Job Title: Campaigns Manager (South East) (2 positions)
Responsible to: Head of Campaigns & Elections (UK)
Salary: £35,000 - £41,000 per annum (potential to negotiate for an exceptional candidate)

Purpose of job
To deliver election success in priority areas across the South East, with a clear objective of putting “more gold on the map” – based on a programme of work jointly agreed between the Federal Party and South East Regional Party.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver the seat support programme agreed between LDHQ and the Regional Party to develop the skills of volunteers and staff, build party capacity, and win elections;
2. Deliver targeted wins in strategically important elections – directly managing campaigns where needed;
3. Increase the take up of national campaigns and messages that grow the Liberal Democrat brand and movement;
4. Ensure good communications and relationships between the LDHQ Campaigns & Election Directorate, the Regional Party and key stakeholders – including candidates, local parties and campaign teams.
5. Work with local parties to identify ways of increasing the diversity of membership, through engagement with local charities, organisations, groups, schools, faith institutions, publications, and personal connections.
6. Increase the diversity of candidates by working with local parties to remove barriers to standing, and encouraging all candidates, especially those from local and diverse backgrounds, to attend training and receive mentorship. 8. Maintain records of local party development plans as they are created, and successfully appointed Liberal Democrats. Create a shared space for these documents which is accessible to the Campaigns Manager and selected regional staff.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
We are looking for a strong campaigner who can deliver campaign and election success for the Liberal Democrats. The heart of this role is working closely with local staff and volunteers to support the development of local campaigning in key areas through our seat support programme.
You’ll be a confident person, with strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships. You’ll be a person at ease with the latest online and offline campaign techniques.
Ideally you will have been part of multiple successful election campaigns and will have a strong understanding of what it takes to win.
You will be able to demonstrate a record of election, fundraising and capacity-building success, with an instinctive sense of what makes an effective political message.
You will have sound political judgement, an in-depth understanding of voters, and will know what it takes for candidates to cross the winning line.
You will be well organised and able to work without supervision in a challenging environment.
A good temperament that allows you to deal with the unexpected is a must.
You will need strong leadership and communications skills, and must also show a willingness to innovate, experiment, and share best practice.
This role will suit someone who enjoys variety in their work and working with teams with differing needs and levels of development.

The Role
In this period of a new government, we have an ambitious programme of events planned under our Political Leadership theme and we are recruiting an events assistant to join us for one year to support the additional work anticipated, as well as assist on Green Alliance’s other core events. This work will significantly involve varied activity under our new one year training programme for the environment sector, Project Boost, which includes retreats, workshops and panel discussions.

Position in the organisation
This role is part of Green Alliance’s communications team. The communications team includes the head of communications, events and engagement manager, the senior press officer, and the communications officer. The events assistant will report to the events and engagement manager and work closely with the politics team.
Key tasks and responsibilities
Event assistance
− Help with logistics and administration in advance of events, including badge making, researching venues, invitation tracking and document circulation.
− Assist in gathering and compiling details for speaker briefings.
− Organise important logistics such as organising event materials, printing and travel.
− Assist onsite at events, for example with registration, venue liaison and managing Q&A mics.
Contact management assistance
− Assist with uploading attendee information to the database.
− Assist with database management, keeping contact lists regularly updated.

Primary job functions and key accountabilities
- Representing the sector and wider Association at meetings, conferences, exhibitions etc. and making presentations on the work of the Association and the interests of members.

ABOUT THE ROLE
People who work in operations have a multiplier effect, increasing the efficiency of their colleagues within the organisation by constructing processes that ensure the organisation operates smoothly and at top capacity. An excellent and more succinct description of operations management as a field comes from Gabrielle Zevin’s Tomorrow, Tomorrow and Tomorrow:
Though it took Sadie years to admit this to Sam, Marx did prove incredibly useful that summer. No, Marx wasn’t a game designer. He wasn’t an ace programmer, like Sadie, and he couldn’t draw, like Sam. But he did almost everything else for them, and his contributions ranged from the pedestrian, but necessary, to the creatively essential. Marx organised workflow, so Sadie and Sam were more aware of what the other was doing and what they needed to be doing. He made long lists of supplies they would need. The Operations team provides operational support to AIM (e.g., human resource management, finance, productivity). The team also supports our incubated charities, assisting with their initial set-up after the program so they can hit the ground running, as well as ongoing ad-hoc requests and advice as needed. Added to this, Operations supports other participants in programs run by AIM(e.g., people completing fellowships with our research team). While this is less than for the Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Program, it increases as these programs mature.
Our Operations team currently consists of ~2.8 FTE – our Chief Operating Officer (previous Managing Director and CTO of Founders Pledge), our Director of Operations (with a mixed background in legal services, management consulting, and scale-up operations), and a Senior Operations Manager (with a background in risk and security management in low- and middle-income countries). The team also relies on external contractors for some of its functions (e.g., bookkeeping, legal advice).

APPLICATION PROCESS
Our application processes aim to be highly predictive, time-effective, and informative for you. THE ROLE
• This is an exciting role co-ordinating project planning and project management of the Woodland Trust’s contribution to the Northern Forest, a landscape scale partnership stretching from Liverpool to Hull, and one of the Woodland Trust’s key focus areas, called Treescapes, in the UK.
• You will help build detailed project proposals and facilitate funding bids to support Woodland Trust delivery of the Northern Forest.
• Act as WT account manager with Defra for the Northern Forest Nature for Climate Fund woodland creation programme and other relevant funded programmes, overseeing and preparing associated reporting to funders, and associated project management processes.
• Responsible for coordinating project management of the WT Northern Forest Treescape plan.
• Deliver pro-active and positive internal and external stakeholder engagement and communication, building and maintaining effective relationships.
• Ensuring that organisational goals, in particular those of WT’s 2030 Strategy are maximised through the Northern Forest in the context of complex and wide-ranging external partnership arrangements.
• Travel to and from the Northern Forest will be required.

Ashinaga UK is seeking a driven and well-organised Partnerships Manager to propel our fundraising efforts, with the goal of advancing the Ashinaga Africa Initiative by securing funding to create new scholarships and opportunities for orphaned youth. This role will play a key part in expanding our impact and supporting the education and leadership development of young leaders from sub-Saharan Africa.
The Ashinaga movement was founded in Japan in the 1960s and has since expanded across the globe, empowering over 110,000 orphaned youth with access to education and support to achieve their full potential. The Ashinaga Africa Initiative was launched 10 years ago with the aim of equipping future leaders for Africa through undergraduate scholarships and leadership development opportunities. Ashinaga UK is proud to be part of this global movement, contributing to the mission of transforming lives and communities through education. Our work is primarily in the UK through collaboration with key university partners and donors.
The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for securing and building funding partnerships, overseeing external communications, and spearheading grant applications. The Partnerships Manager will work closely with the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Managing Director to develop and execute the fundraising strategy.
- Manage existing funding partnerships and establish new relationships to further Ashinaga UK’s mission.
- Secure partnerships with corporations, foundations, individual donors, and UK universities.
- Identify new funding opportunities, cultivate relationships, write proposals, and report on progress.
- Write high-quality grant proposals to secure funding from grant-making bodies.
- Oversee the partnerships database, donor reporting, and contribute to the annual Charity Commission trustee report.
- Create external communication materials, including website content and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with key team members to develop partnerships related to scholarship programming and opportunities for scholarship recipients.
- Plan and coordinate external-facing events, such as donor receptions, corporate sponsor events, and webinars to enhance engagement and raise awareness of Ashinaga UK's mission.

The Awards Management Unit (AMU)
AMU has responsibility for identifying, securing and managing all funding from government donors for the IRC. AMU is a bridge between donors and the IRC’s work on the ground. The team provides expert technical advice to colleagues delivering our services around the world, ensures consistency and compliance with our donors’ policies and procedures, and manages risk. The unit also supports all IRC staff working on awards from government donors and partnerships.
The Purpose of the Role
The Senior Advisor, FCDO Donor Engagement will lead, guide and coordinate IRC’s funding focused engagement with UK Government’s Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). The post holder will provide an internal and external “account management” function to support engagement with these donors. The role is responsible for providing expertise and leadership on donor relations. It will work closely with technical and proposal development teams who will provide the operational BD capacity to secure significant growth in its funding portfolio from the UK Government and to protect IRC’s funding share, through influential engagement around policy shifts, working in close collaboration with Policy & Solutions as well as Advocacy & Influence.
The FCDO Senior Advisor will lead the development and implementation of strategies for proactive donor and partner relationships on behalf of IRC. The role will develop and maintain positive working relationships and standards of collaboration with senior colleagues across the organization, including the Awards Management Unit, International Division (CRRD) and External Relations. The role will also lead FCDO liaison on Business Development with the President’s Office, advising the leadership board on relevant trends in FCDO funding.
Major Responsibilities:
Strategy
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop, update and lead a comprehensive UK-focused business development strategy including approaches, tools, and metrics.
- Lead the development and implementation of the UK donor engagement strategy including coordinating actions of relevant stakeholders.
External Representation
- Develop and maintain a network of senior stakeholders within relevant FCDO teams to ensure effective engagement, influence and winning BD approaches.
- Undertake direct representation with donor officials, and support the development of IRC’s donor relationships, including brokering meetings between donors and Regional and Technical Leadership, Country Directors, and supporting the preparation for these engagements.

Enabling cross organizational engagement with UK Govt
- Proactively identify and broker relationships with key UK FCDO officials and stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of donor strategies relevant to IRC’s work, such as funding priorities, geographical interests and political climate, providing analyses and synopses of press releases, policies and other announcements, and disseminating this information internally.
- Map donor organizational structure, identify key contacts and maintain relationship records in IRC’s CRM system.
- Maintain and contribute to the improvement of tools and resources to support donor engagement and relationship building with donors.
- Work with key staff across the organization to support UK business development planning and implementation, routinely engaging with operational BD teams at global, regional and country levels to review long term pipeline, plan strategic engagement and mitigate portfolio risk.
- Equip IRC staff with the skills, tools and information to manage local, or technical donor engagement, business development and implementation.

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

JOB PURPOSE:
CVS Brent is looking to recruit its next Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation and manage the implementation of programmes that enhance the capacity of voluntary and community organisations in the borough of Brent.
The incoming CEO will play a crucial role in leading CVS Brent through a pivotal transition period with a focus on stabilising the organisation and laying the groundwork for meaningful organisational change. CVS Brent is a dynamic and independent charity dedicated to supporting the diverse and vibrant voluntary sector in Brent. Through a range of services, including expert advice, professional training, and effective advocacy, we enable individuals and organisations in Brent to build the capacity necessary to meet the needs and aspirations of their communities through voluntary action. Located in an inner-city borough with a rich tradition of voluntary activity, we actively promote innovative approaches to working and foster relationships and partnerships between communities, local government, and health services.
This position is available on a pro-rata basis for 4-5 days.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
While no specific qualification is required, evidence of recent continuing professional development in areas such as management, leadership, or organisational culture is desired. Alternatively, equivalent work experience in a related field will be considered.

About Our Client
In September 2024 The One Touch Switching Company ("TOTSCo") launched a revolutionary way for UK customers to switch their broadband and landline provider. TOTSCo was founded by the UK telecoms industry in June 2022 to help to introduce the One Touch Switching (OTS) service that all telecom providers should now be using to make it much easier for their customers to switch. TOTSCo is a member-owned and not-for-profit company whose purpose is to develop and operate a messaging platform (The TOTSCo Hub) which is central to OTS.
TOTSCo will recover its costs by charging industry members for use of the hub, and the anticipated annual turnover of the company is between £6m and £7m. Job Description
The Head of Finance is a core member of the organisation's structure and is a strategic partner to the CEO in all areas of finance. Responsibilities will include:
1. Job Purpose
- The role reports to the Chief Executive Officer, and comes with membership of the Executive Committee.
- The HoF is responsible for all financial control, reporting, statutory compliance and forecasting.
2. Manage the following functions including those that are outsourced providers (external accountants and managed service partner):

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Philanthropic Programs Director, you will lead and keep developing AIM's Impactful Grantmaking training program and oversee our five funding circles. Your primary responsibility will be outreach, program facilitation, and hands-on philanthropic advising for the twice-annual 9-week cohorts of funders giving over $1M annually.
This is a fairly senior position with high stakes, a lot of potential for development, and outstandingly high potential for impact, and thus best suited to an individual with at a minimum 3-5 years of experience and some deep prior expertise in the philanthropic sector.
You will work closely with the Philanthropic Programs Manager in a two-person program team. You will decide collaboratively at the start of your tenure how to divide and/or share responsibilities in the categories below, as well as how to take care of operations and ad hoc tasks and projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Facilitation (~40%)

APPLICATION PROCESS
Our application processes aim to be highly predictive, time-effective, and informative for you. What we are trying to achieve: The twin crises of nature and climate emergencies have forced the Wildlife Trusts to rethink their role. Collectively, we have set out the new and ambitious Strategy 2030. Goal 1 of that strategy is to get nature into recovery with the Wildlife Trusts providing the leadership required to achieve 30 by 30: 30% of seas and land in nature’s recovery by 2030.
Nature’s recovery rests on five critical interventions: (1) the development of a nature recovery network; (2) creating landscape recovery areas at a scale where natural processes can operate to drive up species abundance; (3) regenerative agriculture; (4) green infrastructure threading through our towns, cities and countryside and, (5) at sea, an effective network of highly protected marine areas.

About the role
The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for executing Pro Bono Economics’ (PBE) fundraising strategy under the Director of Development’s guidance. This role focuses on increasing and diversifying income through building relationships with trusts, foundations, corporates, and high-net-worth individuals, while also securing funding for specific research projects in collaboration with the research team. The role includes managing donor engagement, overseeing grant applications, leading a small team, and ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations, all while maintaining operational oversight of the fundraising department.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Fundraising strategy implementation: Deliver PBE’s multi-year fundraising strategy to expand and diversify income from major donors, trusts and foundations, corporate partners and research institutions
- New business development: Identify and secure new funding opportunities, focusing on building sustainable partnerships.
- Research support: Collaborate with the research team to identify funding for specific research projects and submit tailored grant proposals.
- Donor engagement: Steward relationships with existing donors, ensuring renewals and funding upgrades.
- Bid writing & reports: Develop and write compelling grant applications, case for support documents and reports which communicate PBE’s services and research programmes.
- Departmental leadership: Support the Director of Development in managing budgets, resources, and a fundraising officer, ensuring team efficiency and future planning.
- Regulatory compliance: Ensure adherence to fundraising regulations and policies, including GDPR and safeguarding.
About you
Report directly to the Director of Development, the Head of Fundraising will have the following experience and skills.
Experience
- You have senior fundraising experience across a broad mix of income streams, a talent for building partnerships, bid writing and a strategic mindset.
- Experience working with research-driven organisations is a plus, as is familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce.
- You are happy to roll up your sleeves and spend as much time focused on immediate management and income priorities as you are on strategy and ideation.
- Will be suited to a senior fundraiser looking for their first Heads of role or someone who has already taken that step.
