In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Equipping and Supporting Spear Centres
- Spend time in Spear Centres to build a presence and trust with the Spear coaches, in order to provide better employment support for trainees.
- Provide additional support to Spear Centres outside of London as they develop their own employer network and local employment events.
- Serving as a liaison between Resurgo, the employer and Spear Centres in collecting and sharing job descriptions, trainee CVs, interview feedback and handover documents for successful hires.
Account Management and Administration
- Conduct due diligence checks on potential employers.
- Sustain links with corporates, employers and charities in order to generate employment opportunities for young people.
- Research and compile the weekly employment email with current vacancies and opportunities (which includes all new Spear Streamlined Centres) and contribute ‘Job of the Week’ to the weekly Spear Bulletin.
- Manage bespoke recruitment processes and logistics.
- Monthly reporting for national employer partners.
- Attend select online and in-person youth employment events on behalf of Resurgo and the Spear Programme.
- Support the wider Corporate and Employer Partnerships team in administrative tasks.
Support the Coordination of Employer Events
- Help to deliver central (London-based) Hire Me events with mass employment opportunities.
- Equip Spear Centres to run their own local employment activities/events, including effective review processes after the events.
- Track success of central and local events and the impact on education, employment and training (EET) statistics.
- Work with the Employer Partnerships Manager to develop and coordinate employer-related events, such as Coffee and Connect, or organise site visits for employers to a Spear training room or an insight session with a Spear coach.
Spear Alumni Network Coordinator
- Develop and run an alumni network/platform for Spear completers, keeping them updated with further job opportunities and creating a continued sense of community.
- Work with the Resurgo Church Partnerships team to build a pipeline into the Spear Ambassadors group, giving Spear completers a voice in the continuous development of the Spear Programme and encouraging Spear completers to invite those they know to join Spear.
- With the Comms team, identify opportunities for Spear completers to become Brand Ambassadors who promote our work, ensuring success stories are celebrated and feeding into funding applications and reports.
Active participation in and support for Resurgo’s team and mission
- Help build and develop Resurgo’s ethos and Christian life as a team member including leading and contributing to daily team prayer meetings as an integral part of Resurgo’s operation and for the success of its mission.
This role will suit you if you are:

- Good IT skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Salesforce desired, but training will be provided, if needed).

TACT South West are recruiting Zero Hours Children's Resource Workers to work with unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking children/young people, and Neurodivergent children/young people across the South West regions.
The ideal Children's Resource Worker will already have some experience in working with unaccompanied asylum-seeking children/young people, neurodivergent children/young people, and have worked with Parent-Child Arrangements. An understanding of therapeutic support for foster carers and children would be beneficial. There will be a range of opportunities for training and development for this role, as new workers join us on our organisation wide journey to become a fully trauma-informed organisation.

The Role
Koreo is looking for a Senior Business Development and Partnerships Manager to drive growth across our programmes, particularly Charityworks and 2027. These programmes aim to create a more diverse social change sector by placing young people from across the UK in 12-month work placements with nonprofit organisations, also known as host organisations. Alongside their work placements, participants take part in a year-long, ILM-certified leadership and development programme designed to accelerate their impact and future potential.
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual who thrives in a hands-on sales and relationship management role. This person will be responsible for securing work placements for our candidates by engaging with both new and existing host organisations across the nonprofit and grant-making sectors. They must be skilled at maintaining relationships with long-standing partners while also driving new business to support the overall growth and success of our programmes. Each year we aim to secure 150 work placements for diverse young talent from across the UK.
Working closely with the Director of Programmes and Managing Director, and line managing the Programme Marketing and Communications Manager and Recruitment Coordinator, the Senior Business Development and Partnerships Manager, will play a key role in executing Koreo’s programmatic growth strategy. They will identify and cultivate new leads to build a strong prospect pipeline of host organisations, pitch to secure new partners and manage relationships with existing partners, while also overseeing the recruitment of participants into our programmes.

Key Responsibilities
As Senior Business Development and Partnerships Manager, you will hold responsibility for:

Strategy Development & Implementation: Working with Directors to articulate and implement business development strategies that support the growth of Koreo’s Programmes.

About the role:
The Senior Substance Misuse Independent Domestic Abuse Advocate (IDVA)will work within a dynamic, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service.
The successful candidate will be doing half a day satellite work at Turning Point once a week.
The successful candidate will be the post holder will work across three boroughs under the guidance of the Team Manager.
The IDVA will be closely working alongside other colleagues including the Turning Point colleagues/team to deliver support to women with a range of complex support needs including substance misuse, mental health, domestic abuse, sex working, trafficking, and offending behaviour. The IDVA will work in collaboration with their team members to holistically support women in the boroughs of Hammersmith, Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster to achieve sustained recovery, improved health and wellbeing, helping women to manage/mitigate risks, and empowering them to reach their fullest potential in society as well as ensuring the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process.
The Senior Multiple Needs IDVA will assess the needs and risks of survivors, carry out short and longer-term risk management, safety planning and support. As well as identify and refer to services appropriate to their needs. They will also proactively advocate and advice women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies, encouraging them to engage with other agencies, and help co-ordinate the provision of multi-agency support where necessary.
The Senior IDVA will be holding a smaller caseload and will be line managing up to 3 IDVAs.
Work closely with Managers to allocate cases to workers appropriately within 48 hours
About You:
To be successful as the Senior Substance Misuse Independent Domestic Abuse Advocate will need the below experience and skills:
Excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children, of best practice in supporting survivors of domestic abuse, and of the MARAC.
Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field.
Thorough knowledge of safeguarding practice, procedures and legislation
A good understanding of the importance of confidentiality and anti-discriminatory practice, safe practice and health and safety procedures
Experience of risk and needs assessment, safety and support planning, and crisis planning and successfully managing high numbers of referrals
Experience of working in a co-located setting with another agency and providing consultations/briefings to professionals to support in upskilling them around Domestic Abuse
Experience of partnership working and of maintaining excellent working relationships with a range of stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; including report writing, data collection and monitoring

About the role

JOB PURPOSE
The Fundraising and Communications Executive will play a key role in implementing OTR’s fundraising and communications strategies. The role involves planning, creating, curating and managing high-quality digital content across our website, social media platforms and email marketing campaigns. Furthermore, you will support key areas of our fundraising strategy, including trust and grant applications, horizon scanning and ensuring excellent fundraising administration across all areas of activity.

Specific role duties
Supporting the fundraising strategy
