The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Data Analyst to work on a full-time basis, 37 hours per week. Alternatively, we will consider part-time hours on a Job Share basis. The role is offered on a hybrid or remote basis depending on proximity to a NEA office.
As part of NEA’s Policy and Advocacy Directorate, you will work within our highly effective Insights and Impact team, as we focus on a decade of delivery that guarantees a fair energy future for all, and ensures those on the lowest incomes and living in the least efficient homes receive the support needed to protect health and wellbeing.
The post holder will support National Energy Action in harnessing the power of data analysis and visualisation in the delivery of our charitable aims. They will form part of a process to embed a ‘data driven culture’ within the charity, enhancing our capability and capacity to:

What you will need to succeed
You will have demonstrable and applied experience in a data analyst role and hold an appropriate qualification in a relevant subject. You will be familiar and confident in using data visualization tools and programming languages to manipulate, analyse and present data.
A compelling communicator you will have the ability to translate complex data into easily digestible, accessible and actionable insights that can be easily understood by diverse stakeholders. The right candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and will build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Week-in-week-out the busy team provides journalists with powerful proactive stories and quick-off-the-mark reaction that generates consistently high levels of media coverage across local, nations, national, consumer and specialist print, broadcast and online outlets.
This role is to be part of the National Media Team, working closely with a Media Manager, another Senior Media Officer and a Press Office Assistant to promote the NSPCC’s major policy-change campaigns and priorities, predominantly via national print, broadcast and digital media. Key areas of focus will include child protection and children’s social care, child sexual abuse, domestic abuse, online safety, early years, education and children’s experience of the justice system. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a network of contacts within the national media, using these relationships to ensure the NSPCC is at the forefront of coverage related to child abuse and neglect. · Lead on grant applications – including the development of compelling grant proposals, you will manage the grant application process, including drafting, editing, and submitting grant proposals within deadlines, and ensuring compliance with funder requirements.
· Working alongside the Director of Finance, support the preparation of budgets for tenders and fundraising.
· Ensure all our income generation activity is compliant with fundraising governance and legislation, including GDPR, PECR, and the Code of Fundraising Practice, and ensure our systems and processes (including the database and reporting) are compliant and fit for purpose in Business Development.
We would love to hear from you if you have a track record, experience, understanding, knowledge of:
· Grant writing, fundraising, or development, preferably in the nonprofit sector
· Grant funding mechanisms, including government, foundations, and statutory funding programmes
· Writing compelling, well-organised content that turns complex ideas and detail into summaries that can effectively engage different audiences
· Organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure when needed.
· Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented approach to achieving funding targets
· Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with the service delivery team and other colleagues

Turn2us is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Brand and Communications Officer to lead the project management of our brand review and support communications activities for Turn2us. The successful candidate will play a key role in refining and enhancing our brand identity to help us reach those most affected by financial insecurity.
We are looking for someone who can confidently co-ordinate our brand review project, working closely with the Head of Brand and Communications and the Campaigns and Communications Manager to balance the needs and views of both external and internal stakeholders.
