Purpose of the role:
We are looking for 2 Mental Health Personal Independence Co-ordinator’s to join our team.
The Mental Health Personal Independence Co-ordinator (MHPIC) will work as part of the MHPIC team and will work alongside clinical and social care professionals in local multi-disciplinary teams assigned to specific GP surgeries. Each MHPIC will be assigned to a specific locality located within the Integrated Care Network Plus health and social care systems in either North, Central or South Croydon. The multi-disciplinary team learning and development during the initial two-year test period will inform the development and growth of the MHPIC team to ensure that it can support community-based mental health and wellbeing across the whole population and in all 6 Integrated Care Network Plus localities.
MHPICs will provide initial contact and assessment conversations with clients using Open Dialogue tools and techniques to enable people to develop their own Personal Recovery Plans and supporting them directly over a period of time to find and access the support and services available to them in their local community.
Each MHPIC will be the direct named key worker for a set number of people who are referred to the service by healthcare professionals, including GPs, Mental Health Practitioners & Health Care Assistants, Social Prescribers and other voluntary or community sector organisations. They will provide one-to-one support in the achievement of an individual’s recovery goals, ensuring that support is person- centred; that needs and wishes are identified by people themselves; that they have a stronger voice in relation to issues that affect their lives; and that they are supported and empowered to improve and/or maintain their mental health and wellbeing and to live their best independent lives.
Support in the community includes home visits. The aim of home visits is to assess clients' strengths and needs and link these to agency and community resources, and to ensure that individual clients’ needs can be met within a risk-assessed policy approach.

Job Purpose: We are looking to recruit an empathic, warm, friendly, hard-working and flexible person who is passionate about improving young people’s emotional wellbeing and mental health. Main Responsibilities:
To help assess the needs and strengths of the referred young adult and help them identify individual goals to achieve desired change
To deliver early support/targeted group interventions which aim to improve mental health and well-being, build on existing strengths and increase levels of resilience
Record and collect data with various tools such as Outcome Star and Session Feedback Questionnaires to evaluate the ef fectiveness of interventions

To take responsibility for Youth Support Workers, volunteers and colleagues volunteering time to the project, taking charge of a staf f rota and ensuring guidelines are in place and updated regularly to ensure best practice
Outreaching to external volunteer workers and communicating closely with HR
Any other duties are required to be performed within the grade and renumeration of the role

The Senior Support Worker will coordinate and lead the Bromley by Bow Centre’s day care service for adults with a range of abilities and needs, including those with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, dementia and mental ill health.
The role will oversee the day-to-day running of the service and lead a small team of support staff, workshop tutors, volunteers and student placements. They will be responsible for ensuring all current and newly referred individuals receive high-quality, person-centred support. They will lead and support training and development within the team and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to staff.
To ensure the Senior Support Worker establishes and maintains contact and involvement with those accessing the service, an element of their role will be direct support provision. They will be responsible for preparing and maintaining up to date support plans and coordinating the provision of high-quality, personalised care designed around individual abilities, needs and choices.

What is Barnardo's Swansea?

Our services include:
- Bloom - Life coaching and befriending
- Supported Lodgings – providing supported accommodation with a host family
- Transition and Training Flats Service – independent living experiences and life skills support
- Barnardo's Wellbeing Service – emotional wellbeing support for children and young people aged 9 to 17 years
As part of the Transition Training Flat Service you will undertake direct, planned and structured one to one and group sessions with young people. Working toward distinct outcomes you will support young people to reach their person-centred goals in a trauma-informed way.
Key elements of the service include:
- Group work promoting independent living skills to young people in preparation for their ‘move on' housing options. This will include delivering accredited Independent Living Skills programmes, facilitating visits to accommodation providers, as well as providing opportunities to develop practical skills such as cooking, budgeting, cleaning and bill paying in a home environment
- Support for those at risk of homelessness or those at risk of placement breakdown, for young people aged 16+. This is targeted one-to-one support for those young people who may be experiencing instability in their accommodation or placement.
- This service will provide young people aged 16+ with an independent living experience in order for them to better understand their accommodation needs and options. Intensive individual support will be provided to those young people accessing the training flats (includes evening and weekend working).
What does the Job Role involve?
Your duties will include:
- This service provides support to young people from 9am until 8pm Monday to Friday and from 10am until 6pm on weekends.
- The service requires flexibility of work as we support young people around their needs. This means rota working including the evenings and weekends.
- Working with young people and professionals to develop agreed support plans.

LawWorks is the operating name of the Solicitors Pro Bono Group. We are a charity, and our aim is to enable access to justice through supporting and developing the contribution of legal pro bono.

our Secondary Specialisation Programme supports the development of more ‘in-depth’ pro bono in areas of social welfare law. we support collaborative projects including: Pro Bono Connect: a project which facilitates barristers and solicitors working together on pro bono cases; the Domestic Abuse Response Alliance and IP Pro Bono.

we have launched new online tools and digital platforms including a website called ‘Free Legal Answers’ and the Pro Bono Portal UK (with Justice Connect, an Australian access to justice charity).
In addition to encouraging and supporting pro bono delivery, we also work to address barriers to justice and to provide a ‘policy voice’ for pro bono - for example, working to address regulatory and other barriers to pro bono volunteering, and working with our members and others to influence policy on legal aid and other aspects of access to justice.
The role
Our experience in the different regions in England and Wales has shown the valueof having staff based locally to support pro bono initiatives, develop new pro bono opportunities and to increase engagement from the local legal profession.
This role will include helping to develop and support your own set of clinics, building on existing relationships in the Southwest or North of England. You will work with our members and the local advice sector to support the development of new pro bono clinics to meet unmet legal needs. We take an innovative, tailored approach to the support we provide, and you will provide one-to one support for individual clinics, allowing you to identify and address need, providing help with insurance, regulatory queries, finding volunteers and access to online tools.
A small part of the role (1 day per week) will involve working closely with the part-time Engagement & Training Officer (Wales) focusing on expanding stakeholder engagement to increase the number of independent legal advice clinics in Wales and promote pro bono involvement by the legal profession. · Support the team with the transition to our new CRM system in 2025. Including user guide testing, journey creation etc.
· Be part of the data checking team, reviewing outgoing data files before they go to our print partners.
· Assist in the delivery of major disaster appeals.
- Supporting the delivery of reactivation, upgrade and engagement campaigns across Book Club and traditional audiences.
· Assist in Book Club social media content planning and creation, as well a community page moderation.
· Supporting with Book Club inbox.
· Supporting with ad hoc Book Club admin tasks.
· Working with the Book Club Coordinator and our Book Club volunteers to deliver virtual events and face-to-face club meetups for the Book Club community.
- Handle administrative tasks such as organising meetings, taking minutes and following up on agreed actions – ensuring that project documents, and plans are kept up to date.
· Ensure that Retention and Book Club invoice and PO logs are kept up to date.
· Keep up to date with developments in the fundraising sector, particularly in relation to best practice.
· Any other duties as deemed necessary to support the Retention team, including some out of office working hours during high profile disasters.
