Role Purpose
Foyers are transformational living and learning environments for young people who can’t live at home, where they can realise their power and purpose. However, access to high quality learning opportunities and progression routes can be sparse, and funding for learning in Foyers has been significantly reduced. Our vision is to build a creative learning and development environment that is shaped by the Foyer community and is accessible to any young person in a Foyer.
Our Advantaged Thinking Learning Community (ATLC) framework and digital Learning Management System (LMS) will provide an environment for young people to thrive, with space for collaboration, learning and personal development in a supportive community they can help to build. We are co-creating a bank of accessible and engaging learning materials, embracing existing learning programmes in Foyers while stimulating new approaches by creating a ‘living curriculum’ that remains relevant to people’s aspirations.
In spring 2025, we will be launching the ATLC across our network of youth Foyers, adding to our existing offer of programmes, training and events. Your Role
We are seeking a Senior Communications & PR Leader to drive impactful internal and external communications and strengthen our global network. You will be responsible for developing and executing a dynamic communications strategy while building strong relationships with media partners to raise awareness of our global alliance and its achievements. This is a hands-on role ideal for a candidate who excels at strategic thinking but is also comfortable with content creation using own copywriting and visual skills, as well as guiding other content creators from volunteering partners.
We are looking for someone who shares the DfG mission, has a passion for storytelling, and excels at strategising and delivering innovative communication and PR initiatives. Additionally, the ideal candidate will also possess exceptional communication skills to engage effectively within our global network, connecting diverse audiences and their communication departments. Key Responsibilities:
- Communication Strategy: Develop and implement a communications strategy to elevate DfG’s global visibility and impact.
- Public Relations & Branding: Build and strengthen relationships with press contacts, and public relations partners to expand DfG’s reach. Enhance and promote our brand to ensure consistent messaging and representation.
- Content Development: Lead and create content for various channels, including the website, social media, events, annual reviews, and press releases
- Content Execution: Plan, coordinate, and deliver communication activities in partnership with alliance communication leads and external partners.
Key Requirements:
- Passion for DfG's mission to improve life through design
- Senior-level experience in communications, and public relations ideally in an NGO, charity or mission-driven organisation.
- Strong public relations network and a proven track record of securing media coverage for a global organisation.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, with strong storytelling abilities (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work independently while motivating and collaborating with colleagues and partners globally.

The role of Communications and Marketing Coordinator sits within the Communications Team at Kids Matter. Our energy work is directed by our Consumer Power strategy, which guides our focus on putting people at the centre of a fast, fair & accountable energy transition under four pillars of action: securing energy consumer rights; sharing the benefits of a fair and affordable transition; empowering prosumers; and amplifying consumer voice in energy policy. Purpose of the role
The overall purpose of this role is to support the Lead for Consumers in the Energy System, in delivering research, analysis and global advocacy on the topic of clean energy futures and generally contributing to building our impact under our Consumer Power strategy. The Coordinator will focus on supporting implementation of a variety of new projects, for example:
- Through our “Exploring Energy Consumer Voice in the Clean Energy Transition” project, we are collecting and analysing examples of successful consumer voice campaigns and will showcase action by consumer organizations across multiple countries to drive forward the clean energy transition. This work aims to empower consumer representatives with a strong voice in clean energy transition dialogue.
- In our “Blueprint for Inclusive Energy Services” project, we are working with businesses to explore energy consumer vulnerabilities and develop innovative, tailored services that can assist most vulnerable customers to access and afford the energy they need to support their wellbeing.
This is a varied role that will involve collaborating across Consumers International’s teams and working with external partners to support project management and assist with research, report writing and stakeholder engagement. The role will include supporting the Lead with direct communication to external stakeholders such as businesses, governments, subject matter experts and wider civil society, and working with our Member Engagement Lead to liaise with our consumer advocacy group Members.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate the implementation of clean energy futures projects. This will include managing the project plans and signalling the timelines for project deliverables, as well as assisting with engagement with a wide group of project partners to gather their inputs and feedback and keep them updated on project progress.
- Support the Lead in conducting research and analysis to support the development of proposals, reports and events relating to clean energy for consumers.
- Work with Consumers International’s members and partners to gather examples and insights to inform the development of our analysis and outputs, in particular for the “Exploring Energy Consumer Voice in the Clean Energy Transition” project, and on clean energy futures more broadly.
- Draft, provide input to, and disseminate communications (e.g. meeting minutes, research reports, topic briefings) to project stakeholders, ensuring accurate, timely and appropriate communications.
- Support organisation of in-person and online stakeholder workshops or meetings including supporting the development of agendas, invite lists and online and in-person logistical arrangements such as coordinating travel for staff and speakers and delegates attending the events. This may include both project-related meetings and representation at other events and high-level global moments such as COP30.
- Contribute your thoughts and ideas to development and delivery of the clean energy futures work programme and strategy.
- Support the communication of activities and decisions internally on clean energy futures so that all staff are informed and engaged in our work.
Patient Empowerment Co-ordinator

Antibiotic Research UK (ANTRUK) is the UK patient organisation for people impacted by antibiotic and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Our legitimacy to advocate for change, with policy makers and NHS organisations, comes from our small-scale research projects, our engagement with patients and their families, and from our direct support of patients through our information service and peer-support activities.

- CIH Level 4 qualification in Housing or degree in a related discipline (e.g., Housing, Property Management, Social Policy) OR A minimum of two years’ relevant experience in a housing-related role with a commitment to obtaining a CIH Level 4 qualification within an agreed timeframe.
- Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the operation and regulation of the private rented sector in Northern Ireland, including landlord responsibilities and tenant rights.
- Show a strong understanding of housing supply and availability in Northern Ireland, particularly in relation to social housing, the private rented sector, and people at risk of homelessness. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and other stakeholders.
- Hold a full, clean driving licence (or alternative means of travel if a disability prevents driving), as regular travel across Northern Ireland will be essential.
Desirable Criteria:
- A Level 5 or above CIH qualification in Housing or a postgraduate degree in a related field such as Property Management, Housing Policy, or Social Work.
- Previous experience working with individuals at risk of or transitioning out of homelessness, particularly in a supported housing or tenancy sustainment role.
- Familiarity with social housing allocation systems in Northern Ireland, including the Common Selection Scheme.
- Familiarity with housing or property management systems and strong IT skills for record-keeping and reporting.

The role
SAFE! Support for Young People Affected by Crime is a dynamic Oxford based charity working across the Thames Valley. We are looking for experienced practitioners based in South Bucks and the surrounding areas to provide support on a freelance basis to young people and parents/caregivers across all our services. Subcontracted sessional practitioners are contracted on a freelance basis to provide one-to-one support to young people and their parents. There are also opportunities to co-facilitate group work. Sessions may be delivered remotely or face to face, dependent upon the needs of clients. Freelancers are home-based practitioners who travel to meet young people and /or parents face-to-face (within a 25-mile radius), provide remote support online, or a combination of both.
SAFE! Subcontracted Sessional Practitioners
Locations: Buckinghamshire, we are particularly keen to recruit freelancers based in Wycombe and South Bucks areas.
Payment: Practitioners submit invoices monthly and are paid at a rate of £25 per hour for admin and delivery and £10 per hour for travel time. They are liable for all tax and expenses.

The post holder will be a source of support and expertise to Helpline Volunteers during a shift, providing emotional support and signposting options to bereaved people in their initial contact with Cruse Bereavement Support, (in call / Email / Casework). Support ongoing growth and development of the helpline through call monitoring, onboarding new volunteers and implementation of the Quality framework.
Working alongside the Helpline Service Manager, the role will support the development and growth of the helpline.
This role will be working closely with a Project Team in Cruse who are managing our Southern Gas Network (SGN) partnership. We would like this role to participate in the development of the partnership to ensure effective rollout within our National Helpline. This would require you to attend National Energy Action (NEA) Fuel Debt Advice in the Community Training and become the point of contact for the National Helpline staff and volunteers for SGN related queries.
Due to the nature of the role, you would be expected to work flexibly on a shift basis (with availability to work between 9am and 8:15pm), including some Bank Holidays.

Network Services Co-ordinators play a critical role in the delivery of central services to food banks in Trussell’s network. The Network Services teams fulfils three vital functions for Trussell; answering public and food bank enquiries, delivering projects for food bank operations, and providing guidance and training on food bank facing platforms. Stargardt's Connected is a unique award-winning charity supporting those with the rare sight loss condition Stargardt's Disease. Our mission is raising awareness, giving support and seeking a cure. The following are the range of duties you will be asked to contribute to and would be undertaken dependent on priorities and capacity.
● Manage the Charity’s email inboxes, responding to communications from the Stargardt’s Community, volunteers, external partners, and third parties. Triage messages, escalate to the CEO when necessary, and develop responses with appropriate signposting to information and support.
● Represent the Charity at various in-person events alongside the CEO, including Stargardt’s Connected events (e.g. annual conference, summer picnic) and external events (e.g., Sight Village, fundraising events, other sight loss charity events).
● Assist the CEO in developing content for presentations, articles, and resources for the Charity.
● Co-ordinate the development and dissemination of the Stargardt’s Connected e-newsletter via Mailchimp, collaborating with the CEO to gather and create content.
● Co-ordinate the Charity’s social media channels (X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn), ensuring timely posting of news and updates, building a following, and responding to comments and direct messages, escalating to the CEO as needed.
● Oversee the Charity’s Zoom account, including setting up and helping to run online meetings for Community events, Trustee meetings, and ad-hoc meetings with external partners.

Working in underrepresented areas with people with cancer impacted by health inequalities to create community resource hub spaces where they can learn about the benefits of physical activity for people impacted by cancer. Understanding barriers, overcoming barriers, and engaging and educating community health staff and community groups around physical activity. Develop workshops and resources to raise awareness among community health staff and community groups about the benefits of physical activity for people affected by cancer. Provide community staff, healthcare professionals and volunteers with tools and strategies to encourage and empower community groups to adopt active lifestyles. Provide follow up opportunities for community groups to ask questions and discuss any concerns related to physical activity.
Creating Online and Community Resources
Develop online educational resources, such as guides, videos and FAQs, to inform community groups about the benefits of physical activity and address common questions. Create accessible, culturally relevant digital materials that can be shared widely with community partners and used by staff to engage their communities. Collaborate with MOVE’s marketing and digital team to ensure online resources are easy to access and visually engaging. Identify and create additional resources that can benefit 5k Your Way and MOVE 8 Week Programme participants and ensure they are accessible.
Supporting 5k Your Way Groups
Support 5k Your Way groups that are struggling to grow and develop. Ensure groups are inclusive, culturally sensitive and meet the unique needs of people impacted by cancer and their communities. Partnership working Build and maintain partnerships with local organisations, healthcare providers and community groups to enhance the resources available to participants. Collaborate with community staff to establish or connect with 5k Your Way groups.
Support MOVE’s reporting and EDI work
Working across teams to support people impacted by cancer, including our cancer rehab team. Track and evaluate programme success by collecting data on attendance, engagement and participant satisfaction. Regularly gather and analyse feedback from community groups, staff and volunteers to continuously improve the programmes. Prepare reports to share insights and outcomes with MOVE and funders.
