You will propose and implement improvements, and train staff members in new and improved practices. Therefore, a previous knowledge of some of the systems we use is desirable, and a proven ability to understand and implement systems is essential.
Client Experience
You will have responsibility for ensuring Client Experience across all communication channels including the website, email communication, telephone, knowledge base and chatbots.
As part of this, you will understand the role and responsibilities of the Office Administrator responsibilities so you can provide training, backfill and assist during busy periods. This includes:

PLACE OF WORK

Purpose of the role:

- To support the delivery of our holiday programmes; and residentials providing overnight disturbance cover where needed
Required skills, knowledge and qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years experience in the youth work sector.
- A minimum in Level 3 Youth Work.
- A highly motivated and creative youth worker.
- Strong empathy and a person centred approach.
- Experience in shaping and delivering youth work programmes.
- Experience in partnership work and collaborating with external agencies.
- Excellent written and communication skills at all levels.
- A strong understanding of the principles of youth work as a distinctive practice of informal education and voluntary participation.
- A good understanding of inclusive practice including different communication methods e.g. Makaton. Advanced use of Microsoft packages.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality.
- Is able to work as part of a team and to use own initiative. Is willing to travel and to work unsociable hours, including evenings and occasional weekends
Desirable

Education Programmes Lead
Vocabulous is looking to recruit a part-time member of staff to lead its regional training programmes, recruit more schools, and help develop the curriculum at both KS2 and KS3.
We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about improving students’ outcomes in literacy, and excited about revealing the patterns in English vocabulary to the next generation of students.
Position: Education Programmes Lead
Location: Remote (infrequent travel to support schools in the North of England)

The Role
Vocabulous is an innovative online resource to aid targeted and explicit vocabulary teaching in Key Stage 2 and 3 English lessons. We are looking for a part-time member of staff to lead our education programmes. This will involve talking to new schools about using the site, working with schools to support them to implement Vocabulous in lessons and running regional training programmes to build networks of schools that are confidently and consistently teaching Latin and Greek roots.
The other aspect of the role is to contribute to the development of the new KS2 and KS3 curricula. This will involve designing aspects of the new programmes, writing questions and resources, and planning changes in response to school feedback. Over the next couple of years, the programme is going to be split into a KS2 site and a KS3 site, with the KS2 site being launched in September 2025.
We are a small organisation with a social purpose, so we are looking for someone who is excited about the job description, but who is also interested in learning more about all aspects of running an education start-up and keen to support Vocabulous’ strategy and growth beyond their job role.
Key responsibilities include:
Training and School Partnerships

The Educational Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) programme is a one-year postgraduate diploma course and is part of the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Psychological Training Programmes (formerly CYP IAPT). The programme trains graduate entry mental health practitioners to work in educational settings offering help for common difficulties in children and young people including anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties, primarily with a focus on CBT-informed evidence-based guided self-help interventions. The programme is a key part of the Green Paper proposals to establish mental health workers in schools to increase the workforce set out by the government in 2025.
In collaboration with University College London (UCL) as the degree awarding body, Anna Freud is recruiting a Course Tutor to support the delivery of the EMHP Programme.
The Course Tutor will lead and be responsible for teaching a significant proportion of three of the programme’s six modules in compliance with relevant University regulations. These will include topics such as low intensity guided self-help cognitive behaviour therapy (GSH CBT) for anxiety and low mood in young people, parenting interventions for challenging behaviour and, depending on experience,
teaching on delivering group interventions and psychoeducation workshops in school settings as well as whole school approaches to emotional wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will have a recognised qualification in a core mental health profession of Clinical Psychology, Child Psychotherapy, Family Therapy or Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and/ or have specific training in CBT. The post-holder will also need to have experience working with children, young people, and families with psychological/emotional difficulties in a mental health service and/ or educational setting.
Location
Hybrid (a mixture of home/onsite working), the delivery of teaching and Practice Tutor Groups facilitation by the post-holder is almost all face-to-face. For face-to-face work, the post-holder will be required to attend in person at our London office (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).

The Role

About the Role
We are seeking a CRM Assistant with a passion for mental health service provision in the UK to join our dynamic and thriving team. In this role, you will help maintain the accredited register, a key regulatory tool, supporting the public interest and advancing the charitable objectives. Key responsibilities include:

EPIKS is passionate about giving people the opportunity to travel without using cars. Using our established Walk Wheel Ride Kirklees Campaign, we are working with partners to increase active travel through consultation, participation and profile-raising. We are seeking a full-time Active Travel Co-ordinator based in Huddersfield to oversee a busy and varied schedule of activity that will lead to behavioural change in active travel in Kirklees. Through funded projects and opportunities around new rail transport infrastructure, we have three Active Travel Community Hubs and a year-long process of collaboration and codesign to discover how people can be assisted to walk, wheel and ride more in Huddersfield, the Holme Valley and Batley and Spen Valley. This is a varied and rewarding role: designing and overseeing inclusive participation with a varied audience; supporting a dynamic team and ensuring that the profile of active travel is raised through activity and innovative communications. You will be an enthusiastic and organised advocate for active travel, who enjoys working alongside partners and the public. You will be experienced in managing budgets and the recording, reporting and evaluation of funded projects.
The post is initially funded for 11 months, 37.5 hours per week. Based in Huddersfield at the Media Centre, a fully serviced and accessible office, with additional centres in the Holmfirth and Batley areas, there is opportunity for occasional home working. The role requires some weekend and evening work patterns.
Role Profile:
The Active Travel Programme Co-ordinator will be instrumental in the planning, delivery and monitoring of regular events that encourage people to walk, wheel and ride more often. Our Walk Wheel Ride programme will work with partners and volunteers, resulting in community-focused walking, cycling and wheeling-related activities. These include walks (led and self-guided); bike repair sessions; training and test rides on e-bikes; social rides; cargo bike engagement events; show and tell events and talks, developing and promoting walking and cycling routes.
In 2025, EPIKS will be promoting multi-modal travel to residents and employers in Huddersfield using an engagement platform Commonplace to discover what help is needed to get to and from Huddersfield town centre, workplaces or colleges by bike or on foot.
Three Community Active Travel Hubs will offer information and advice on active travel: in person, online and via other agencies. A co-design project with an external consultant will utilize advanced software to identify first mile, last mile routes to Huddersfield Station.
Activities will be responsive to local need and cultural opportunities, so liaising with partners and stakeholders will be a key part of the role. This means that the post holder will have room to be creative and flexible and shape the hubs to suit the local community.
The role will require supporting, scheduling and managing the safe delivery of activities with 2 part time Active Travel Engagement Officers, volunteers and cycle trainers. Regular liaison with admin and comms staff will ensure the wider team, public and funders are clear about the plans and outcomes of the Walk,Wheel,Ride programme throughout Kirklees.
The post holder will be able to interlink active travel schedules and issues with the wider EPIKS team, through the promotion of access to greenspaces and improvements to green/blue infrastructure.
