The Smart Works service is delivered in London, Manchester, Stockport, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Newcastle, Reading and Leeds. Over the past eleven years, Smart Works has helped over 40,000 women. It is our mission that any woman who needs our service should be able to find her way to a Smart Works centre.
In April 2022, Smart Works launched a Three-Year Plan that will see the charity double the number of women helped annually from 5,000 to 10,000 women a year. We are on track to achieve this by expanding the reach of our existing centres and opening new centres in areas of need including Bristol; set to open in early 2025.
About this role
The South London Service Delivery Manager will oversee all activities within our Croydon centre, ensuring there is a vibrant, friendly environment where all feel welcome and able to be themselves.
As the face of our South London service, the appointed candidate will ensure Smart Works is embedded in the local community, with a steady stream of clients being referred to Smart Works for dressing and coaching appointments.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a track record of building strong relationships, successfully managing a space or centre and an ability to make things happen. Our ideal candidate will share our passion for helping clients succeed, believe in the power of volunteering and will be a real people-person, who will enjoy meeting new people every day.
The Service Delivery Manager must be a natural relationship builder, who is a confident public speaker. They will also be organised, an excellent multi-tasker and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. East London Rape Crisis provides free, confidential specialist support for women and girls who have been raped or experienced any other form of sexual violence or abuse at any time in their lives, regardless of whether or not they have reported to the police. We offer confidential and independent support. Services include advocacy, emotional and practical support, one-to-one counselling and group work.
About the post
The Brief Interim ISVA provides proactive short-term support and advocacy service (up to 3 months) to female survivors of sexual violence who are engaging with the criminal justice system. This role will address a gap in the current sexual violence infrastructure, to ensure that more survivors who require rapid support and advice are able to receive this in a timely manner. You will work as part of a growing Feminist Rape Crisis service that is developing to meet the needs of women and girls. This post involves travel across East London, and a hybrid model of home and office working from our sites in Islington and Dagenham Heathway.

About the role:
This role is a hybrid post and your location will be Dyfed Powys Police Headquarters in Carmarthen.
As a Triage & Early Intervention Officer you will:
- Directly support victims affected by crime & ensure the provision of tailored one-to-one support

As a IDVA LGBTQIA Specialist Lead you will be
- Providing pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic violence and abuse through on-going risk assessment, individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
- Primarily supporting victims from the LGBTQIA community affected by domestic abuse
- To work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse
- Work with survivors and other agencies to monitor the care pathway.

About the role:
This role is based at our National Contact Centre in Cardiff.
As a Helpline Adviser you will be: -
- Able to respond to victims of and those affected by crime by providing support, information and referral on to Victim Support services and other agencies
- Providing immediate support, advice and trauma first aid referrals to victims of and those affected by major incidents and terrorism.

About the role
At a time of growth and of new opportunities for the Motability Foundation, we are looking for a Public Affairs Manager to join our Communications Team and lead our Public Affairs activity for the organisation.
Our vision is to fund, support, research, and innovate, so all disabled people can make the journeys they choose. There are an estimated 16 million disabled people in the UK, and this role will play a crucial part in our work to raise awareness of the work of the Motability Foundation, amplify the voices of disabled people and to influence policy.
·This new role will work alongside our new Evidence and Policy Manager, based in our Innovation team, and other colleagues across the organization as well as key partners (Motability Operations), to manage our horizon scanning and monitoring of the political landscape, leading on advising our Governors, CEO and senior management team on actions we need to take, and preparing detailed briefings for engagements, and events with Parliamentarians and senior Ministers. The role holder will develop, implement and lead our Public Affairs and Government Engagement Plan, and proactively identify and develop opportunities to influence and shape policy where it may have a positive impact for disabled people.
With a General Election and potential welfare reform on the horizon, this role is especially important and experience in creating and implementing post-election public affairs strategies, leading activities across the team and devising and managing structured results reporting to the organisation, is highly desirable.
What you will be doing
- Develop, implement and manage our public affairs strategy, leading on public affairs activities aligned with the Motability Foundation’s vision and overall strategy.
- Amplify the Motability Foundation’s voice in Parliament, across the devolved nations, and in political spheres, building, developing and managing relationships with parliamentarians, decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Manage our horizon scanning and monitoring of the political, legislative and regulatory landscape in relation to the work of the Motability Foundation, leading on advising the business on actions we need to take.
- Provide sharp political intelligence, insight, advice and briefings for Governors, directors, senior management and a variety of audiences across the organization.
- Support the establishment of the Motability Foundation’s policy positions and delivering our influencing objectives.

Your experience
Must haves:

Working with FareShare UK, we help unlock good food from a wide variety of national and local food suppliers, food that otherwise would have gone in the bin. The Role
This is a role in which you can make a difference to the spiritual lives of all the communities across the three counties comprising the Diocese of Oxford. In leading the largest department within Church House, you will be blessed with a vibrant and highly skilled group of lay and ordained members whose focus is to serve the mission and ministry of the local church and the Diocese. About You
Theologically literate, lay or ordained, your passion for shared ministry manifests in a positive understanding of the role of both lay and ordained ministry in the Anglican Church. Your experience as a Church of England leader includes identifying and scaling-up opportunities for enhanced mission and setting and implementing strategic direction. This is grounded in excellent leadership and management skills and experience. Able to relate generously and positively to those of theological traditions other than your own, you are an adept communicator who will build and sustain strong working relationships across area teams, parishes, colleagues and other dioceses to ensure the department has the maximum possible positive impact across the diocese.

