseases in cats
- A driven, positive and enthusiastic individual with plenty of initiative and the ability to thrive under pressure

We are looking for an experienced professional to take a key role in our grant-making team as our second grants officer. You will be comfortable analysing applications for funding and making informed recommendations, as well as a highly competent database user, comfortable with “super user” responsibilities. About the role
The NextGen Community Producer will play an integral role at Youth Music shaping and developing our support for young adults, particularly helping them to close the gap between learning and earning in music.
You’ll join us at an exciting time as we look to scale up and enhance our community engagement efforts. Building on the foundations established in phase 1 between 2021-2024, your focus will be on increasing participation, and fostering a more cohesive and active community. Day-to-day you’ll be programming national events, workshops and networking opportunities; brokering progression opportunities though Youth Music’s industry partners, and recruiting to paid freelance creative roles. Key responsibilities
Programme Development
- Act as the day-to-day lead and point of contact for the Youth Music NextGen Community, representing their voice internally and externally.
- Devise and implement a clear strategy for the continued growth and development of the NextGen Community, with support from the Engagement team.
- Deliver impactful programmes of activities and support that will progress young people into creative careers, broaden their networks, increase their confidence and create access to new opportunities.

Events

- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential partners to approach, and support wider fundraising efforts within the team.
Recruitment
- Lead on NextGen recruitment for NextGen Community Events and the Youth Music Awards, with support from the Engagement Coordinator. e.g. Create briefs for NextGen roles and be their main point of contact.
- Support recruitment for any other Youth Music or partner opportunities created for the NextGen Community. (e.g. gigs, festivals, activations, focus groups, etc).
- Develop the NextGen talent pool, finding new ways to promote and manage this.
- Create and source relevant national music-related opportunities for Youth Music’s ‘opportunities board’.
NextGen Fund
- Support the marketing and promotion of the NextGen Fund.
- Contribute and support NextGen Fund decision panels.
- Work with our Comms team to ensure that content created through the NextGen Fund is showcased on Youth Music’s social and digital channels. E.g. Sound of the Next Generation playlist.
Demonstrate Impact
- Work with the Insights Team to listen and act on feedback from the NextGen Community. This will be via monitoring, research and consultation that informs the ongoing development and design of the NextGen offer.
- Prepare and present reports on the plans, activities and impact of NextGen Community.
- Share our learning internally and externally at panels, conferences, and through written pieces.
Systems and processes
- Capture NextGen membership on Salesforce so that we have a clear understanding of who is in our community.
- Work with the Database Administrator to improve our systems, processes and user journeys.
- Work with the Comms and Marketing team to ensure the Youth Music website represents and serves the needs of the NextGen Community.

Then this could be the role for you. At the Digital Poverty Alliance, we are looking for our new Development Manager. We need someone who can lead our development function whilst working alongside our CEO, managing a range of fundraising initiatives whilst also using sales techniques to raise awareness of our Industry Forum and school Donation Management Service (DMS).
This is an exciting, high profile and fast-paced role, joining our small team and working alongside partners, schools and our wider stakeholders to effect real change for people. You will report directly to the Chief Executive.
This is an exciting time to join us. Our work splits into two main areas – the first is advocacy and research, where we seek partnerships that will allow us to grow our nationwide campaigns and calls for action, as set out in the DPA’s National Delivery Plan. The second, a growth area for us, is delivery of programmes that help real people – such as our Tech4 suite of initiatives, which support a range of beneficiaries, but commonly young people and families, to access kit, connectivity, skills and support, and our Donation Management Service which works on a school by school basis to ensure parental donations support year groups gain class-wide one to one devices.
The Development Manager will work with the CEO and our team to facilitate this growth in impact, understanding and influence and encourage new partnerships, while ensuring our donors and supporters feel informed and engaged.
As an initiative, the DPA aims to work through partners in delivering to our core mission and, as such, we retain only a small core team. As such, you’ll lead on the fundraising function and the DMS relationships, but work within a highly supportive team where income targets are shared.
Whilst the role is remote based, you will regularly need to attend in-person meetings and events in central London (daytime and evening), as well as undertaking travel across the UK. About the role
We are recruiting for two experienced and proactive Administrative Assistants. As part of these exciting roles, you will support the respective Global Directors by enabling them to operate at the highest level towards achieving our strategic objectives. These roles involve comprehensive administrative support, effective time management, and coordination of various activities and events with a high level of accuracy. As an Assistant to Global Directors, some of the key duties and responsibilities of the position will be to organise and manage busy diaries, arranging travel, meetings, and events, ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place, including scheduling and coordinating other internal and external engagements. Additionally, you will be responsible for processing expenses and suppliers, supporting project administration, and maintaining databases (Salesforce). You will play a crucial part in

About the hours
Part-time hours of .5 per week, working hours are flexible and these can be worked either across the week (5 or 4 days) or as 3 full days. Please note, that although part-time positions, there will be occasions when full-day or multi-day in-person support will be required, both at HQ and offsite for events and meetings.
About you
To succeed as an Assistant to our Global Directors, you will need to demonstrate strong administrative organisational skills, and be able to efficiently manage complex schedules, while meticulously coordinating travel logistics, researching travel, and orchestrating meetings and events, with excellent attention to detail. Your effective communication abilities, both verbal and written, will play a critical role in handling correspondence, managing expenses, and preparing comprehensive notes and project support. You will need to have a proactive, methodical approach to supporting project administration, be able to prioritise and maintain accurate databases, with the ability to work with flexibility, proactivity, with minimal supervision, recording and reporting regularly on progress and completed tasks. You’ll have a collaborative spirit, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse
international teams, while anticipating the needs of Directors and key stakeholders.

The role:
