About the Role
Contributing over 50% of the organisation’s fundraised income, this role is crucial for Help for Heroes. Working with your team, you’ll be responsible for the organisation’s legacy marketing strategy and administration, as well as the in memory giving strategy, maximising both income sources so that we can deliver more services to veterans. You will be able to make a significant impact and will use your expertise to drive forward the programmes. About the Team
The post holder will be working as part of the Individual Giving team in the Commercial Directorate which includes Supporter Care, Individual Giving and Legacy & In Memory. Across all our relationships, we build trust and engagement with our supporters and with each other. The quality of how we deliver our objectives is just as important as the end results. Responsibilities of our Individual Giving Officer – Retention
- As Individual Giving Officer you will be part of a passionate and friendly team of six, working on the Retention side of the Individual Giving team. This role is crucial in supporting the delivery of Cats Protection’s Individual Giving programme.
- You will be making an impact by leading on projects across multiple communication channels to steward our wonderful supporters, ensuring they feel valued and helping to generate over £22 million a year in sustainable income for Cats Protection. This includes everything from leading the creative development of stewardship mailings, building engaging and thoughtful supporter journeys, and project managing telemarketing campaigns – all of which feature cats at the heart, of course!
About the Individual Giving Team:
- We sit within the Marketing & Income Generation directorate
- Our team is responsible for the recruitment and retention of individual supporters to generate over £22 million each year and provide leads for the other teams in the directorate
- We currently have a team of 13 working across Acquisition and Retention on our Appeals and Raffles, Membership, Sponsorship, Lottery and regular giving programs using Mail, Face to Face, DRTV, email, Digital, Social and other paid media
What we’re looking for in our Individual Giving Officer - Retention
- Experience in an Individual Giving role or similar, ideally working with agencies in the third sector
- Proven track record of achieving income against agreed financial targets
- Experience in leading projects and managing schedules
- An understanding of the principles of Data Protection legislation and implications for Direct and Digital Marketing
- A good working knowledge of transaction and contact databases

Job Purpose
The Programme Coordinator post is an exciting role with Tutor Trust. You will assist the Programme Manager by liaising with local schools and organising tuition within the Manchester area. This will include attending meetings, coordinating tuition sessions and arranging tutor cover.
You will also support the tutor recruitment and training process and help to ensure that it runs smoothly. You will also maintain and improve systems for the benefit of all our tutors, including ongoing tutor support.
Main Functions
· Assist with setting up and managing tuition assignments across multiple schools/ colleges across Greater Manchester.
· Input tuition related data into our Tutor Trust systems to support quality and impact
· Represent Tutor Trust in introductory meetings between tutors and teachers in schools and online
· Assist with general office functions in Manchester
· Assist in developing closer relations between tutors and opportunities for networking and working together
· Assist in the quality assurance, development and delivery of training for tutors and assist in the recruitment process for new tutors, including short listing and interviewing
· Take part in general induction presentations and other events to promote the Tutor Trust both internally and externally

Person Specification

Overall purpose:
The main purpose of the Senior Partnerships Manager role is to lead on the delivery of first-class account management and development of corporate partnerships that maximise impact and income for Breaking Barriers. The role has line management responsibility to Partnership Managers who are responsible for the delivery of their portfolios and projects to drive the team’s strategy.
Working closely with the Director of Income & Engagement, Head of Corporate Partnerships, and other Senior Fundraisers, you will be responsible for launching and retaining partnerships, deepening relationships and identifying opportunities for growth. This will include the planning, testing and implementation of new corporate partnership ideas and initiatives to help Breaking Barriers in its mission.
The successful candidate will have experience managing and/or securing complex five and six figure partnerships and a proven record achieving significant account growth and retention targets. You will deploy your influencing skills and ability to build profitable relationships to great effect as you take a leading role identifying and nurturing future strategic partnerships. Ideally, the successful candidate will also have line management experience and the ability to develop talent within the team. An understanding of the HR & Talent Development and/or CSR spaces would be advantageous.
Role Summary:
- Work with the Head of Corporate Partnerships and other Senior Managers to ensure the successful delivery and continued growth of our corporate partnerships and business development strategies at Breaking Barriers
- Manage a portfolio of strategic partnerships, and support the wider Partnership Management team to deliver on their key partnerships and maximise value
- Drive growth at Breaking Barriers through identifying and developing opportunities for additional income from existing partners, and by proactively engaging new business prospects
- Provide leadership to line reports, encouraging their professional development and the growth of their partnerships
- Lead on developing and driving forward the Business Behind Refugees movement as a key business development and partnership development tool
- Represent the Corporate Partnerships team as a senior fundraiser, utilising expertise and relationship skills to advocate both internally and externally
- Ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting on corporate partnerships income
- Work with the Head of Corporate Partnerships to develop and implement effective policies and procedures for demonstrably successful corporate partnership account management

You will work remotely but work directly with our membership, promoting their work and providing opportunities for them to grow and develop. POSITION SUMMARY
The Head of Development will provide overall leadership for Videre’s fundraising activities. They will develop and implement the fundraising strategy, ensuring income goals are achieved in the short, medium and long-term through direct relationship building, input to programme design, concept note drafting and deployment of the CEO and Senior Directors. They will be part of the organisational Management Team, working closely with colleagues to deliver on the organisational strategy.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic planning and management
- Lead on the delivery of the 2025-2027 fundraising strategy, adjusting as required, ensuring that Videre has the resources to deliver on its mission and strategic goals.
- Lead on maintaining our backbone infrastructure of prospect research, concept note coordination and drafting and deployment of senior staff (including yourself) into the right spaces with the right messages and background information.
- Track progress against the fundraising strategy, with regular reporting to senior management and the Board of Trustees against strategic indicators and outcomes, and pro-actively address any potential shortfalls.
- Maintain detailed and accurate income projections and forecasts, liaising with the Head of Finance & Compliance to closely monitor organisational cash flow.
- Line manage the Trust & Foundation Officer (expected to hire in late 2025), providing close support on operational tasks, time management and prioritisation, and pro-actively supporting professional development.
- Monitor external donor trends and adapt plans accordingly to ensure Videre remains well placed to secure funding over the long-term.
- Contribute to long-term organisational planning and positioning, and proactively identify aligned funding environments and opportunities.
- Fully participate and contribute to the Management Team, raising fundraising matters where appropriate and helping ensure the organisation achieves its strategic mission.
- Manage the fundraising budget to ensure most effective use of resources.
Donor cultivation, approaches, and retention
- With the CEO, develop and maintain strong working relationships across Videre’s donor portfolio, ensuring timely and responsive communications with all existing and potential funders, including institutional donors, private foundations, trusts, individuals, and other partner organisations.
- Lead the development of cultivation strategies for existing and potential donors and manage their implementation.
- Develop materials, including proposals, grant applications, and supporting documentation tailored to the donor audience, ensuring accuracy, fit, and timely submission.
- Collaborate closely with Head of Finance & Compliance to prepare proposal and grant application budgets.
- Conduct prospect research and monitor new funding opportunities, analyse donor trends and maintain relevant knowledge on donor priorities, rules and requirements.
- Analyse the reasons for success or failure of funding proposals, extracting and applying learning to improve the success rate of future funding applications.
- Ensure adherence to Videre’s Ethical Funding Policy, carrying out due diligence on funding sources where appropriate
- Support regional staff with the development of strategic relationships with in-country donor offices and government embassies.
- Maintain comprehensive records of contacts, meetings and points of cultivation with all donors, and ensure proper follow up.
Grant management and reporting
- Lead on the preparation and submission of high-quality donor progress reports, coordinating teams as required for input.
- Ensure contract information is maintained and recorded accurately.
- Develop and maintain a tracking system to ensure timely submission of proposals, reports and acknowledgements.
- Liaise with the Head of Finance & Compliance to support organisational and donor audits.
Other
- Ensure Videre’s website and donor portal are regularly updated and effectively communicate the organisations values, mission and activities.
- Further organisational Diversity, Equity and Inclusion goals by ensuring project teams are equal partners during the creation of funding strategy, proposal development, reporting, and the creation of key communications materials.
- Manage relationships with fundraising related consultants, designers and suppliers, including fiscal sponsors and the fundraising regulator.

Role Summary
The Head of Sector Programmes plays a significant role in the strategy, design and delivery of our programme of support for students exploring their career options. This includes managing a team of Programme Managers who lead their own teams of Programme Coordinators to deliver key upReach programmes, planning high quality events, managing relationships with external stakeholders, and evaluating impact.
They will report to the Director of Programmes, and will be a member of the Programmes Senior Leadership Team, taking responsibility for the development and implementation of an effective programme design and strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Head of Sector Programmes: This person will contribute to upReach's mission by working to ensure the smooth running of upReach’s core programmes, focused on our sector-specific support. They will work closely with the Director of Programmes to provide oversight and strategic input for upReach’s student-facing programmes, setting the direction of travel and monitoring progress.

PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT AND DESIGN
Make strategic decisions regarding the design and delivery of our sector programmes of support for students, creating a 12 month plan in advance of the start of each recruitment cycle.
Oversee multiple sector programmes, working closely with Programme Managers to monitor efficacy and ensure that high-quality, targeted interventions are delivered.
Guide the Programmes Team to design learning journeys (including events & opportunities) for Associates, in addition to the development of the resources, planning and delivery of events and opportunities relevant to the unique needs of the participants on our sector programmes.
Manage and track team progress to ensure that all organisational OKRs regarding programmatic impact are achieved and reported on to the Board of Trustees.

TEAM MANAGEMENT
Manage a team of Programme Managers in a variety of locations, providing weekly 1-to-1 check-ins, reviews and personal development support. This includes coaching and enabling them to guide Programme Coordinators in their teams to manage day-to-day partnership responsibilities and relationship management.
Act as a role model within the Programmes Team, engaging in all programme interventions and activities to ensure successful, high quality programme delivery is embedded throughout the team.
Support with oversight of professional development within the Programmes Team, including objective setting, performance reviewing and appraisals.
Act as a Sponsor on key strategic Programmes projects, providing oversight and guidance to junior team members.
