Main duties:
Support the CEO in all aspects of their role to ensure their agenda, priorities and objectives are met including
Strategic inbox and diary management; workload management; coordinating and minuting meetings, ensuring the CEO is fully briefed; ensuring action points are logged and completed
Act as an effective gatekeeper to the CEO and Chair
Work closely with the CEO and Board on the Governance needs of the organisation, including compiling Board papers and taking and maintaining minutes and other key Governance documents
Create and maintain systems to track operational work across the organisation against strategic goals and ensure regular reporting of key organisational KPIs
Be an informed key contact for the CEO and Senior Management team and handle internal and external enquiries in a professional manner, liaising with key contacts from corporate, political, media, non-governmental organisations and other networks
Coordinate key meetings for the Board and its sub-committees as well as preparing agendas, information packs and CEO reports for Trustee meetings and minuting these meetings
Undertake research and project management related to the programmes and activities of the CEO as directed, providing summaries and briefings on key documents as well as leading on project work as needed.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Fundraising Officer. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our fundraising efforts to advance our impact in supporting care experienced people.
The Fundraising Assistant will work closely with the Fundraiser to execute various administrative and operational fundraising activities, manage donor relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our fundraising initiatives.
We’re looking for someone with great people skills, as well as drive, initiative, and determination. You’ll excel in communication, both face-to-face and in writing, with a knack for crafting persuasive funding proposals tailored to various stakeholders. Prospect Research:
Conduct research on prospective donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations, to identify new funding opportunities and support donor cultivation efforts.
Communication:
Conduct research and develop compelling fundraising proposals for trusts, foundations, corporations, and individuals. Assist in creating and distributing engaging fundraising materials, including appeal letters, newsletters, and social media content, to captivate donors and promote our fundraising initiatives.
Donor Management:
Assist in maintaining donor records, including contact information, donation history, and communication preferences, using a CRM database.
Donation Processing:
Process donations, issue acknowledgment letters, and ensure accurate recording of donations in the database.
Fundraising Campaign Support:
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising campaigns and events, including mailings, online fundraising initiatives, and donor appreciation events.
Grant Administration:
Assist in the preparation of grant proposals, reports, and other grant-related materials, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and deadlines.
Reporting:
Generate reports on fundraising activities, donor trends, and campaign outcomes to track progress and inform decision-making.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to the Fundraiser, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing correspondence.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with staff across departments to integrate fundraising efforts with other organizational activities and initiatives.
Strategic:
Work closely with the Fundraiser to develop and implement the charity’s fundraising and income development strategy.

The Grassroots Development Officer will be responsible for providing a wide range of organisational development support services and activities to assist grassroots VCSE organisations to develop, thrive and remain sustainable. Head of Social Impact
This role will report to the strategy and partnerships director and will work closely with the research and policy director and political director, as well as other members of the senior management team, heads of teams and the wider staff.
Key tasks and responsibilities
Ensuring social impact is considered across our work
- Maintain Green Alliance’s reputation as a respected thought leader on climate and nature issues by leading and supporting the development and delivery of high quality strategies to secure impact in the environmental / health policy intersection. This may include research and policy development, political advocacy strategies and communications work.
- Advise colleagues on the narratives, framings and relationships that we should build in order to further our goals and use skills and experience to help build these. Use your networks to help us land our work with impact involving the right partners.
- Work with theme leads and the senior management team to design research plans that will ensure we are considering the distributional and other impacts our policy recommendations would have for different parts of society.
- Engage business, unions and other stakeholders to strengthen Green Alliance’s insights, political advocacy and communications work.

About the role
The Programmes Administrator will be in charge of the smooth running of 1MM Mentoring Programmes in Greater Manchester and other regions, including the supporting of mentors & mentees through their journey. By ensuring a fast and effective onboarding process, timely communication, and ongoing support for our participants the Programmes Administrator will assist Regional Managers and/or the Head of Delivery with maximising the positive impact of 1MM’s mentoring programmes. About The Role
The Social Mobility and Widening Participation Senior Officer is a vital member of the department. The post-holder will lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of sustained outreach initiatives. They will also be involved in a range of other challenging projects run across the Social Mobility and Widening Participation Department.
This role will co-lead on the delivery of K+, supporting participants on our arts, humanities and social science pathways. K+ is King’s flagship widening participation programme for sixth form and college students. The post-holder will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive range of events for Year 12 participants as part of non-residential Spring and Summer Schools. This will involve working collaboratively with schools and teachers within Greater London and King’s target regions, King’s faculties and with corporate and charity partners.
The post holder will work closely with the wider Post-16 Programmes team, student ambassadors and key partner staff. This role is responsible to the Social Mobility and Widening Participation Manager.
