In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
The Lead Coach is primarily responsible for overseeing the training room and group sessions with young people. You will help shape the training environment and will confidently adapt and deliver materials and sessions to work within the group’s development towards work readiness.
Delivery of Spear Programme - Group and 1:1 coaching [60%]
- Preparing and coaching Spear Foundation sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme
- Building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture, and attitudes in the training room
- Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively; handling safeguarding
- Taking a lead on rating the work readiness of the trainees and making sure data is inputted and used correctly on salesforce
- Liaising with volunteers for key programme engagement events such as mock interviews and external panels. Leading on briefings and communications with these volunteers
Delivery of Spear Career [20%]
- Delivering weekly Spear Career sessions (including running workshops with past Trainees), maintaining records and reporting on statistics, and creatively developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees
Training the Graduate Coach [10%]
- Contributing towards the training and developing of the Graduate Coach by modelling excellent coaching and giving regular feedback
Trainee recruitment [10%]
- Developing relationships with Job Centres and local referral agencies to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme. This involves liaising with referral agencies, active face-to-face recruitment and monitoring recruitment statistics
Continuous professional development
- Continually engaging in professional development, including being part of Resurgo’s wider coaching programmes and possibly supporting on leading internal training such as Grad Coach Training
Active participation in and support for church team and mission
- As the Spear programme is run in partnership with a local church partner, you will establish a strong personal connection with the church to develop the engagement and backing of church members and help build a strong network of supporters for the Spear programme. As part of this you may be asked to speak at church/events and contribute to prayer meetings as per Resurgo’s Christian ethos and the mission of the church

The Role
The Clubhouse Social Café Manager will lead on the implementation of the of café (Due to open in October 2024) and will manage the Food and Beverage Operations in line with food, and health and safety regulations. You will be involved in the initial set-up of the facility.
You will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the café, providing a diverse of community and health wellbeing projects in collaboration with Trust Senior Manager - Health and Wellbeing. They will also manage and mentor staff and trainees to deliver an effective and inclusive service to customers.
About You
We are looking for a passionate, inspiring catering/hospitality specialist to lead on training, mentoring and the hospitality operation of our new Clubhouse Café at Gunnersbury Park. The café is part of the new Community Sports hub at the site and will also double as a social and community space linking into community projects for all ages. Projects will include mental and physical health with the space acting as a central meeting/training hub. In this capacity you will work closely with the Trust's Health and Wellbeing Senior Manager.
We are partnering with the homeless charity Change Please to create a West London training hub. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and training the café team. Our founder partners in the project are The University of West London (UWL) and the Premier League and Professional Footballers Association Fund. We are linking with the University to offer a range of immersive opportunities for their catering and business students and our Café Manager will link with them on a number of working projects.
The other aspect is the promotion and training in the importance of food, health and performance and the Manager will work with our Trust team to create innovative content and inspiring outreach programmes. Whilst we expect the Manager to have an active interest in food and nutrition, we plan to put some catering support and training in place to support the position.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has appropriate experience to lead the food and beverage side of the operation. They will be involved in the initial set-up of the facility (Due to open in Summer 2025) and the establishment of appropriate operation and health and safety procedures.

About the Role

Skills and Competencies
Our ideal candidate would have the following:

Proven experience in digital acquisition for charity or social cause, or in paid digital marketing or advertising in commercial roles. With demonstrable campaign management experience and expertise setting up and managing campaigns in Meta business suite, Google paid advertising and email marketing.

Evidence of leading successful digital / integrated digital campaigns leading to significant sales/income/lead generation.

The ability to monitor and manage income and expenditure against targets as well as forecast and report on digital campaigns across all channels.

Knowledge and experience of trends and dynamics in digital fundraising (ideally), including audience identification and optimisation strategies including with new technologies like AI tools.

The role and your key responsibilities
As a Senior Account Manager, your role is to line manage a regional team of Account Managers to maximise partner engagement and ensure we retain sky-high resubscription rates. You will manage your regional team’s objectives and regularly monitor and report on progress towards this.

Job Purpose

Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 per annum

Location: Royal Trinity Hospice – Clapham, London (hybrid) 3 days onsite
Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week
Royal Trinity Hospice (Trinity) is the UK’s oldest hospice and serves a community of 950,000 in central and southwest London. Trinity delivers specialist end of life and palliative care at the Hospice and in the community as well as support and counselling services for family and friends.
We are looking for a driven Individual Giving Executive to deliver creative direct marketing campaigns across print and digital platforms. You will be instrumental in expanding our supporter base, increasing income, and delivering exceptional donor experiences.
You will collaborate with colleagues across the Fundraising team, Comms and Marketing, as well as external agencies.

About Us
GiveOut is an award-winning international LGBTQI community foundation. Our mission is to bring together the LGBTQI community and allies to support global LGBTQI rights activism worldwide, building a world where LGBTQI people everywhere can live freely and fully.
Across the world, courageous activists are doing vital work to protect our communities and improve the lives of LGBTQI people. But they lack resources and funding is fragile, especially in the Global South and East. LGBTQI groups receive a tiny fraction of international development aid – just 4p in every £100 awarded by governments.
Our community and allies want to provide support, but it is not always easy to do so. GiveOut’s purpose is to help address this urgent need by providing a platform for our supporters to give tax efficiently in one place to fund LGBTQI human rights activism worldwide. We identify pioneering groups to support through a rigorous process of consultation, due diligence and vetting, guided by our Grant-making Advisory Panel and governed by our Board of Trustees.
We pool the donations we receive to provide grants to LGBTQI organisations around the world, ensuring they have more of the resources they need to defend our communities, tackle inequality and campaign for lasting change.
About the Role
Fundraising and philanthropic advocacy are at the heart of GiveOut’s work. As Senior Philanthropy Officer, you will be a key member of the Philanthropy team, implementing a vital part of our philanthropy programme as we deliver our growth strategy.
You will identify, engage, cultivate and steward major donors (high net worth individuals) and charitable foundations to secure high value gifts and grants, grow long term strategic relationships in support of the LGBTQI movement, grow GiveOut's network, and provide a top quality donor experience.
Working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, you will support them on shaping and executing strategy and work planning, coordinating the donor database and leading on related internal processes, and deputising for the Head externally.
We are open to full time or part time (pro rata) at a minimum of 24 hours, or equivalent to 3 days per week. We are also open to flexible working arrangements to be discussed. Occasional evenings or weekends out of hours will be required, such as for networking or GiveOut hosted events, for which time off in lieu will be granted.
Key Responsibilities

Donor and Partner Engagement

Develop and maintain a pipeline of major donors and trusts & foundations

Prospect Research and due diligence on prospective donors

Cultivate strong relationships with prospective and existing donors

Write compelling grant applications and funding proposals tailored to trusts & foundations

Secure five and six figure partnerships and donations to support GiveOut’s mission to grow giving to support the global struggle for LGBTQI human rights

Donor reporting on the impact of their gift through grant partner successes

Represent GiveOut at events, speaking engagements, and donor meetings.

Strategy and Leadership
-
Support the Head of Philanthropy on fundraising and philanthropic advocacy strategy and plans aligned with organisational goals

Deputise for the Head externally as needed

Operations and Reporting
-
Maintain and optimise fundraising systems, including the donor database (Donorfy) and fundraising pipeline

Report back on pipeline and partner development to the Head of Philanthropy

Support the Philanthropy Coordinator on finance reconciliation process

Team Collaboration and Culture

Work closely with the Communications & Campaigns Officer to create effective donor materials and external communications.

Collaborate with the Philanthropy Team Coordinator who supports the Philanthropy Team on reporting, grant applications, events etc.

Essential Skills and Experience

Passion for GiveOut’s mission to grow giving for LGBTQI rights and a commitment to advancing LGBTQI rights worldwide.

Proven experience and success in non-profit fundraising, including individual giving

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Exceptional written and verbal communication for engaging donors and stakeholders.

Proficiency with fundraising software and databases
Desirable Skills and Experience
-
Experience of major donor fundraising with a track record of initiating new relationships and securing four to five figure gifts.

Experience of securing grants from Trusts & Foundations with a track record of initiating new relationships and securing five to six figure grants.

Experience of running cultivation and/or fundraising events
-
Understanding of budgeting and financial forecasting.

Familiarity with Google Workspace tools, event management tools (e.g. Eventbrite)

Working knowledge of GDPR
