This is a challenging role that will provide you with the ability to become involved in a variety of HR initiatives to ensure that YMCA England & Wales achieves its strategic goals.
You will be expected to travel extensively throughout the West of England and Wales including overnight stays, and will be provided with a company car.
You will be required to have multi-site experience.
You will be responsible for managing complex casework including disciplinary and capability processes, absence management and right to work issues. Experience of developing policies, coaching managers and project management are also necessary for this role.
You will be exposed to a fast paced, varied and exciting role, with opportunities to get involved in new initiatives, within a dynamic team.

About the Role
The Outcomes Star touches many aspects of service delivery, from interactions with clients and practitioner skills to supervision and strategic decisions. Facilitating learning through training is a key aspect of the organisations work and is essential to the effective implementation of the Star. Key duties and responsibilities
The post holder will:
As a skilled relationship officer, you'll work with your manager to provide first-rate partnership management, developing creative fundraising and engagement plans to excite and inspire your team. -Develop and implement a fundraising and engagement plan to maximise income and added value over the course of partnerships, deliver donor-focused stewardship so partners want to stay with Mind.
-Collaborate with internal teams to maximise potential and deliver mutually beneficial partnerships, e.g. communications, celebrities and PR, pro bono, and gift in kind, lived experience, finance, events, services, and wider engagement.
-Adapt and promote Mind's core campaigns and activities to partners to engage partners with our cause and deliver excellent stewardship, working with the Planning and Development team.

About The Role
The Social Mobility and Widening Participation Senior Officer is a vital member of the department. The post-holder will lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of sustained outreach initiatives. This role will co-lead on the delivery of K+, supporting participants on our arts, humanities and social science pathways. K+ is King’s flagship widening participation programme for sixth form and college students. This will involve working collaboratively with schools and teachers within Greater London and King’s target regions, King’s faculties and with corporate and charity partners.

Since our inception, we have undergone significant changes, transitioning from a single centre with a small team to a more complex operation offering various services, including a 14-bed emergency accommodation facility and a women’s centre. About the role.
We now seek a values-led CEO to play a pivotal role in steering The Foxton Centre through the next phase of its development.
As CEO, you will work with our committed board and dedicated staff team to continue reaching many people on the margins of city life from our local community bases.
Our new CEO should be ambitious and want to help develop our strategic approach to support. With strong operational experience from the third sector, we seek a leader with a proven track record of partnerships, change management and, most of all, a personal commitment to the mission of The Foxton Centre.
You will work with the Board of Trustees to develop and implement the organisation’s business plan and strategy, ensuring sustainability, growth, and success and providing dynamic leadership particularly with regards future development opportunities in the area of homeless and housing. Additionally our Youth and Women’s services remain a priority.

We are seeking an experienced Head of Policy Research to join our team. The Pensions Policy Institute (PPI) is an educational research institute established to help improve later life outcomes. Responsibilities
- Leading the research team, managing the resources and interaction with the modelling team
- Managing relevant external research associates, brought in from time to time to complete projects
- Generating input into the overall research plan with ideas for new areas of research
- Producing scopes and bids and working with external sources to secure project funding
- Building relationships with others in the academic community and Government
- Representing the PPI at events and conferences, and in discussions with Government, the pensions industry and other stakeholders.
- The management and production of PPI research projects:
- To ensure the timely delivery of quality outputs from the policy researchers and relevant research associates
- From time to time, subject to workload: to research and draft PPI publications including conducting literature reviews and desk-based research, analysing and interpreting data from a policy perspective, developing conclusions from analysis, presenting data and report writing
- To participate in discussion groups and seminars on pensions policy issues and contribute to developing the PPI’s research agenda and profile.

Essential skills:
- A working knowledge of the UK pension system (or the ability to acquire this knowledge quickly) or work experience in social policy research.

- Proven ability to interpret statistics/ modelling results (the candidate is not expected to undertake modelling or handle large data sets themselves).
- Excellent report-writing and data presentation skills, drafting for public, or non-technical, readers in plain English.
- Experience of presenting research findings in seminars or conferences.
- Management of a small team of professionals.
- Good project management, organisational an time management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and leadership skills and demonstrable team player qualities.
- The capability to work independently.

Location
We are a hybrid organisation and operate a remote working policy which means staff spend some time working in the office and some time working remotely. As most of our audiences and sponsors are mainly based in London, there will be a strong case for the successful candidate being London based, or able to come to London as frequently as required. We therefore anticipate that the normal place of work will be at the PPI office in Central London.