About MammaKind
MammaKind alleviates hardship for mums with young children living in poverty across Greenwich, Lewisham, Bromley, and Bexley. We gather new and pre-loved donations of clothing, toiletries, and equipment, distributing them through a network of over 100 referral partners, including NHS professionals, local councils, and charities. In 2023, we supported 2,677 individuals, including 1,519 children across 917 families with donations valued at £809,854.
Driven by a dedicated group of parent volunteers focused on reducing child poverty, MammaKind envisions a capital where every child has access to the essential items necessary for thriving.
Purpose of Role
Regifting pre-loved and new baby equipment, clothes, and toys to families in poverty is at the heart of what we do.
The warehouse manager plays a pivotal role managing the warehouse and volunteers to streamline the donation process, ensuring safety, compliance, and effective stock management from donation intake to distribution. Working towards our overall organisational goals of supporting as many children as possible.
Key Tasks and Accountabilities
Warehouse management:
· Warehouse layout and organisation, to ensure that the donation and referral process is as efficient as possible.
· Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy and compliant with health & safety legislation.
· Responsible for adherence to agreed Health & Safety policy in the warehouse, including responsibility for volunteer health & safety induction and their safety whilst on site.
· Managing warehouse budget (cleaning, maintenance) and contractor liaison for maintenance issues.
· Responsible for facilities management and one of the designated key holders for the warehouse.
· Expected to be based in the warehouse 5 days per week between 09.30 and 16.30.
Stock management.
· Ownership of the lifecycle of MammaKind’s stock from start to finish.
· Directing strategy for donations and targeted donation drives/providing guidance to social media channels to ensure that we are trying to obtain the goods we need and not those we don’t.
· Managing incoming donations (which arrive in volatile quantities): checking donated equipment. Ensuring the quality and compliance of donations meets MammaKind’s high standard.
· Liaison with Referrals Manager to ensure that warehouse is appropriately stocked for forthcoming referrals.
· Keeping records of stock levels to ensure that stock of particular items does not fall too low or rise too high.
· Buying of stock to replenish essentials (including collection of stock from suppliers), managing to agreed budgets.
· Download and print manuals for items to be sent to clients, creating instructions where no instructions are available online.
- Driving a delivery van to and from multiple sites moving equipment and stock. Unload and loading delivery van, sorting and placing items on to racks, and shelves and using trollies to move kit around.
- On occasion delivering referrals to referral partners and emergency referrals.
Volunteer Management
· Weekly co-ordination of volunteers for warehouse sessions (sorting and creating bundles for clients).
· Planning and organisation of volunteer sessions in terms of task management (to ensure stock levels are optimally maintained).
· Manage volunteers, ensuring they understand tasks, work to the standard of their training and to MammaKind’s standards. Serve as the point of contact for volunteer queries during sessions.
· Manage volunteer drivers with loading and despatch schedules such as arranging collections of donations and refuse centre trips.
· Coordinate with the Referral Manager and Head of Operations to manage stock levels. Using Salesforce data to determine core stock levels.
Operational Support:
· Actively foster an inclusive and supportive workplace culture in line with MammaKind’s values.
· Provide reports of donations to the Head of Operations and collaborate closely to refine and enhance processes as needed.
· Work closely with the Referral Manager & Head of Operations to ensure the smooth running of weekly activities, to ensure any priorities for that week are completed and any outstanding tasks are communicated to the Head of Operations.
· Monthly reporting against budget to Head of Operations.
· Represent MammaKind at community events as needed, including occasional Saturday Big Sorts.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
MARKETING & DESIGN
- Lead impactful marketing campaigns, from concept to execution, across multiple channels.
- Monitor campaign progress, analyse data, and implement strategies to boost engagement and conversion.
· Manage Google AdWords – develop and optimise our AdWords campaigns.
- Develop innovative approaches to increase brand awareness and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Volunteering, Delivery and Fundraising to create integrated campaigns for those areas.

· Draft and coordinate content for, and manage the creation of, a quarterly newsletter to our list of subscribers.
· Act as brand custodian for the charity – ensuring staff and partners are adhering to Brand Guidelines.
COMMUNICATIONS
· Monitor all Marcomms channels including the website for engagement and activity – keeping a record and producing a quarterly report.
· Be responsible for the Charity’s website, working with our external digital partner to maintain and develop content and functionality and improve accessibility and reach.
· Collaborate with our delivery and volunteer team to co-create “on-the- ground” content from our projects each month (images, GIFs, video, copy) for publishing across our social media channels.
· Manage a monthly digital content plan – developing and scheduling content according to key dates in the calendar, posting to relevant channels (additional support of 4 hours per week is provided).
· Be the first port of call for the media, passing calls on to Senior Managers.
HR and Line Management
· This role reports into the Head of Operations as the line manager, but involves some matrix management from the CEO who will provide guidance and support in specific areas.

Location: Home based in the South West - Gloucestershire / Wiltshire / Dorset / Somerset / Cornwall / Devon / Bristol
Our passionate Regional Casework Coordinators are SSAFA’s front line of support for members of the armed forces community in need. They are the first point of contact for all beneficiaries into the Regional Office, assessing needs and allocating the case to one of our volunteer caseworkers.
You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlying needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary. You will have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensure that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service. You will have the opportunity to shape processes and procedures within the office which will lead to improvements in the service offered to clients.
To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA.
Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the South West region in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire or Somerset. There will be occasional travel around the South West Region, and you will be required to travel for quarterly face to face team meetings.
About the team
The team work remotely and pride themselves in maintaining a close working bond which ensures the smooth operation of the office. You will work closely with volunteers from the eight SSAFA branches in the South West, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The successful candidate will work as part of a larger team of 10, which includes two Regional Casework Managers and a Regional Operations Manager.
About you
To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR and experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.
It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families and if you have experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector landscape across the South West would be valuable
