· Someone that can lead the development of a Fundraising Supporter Journey strategy, to ensure we engage and retain our fundraisers and increase life-time value

· Someone who can work in a collaborative and influential way with colleagues, across multiple teams, to improve our understanding of our fundraisers and help embed a supporter-centric approach

· Someone who can utilise analytical skills, drive an insight-led approach and identify opportunities, trends and gaps to increase fundraiser engagement

About Us

Get Further is an award-winning charity that helps students from disadvantaged backgrounds secure essential English and maths qualifications. We support students in further education by providing specialist tuition, helping them progress into higher education, apprenticeships, and employment. Our programme has been proven to significantly improve student outcomes, with students on our programme more likely to improve by at least one grade compared to the national average.

To help more students get further, we are seeking a driven and passionate Head of Fundraising who will build relationships with major donors to the charity – especially Trusts and Foundations – to secure a significant portion of the charity’s income.

The successful candidate will report to the COO and focus on building meaningful, long-term relationships to secure 5-6 figure gifts over the coming years. You will proactively engage with prospective funders, write high-quality applications and deliver excellent supporter engagement, including tailored reports and case studies

About the Role

The Head of Fundraising will be a key member of our Senior Management Team (SMT) and take ownership of our Fundraising Strategy to support the diversification of our income. This role is vital to our future growth and sustainability, and an opportunity to lead an exciting part of the charity which makes a real difference to the students we support.

Strategy and Leadership

• Lead the delivery of our fundraising strategy in line with our current organisational strategy which runs from 2024-2029. 
• Lead on the management of key information about Get Further’s fundraising activity and ensure it is stored appropriately, well organised and with high attention to detail. This will include supporting the transition of the fundraising function onto Salesforce.
• Prepare fundraising update reports for the Finance and Risk Committee and the Board of Trustees as required.
• Contribute to and attend internal/external events on behalf of Get Further as required.

Fundraising and Stakeholder Engagement

• Lead the core fundraising activities, including line managing our Fundraising Officer. This includes developing an in-depth understanding of existing and potential supporters to provide tailored relationship management, including engagement opportunities, to meet significant targets over multiple years.
• Support the Fundraising Officer to identify new prospects, in particular, charitable trusts and foundations that have the potential to support Get Further for the first time. You will effectively qualify and engage with prospects to build a pipeline for the coming years, matching prospects with appropriate asks.
• Oversee and write compelling applications for funding that are tailored to each recipient and make a convincing case for how their support with help more young people achieve their gateway qualifications.
• Lead on ensuring all supporters and donors receive updates and reports within the required timeframes and that these are crafted with impact data and case studies to ensure maximum stakeholder engagement.

Team Management and Collaboration

• Provide effective line management of our Fundraising Officer to support their personal development and successful delivery of their role.
• Work closely with the COO to develop budgets to accompany applications and provide financial reports to funders and partners.
• Work closely with the Impact Team to develop efficient processes for impact reporting to funders.
• Support the COO to ensure that policies relating to fundraising are up to date and fit for purpose.
• Provide expertise to the Senior Management Team on philanthropic opportunities and ensure fundraising is conducted in line with the relevant legislation and the Code of Fundraising Practice.

This is a hybrid role. You will be working from home with IT provided and join Team Together Days in a co-working space in London 2-3 individual days each month. About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Reprieve’s dynamic Development Team to secure vital funding to power our high-impact human rights work. Working across both Reprieve and Reprieve US, you will make a real impact by focusing on Major Donors, corporate partnerships, and events. Length and Salary

This is a full-time role, on a one-year fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend, subject to funding. The annual salary is £42,193 per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance. 

This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work two days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. Applicants must have the current right to work in the UK, which will be checked prior to interview.

Your presence is important during core office hours, whether remotely or in the office. You will also be available outside of office hours in the event of an emergency, for example case developments that require urgent action. We are seeking to recruit a highly skilled Key Worker for our Key Worker Service in East Berkshire. The role will be diverse and service user centred and would suit someone with significant experience in supporting young people and young adults with Autism and Learning Disabilities and their families.

The day to day work will involve a flexible approach to coordination and direct support for the young person and their family, as well as providing responsive communication at times of increased need. This is an exciting role which allows for the Key Worker to support families to navigate the system whilst advocating for them and ensuring that their voice is heard.

There will be opportunities for collaboration and co-production and our vision is to provide young person and family centered support, whilst influencing system change to achieve better outcomes for more children,  young people and adults under the age of 25.

The service will be provided across the entire East Berkshire footprint covering: Slough, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Bracknell Forest.Although the team will be “virtual”, there will be frequent (weekly) travel within and across the East Berkshire area, therefore being a car driver with access to a car is essential, as well as being based near the local area. 

The Key Working Function has been developed as a response to the NHS England & NHS Improvement Long Term Plan (LTP) commitment that by 2023/24, children and young people with a learning disability, autism, or both, with the most complex needs will have a designated Key Worker, applying the recommendations made by Dame Christine Lenehan in ‘These are our Children'. The East Berkshire Key Worker Service has been established since 2023 and has developed and evolved over this time. 

We are looking for someone who:

• has significant experience of working with individuals with Learning Disabilities and/or who are Autistic and their families.
• has an understanding of mental health and how this may impact this service user group

About the Bid Manager and Write Role: 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bid Manager and Writer to join our dynamic Bid Team within the Development, Marketing, and Communications Department. This role is critical to driving our growth, securing new opportunities, and retaining existing contracts.

In this hands on role, you will hit the ground running, using your previous experience and knowledge to gather information and will utilise this to write competitive bids and proposals which can help secure new opportunities for the growth of our charity. SIG is a complex, growing organisation, supporting those with various complex needs in residential and non residential settings. Our Business Development team are vital in securing new and existing contracts to grow the services that we can offer to our residents and participants.

You will lead on competitive tendering processes, crafting high-quality bids and proposals that align with our mission and values. You will take ownership of the end-to-end bid process, from market engagement to submission, ensuring compliance and quality at every stage. You will work closely with senior directors, commissioners, and internal stakeholders to develop compelling submissions that meet financial targets and organisational goals. You will work independently but also part of the wider bid team, collaborating with subject matter experts as required.

Our new Fundraising Manager will work closely with the Board of Trustees, CEO and Senior Leadership Team to scale our impact and expand our reach. Role Context and Purpose

Following recent and projected growth of the organisation, Gaddum is looking to recruit additional resource within the Central team to bolster its support to the organisation, ensuring it delivers safe and high quality services.

The post holder, line managed by the Finance and Resources Director, will join the Finance Assistant and Central Services Coordinator in providing additional resource to the centralised function. Main Duties and Responsibilities

Management and delivery of Gaddum’s monthly payroll for all employees:

- Collating information and inputting into company system
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries including adding new starters, processing leavers, and any other contractual changes

Management of pension scheme:

- Ensuring compliance with auto-enrolment pension
- Adding new starters and processing leavers with the pension provider along with any changes that might impact pension
- Updating pension provider with any monthly contributions

The Role

Sightsavers is looking for a Legacy Manager - a vital role within our in-house Legacy team to manage and operate the administration of all legacies received by Sightsavers

The team mostly work from home however, our expectation is that we will need the successful candidate to be able to travel to the offices in Haywards Heath, West Sussex (RH16 3BW) at least once per quarter but there is also the option to work in the office for three days per week, working the other two days from home. Overall Purpose

The Office Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Foundation. This role is responsible for maintaining and developing administrative systems, both manual and digital, while supporting all core functions, including executive board, grant-making, fund development, and finance. Acting as the central support for the team, the role ensures internal processes run effectively by managing key administrative tasks and coordinating internal and external meetings. Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to all staff of the foundation.

Manage the administration of information systems, including filing and database management.

Type and word-process documents and letters as required.

Undertake routine collation of information relating to the foundation’s services.

Office Coordination & Communication 

Serve as the first point of contact for incoming phone calls and emails, greeting and assisting visitors, and overseeing the handling of incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.

Contacting individuals and groups by telephone when clarification or further information is required.

Provide customer service support when necessary.

Administer and keep up to date the contacts database and formal records or organisations the foundation works with.

Enter details of applications and donors into CRM systems.

Maintain and develop communication with affiliated and other voluntary groups, including supporting networking events.

Provide administrative support to the Chair of Trustees as required, ensuring they have the necessary documentation, scheduling support, and other assistance to fulfil their role effectively.

Representing BLCF

Work as an effective Ambassador for the Foundation always, including at events and external networking.

Experience

Demonstrable experience of using online file managements systems (e.g. SharePoint) to manage data and information relating to an organisations core systems, policies and processes.

The Community Connector will support people with serious mental illness (SMI) to achieve better health and wellbeing, increase independence and reduce reliance on services.
 
Key to this role is person-centred support and building trusted relationships. The Community Connector will connect people to a broad range of services and interventions in their local area, supporting and empowering people to access opportunities and take positive steps to improve their mental health recovery goals.
 
The Community Connector will support people through:

• One-to-one-person centred support focussing on what matters to the individual
• Addressing the social determinants of health, such as education, employability and social welfare advice.
• Opportunities to build social connections within their local communities, fostering engagement in fun and meaningful activities.
• Emotional support to build resilience and confidence.
• Guidance on navigating and accessing wider support services.

The Community Connector will be embedded in the Bromley by Bow Centre’s Social Prescribing service, utilising their experience and support. It will work with a wider team of voluntary sector, primary care and secondary care staff in the Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT).

The role is funded by NHS East London Foundation Trust (ELFT) and managed by the Bromley by Bow Centre. There are a team of Community Connectors as part of a wider transformation programme in East London to redesign community mental health care for adults with serious mental illness in Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Newham.
