Do you want to work with multiple award-winning charity, FoodCycle? As Regional Manager you will represent, manage and co-ordinate FoodCycle for your allocated regional Projects. Our Projects are spaces where volunteers are empowered to run their own community meals using surplus food.​

You will manage local relationships with supermarkets, volunteer recruitment channels and venues to enable this to happen. As an excellent communicator, you will manage the volunteers at each Project ensuring they are trained, supported and on-message with FoodCycle strategy, ensuring that volunteers are confident enough to self-organise and make a success of their Projects.​

You will have experience of programme planning and delivery, and working with volunteers. You will be experienced in building relationships with a range of stakeholders, and be passionate about food and cooking.​

There will be frequent travel to our projects in the North East, with some evening and weekend work needed to cover our projects. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this rewarding role.​

Digital Marketing Manager - Maternity Cover

As our Digital Marketing Manager, you will find creative ways of building WaterAid’s online presence primarily through paid media channels.

In this role, you will take direct responsibility for developing and implementing key campaign and project strategies as well as identifying opportunities for growth within the digital programme.

You’ll also: 

• Accountable for planning and executing integrated campaigns that combine digital and offline marketing channels to deliver cohesive, measurable results aligned with overall marketing objectives.
• Responsible for budget management and reporting on income and expenditure.
• Work with external creative and media partners on projects within agreed budgets.
• Devise and execute a continuous programme of content optimisation and testing through a rigorous test to learn methodology, regularly monitoring, evaluating and analysing campaigns.

Requirements

You have a track record in and passion for digital marketing, with experience in paid digital media planning, buying and budget management.

To be successful, you’ll need: 

• Experience working on integrated digital marketing campaigns and strategies.

• Hands-on experience managing creative agencies to develop content and assets for paid digital campaigns.

• Experience in building and managing marketing campaigns on social platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn), Google Ad campaign types and programmatic advertising, taking decisions, testing and publishing without supervision.
• The ability to analyse user experience data with CRO testing, conduct A/B tests, optimise conversion funnels, improve user experience working with our Digital Product team to implement changes
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Lead on the management and development of our ecommerce sites (Shop for life and Store). Working with agencies and wider teams to ensure consistent updates and optimisations, creating and executing data -driven campaigns to maximise conversions and deliver growth.
• Knowledge of a range of measuring tools (including GA4) and the ability to understand and translate data and analytics into insight that can be understood and applied by wider teams.

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

• Familiarity with owned, earned, and shared media.

• Experience creating and pitching business plans.

• Drupal website management and use of CMS.

BACKGROUND

This is an exciting opportunity to join the legal aid casework team at Asylum Aid. You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the billing of our legal aid work (including controlled work, certificated work and inter partes bills), which is vital to ensure the financial sustainability of our work. Asylum Aid holds legal aid contracts in the immigration & asylum and public law categories.

For thirty-five years, Asylum Aid has been providing legal representation to some of the most vulnerable people seeking asylum. We have built an expert service, delivering vital and life-saving services in some of the most complex legal cases, with a particular speciality working with unaccompanied children, survivors of trafficking, torture or other forms of human cruelty, and stateless people. Our vision is that all those in need of protection from persecution and other forms of human cruelty in the UK can obtain it, and are treated fairly and with dignity.

Since August 2020, Asylum Aid has been part of the Helen Bamber Foundation Group. Asylum Aid operates as an independent charity, led by its own Executive Director within the group structure, and is ambitious about growing its impact and reach in the future to ensure protection from persecution for those who need it. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role would suit a person with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills and numeracy. The ideal candidate will have already embarked on or be looking to develop a career providing excellent legal aid billing support and coordination essential to the financial sustainability of legal aid practice, whether within the charity sector or private practice. You will have a strong commitment to the values of Asylum Aid and an understanding of the importance of sound legal aid billing practices to our continued ability to provide our expert service to our clients. Prior experience is not essential as full training will be given and peer support is available.

The focus of the role of billing coordinator is to ensure the efficient and robust delivery of costing and billing of legal aid files conducted under Legal Aid Agency (LAA) contract (Legal Help / Controlled Legal Representation and certificated work) as well as liaising with external costs lawyers to oversee the preparation of Inter Partes bills and negotiations with the paying party where we have obtained an order for our costs in judicial review proceedings.  This includes reconciliation of Legal Aid Agency payments received and made, and to provide essential coordination within the organisation to support lawyers in ensuring files are billed promptly and accurately, and costs are maximized. The billing coordinator will work with the Director of Legal Casework to develop and maintain an effective tracking system to ensure timely progression from case closure to billing.

This role will work closely with the Legal Team of Asylum Aid and the Finance team of the Helen Bamber Foundation Group. You will also have access to the London Legal Support Trust Centres of Excellence legal aid billing peer support group and peer-to-peer support.

As this is a new role, there will be clear targets set as to the additional legal aid income brought in as a result of the extra capacity it will bring and a review will be undertaken after 12 months as to whether it is having the desired impact on our legal aid income.

The Bread and Butter Thing (TBBT) - whose mobile food clubs give access to low cost weekly shops and affordable food to communities starved of money, food and resources - is seeking a passionate, strategic and proactive fundraising leader to join their dynamic team at a pivotal time in the charity’s growth.

The charity’s vision is to make life more affordable, to build strong communities and to reduce food waste. Since launching in 2016, The Bread and Butter Thing has grown rapidly – now reaching over 100,000 people through more than 140 community hubs across the North of England, with an annual income of circa £6 million. As well as tackling food poverty, the charity creates spaces that foster community connection, reduce social isolation, and improve general wellbeing.

This role will take a lead on growing and diversifying income from trusts, foundations, corporates, major donors and public sector sources, and will be responsible for championing a culture of partnership, building meaningful relationships and helping to amplify the organisation’s impact and story.

The Philanthropy Lead is central to TBBT’s ambitions to grow their geographical reach and raise their national profile to reach more communities, working to shape and deliver a high-value fundraising strategy, lead multi-sector funding bids, and work hand in hand with delivery teams, partners, and stakeholders. As the subject expert in fundraising, the post-holder will be hands-on in developing proposals and cases for support, managing key accounts, and working as an active member of the Senior Leadership Team to identify and progress opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven record of building relationships and securing income from high-value sources, including trusts and foundations, corporates, major donors and public bodies. You will have experience of developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies with measurable outcomes. A strong understanding of the funding landscape for community development, poverty reduction, and/or food justice would be an advantage.

As well as having excellent communication skills you will be an outstanding relationship-builder, able to connect with funders, partners, communities, and colleagues. Parenting Mental Health is a charity dedicated to supporting parents and carers of children experiencing mental health challenges. With an annual income of approximately £300k, we are on an exciting growth journey and need a motivated and enthusiastic Fundraising Manager to help us expand and diversify our income streams to continue delivering vital support.

We are looking for an individual who has fundraising experience and who is ready to roll up their sleeves and help us build on our successes so far.  You will drive initiatives forward on your own whilst working closely with our new CEO – no one day will be the same!  The impact you could make will change family lives for the better.

Your Role:

As our Fundraising Manager, you will develop and implement robust fundraising for the charity growing our income through existing and new fundraising streams.  One of our initial ambitions is to implement an individual giving programme as well as build community and challenge event fundraising.  It’s a varied and rewarding role where you will contribute to the charity’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trusts and Foundations: research potential funding opportunities, submit applications, and maintain relationships with existing grantors.
• Individual Giving: develop and implement an individual giving programme.
• Community Fundraising: develop and implement community fundraising initiatives to generate vital income.
• Challenge Events: develop and implement a programme of UK based events, encouraging participants to meet their fundraising targets.
• Corporate Fundraising: identify and engage corporate partners, securing financial support and managing ongoing partnerships.
• Donor Stewardship: ensure donors feel valued by sending timely acknowledgements and regular updates on the impact of their support.
• Database: help implement and maintain a new CRM system.

What We Are Looking For:

• An experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of delivering fundraising strategy and results.
• A proactive and flexible attitude, with the ability to manage a variety of tasks and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for building relationships.
• Attention to detail and knowledge of fundraising regulations and best practices
• Experience of digital fundraising platforms and social media campaigns and how the charity can use these to maximise income.
• A passion for the mission of Parenting Mental Health and a desire to make a positive impact: “Lived experience” desirable but not essential.

Want to work with multiple award-winning charity, FoodCycle? As Regional Manager you will represent, manage and co-ordinate your allocated regional Projects. Our Projects are spaces where volunteers are empowered to run community meals using surplus food.​

You will manage local relationships with venues, community partners, supermarkets and volunteer recruitment channels to enable this to happen. As an excellent communicator, you will manage the volunteers at each Project ensuring they are trained, supported and on-message with FoodCycle strategy, ensuring that volunteers are confident enough to self-organise and make a success of their Projects.​

You will have experience of programme planning, delivery and development including community led/owned programmes. You will have experience of building relationships with a range of stakeholders and be passionate about food and cooking.​

There will be frequent travel to our projects in Yorkshire and The Humber, with some evening and weekend work needed to cover our projects. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this rewarding role.​

Location: Home-based, with a minimum of every other week travel into our London Office (Islington)

About the role:
