About the role
We seek an experienced Business Development Manager to drive our UK growth and expand our client and partner base. Reporting directly to the CEO, (initially) you will lead our sales strategy targeting UK businesses, with a particular focus on small and medium businesses, and public sector organisations.
With a proven track record in generating revenue through outbound marketing, online channels and relationship-building, as well as developing new revenue-generating business models, you will be hands-on in driving our B2B sales, securing over £150,000 annually through direct sales, grants, tenders, contracts and partnerships. You will also contribute to developing engaging communications to support The Human Edge's financial growth and brand development.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the sales growth strategy aligned with organisational goals

About you
You are a commercially minded, results-driven and action-oriented business development professional with 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in B2B sales and income generation within the leadership development, coaching, and mentoring and skill building/training sectors. Skilled in securing new business, developing growth strategies and building long-term client relationships, you leverage your established network of HR/talent leaders and Managing Directors in UK businesses, with a particular focus on small and medium businesses, and/or public sector to enable consistent revenue growth.

What You’ll Do
• Trusts & grants: Work with the Development & Communications Manager to write and submit compelling funding applications to trusts, foundations and grant-making bodies to secure new and repeat funding.
• Scout for, build and maintain relationships with existing and new funders, donors, and partners, ensuring ongoing engagement and support.
• Events: Plan, organise and manage fundraising events, including overseeing event logistics, participant engagement and post-event follow up.

Digital Marketing

About the team
This is an important role based in a busy Operations team which covers office management, information technology, finance and human resources. The team play a key role in supporting the organisation to achieve its mission of supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to succeed.

About this role
We are looking for a talented professional with a strong understanding of CRM and digital systems and a passion for maximising the value of data, who is looking to join an organisation where they can put their skills to use across all aspects of our operations. You will join at a key time to develop and embed our work in this area, providing critical support to all our teams as well as maintaining and developing our cross-organisation systems.
You will lead on the development, administration, and staff engagement with, and training on, our Salesforce CRM system. This will include data from, and working with, all departments of Impetus, including our donors and prospects, our collaboration with partner charities, and our communications with email audiences. You will also manage the relationship with our existing Salesforce partner agency, drawing on them for additional support resource and coordinating broader development projects. The successful candidate will have experience developing and drawing value from Salesforce, including both technical development and collaborating closely with teams to drive engagement and best practice.
You will be responsible for our other cross-organisational digital systems, including our office and file storage platforms, data warehouse, visualisation, and ETL tools, website analytics, and Digital Asset Management system, as well as providing support for our Finance and HR systems, including providing training to staff and answering any questions related to these systems. You will collaborate closely with our Communications team, for example around website and social media analytics and reviewing the progress of the social media strategy. · Manage and support the volunteer ShelterBox Response Team (SRT) members

1. Fundraising activity
Contribute to the development of the new fundraising strategy.

As Project Manager for the BSR registers you will ensure the continued success of BSR’s biologics and biosimilars registers and support BSR’s Registers and Research Committee. About the role:
As their Digital Media Producer, you will help boost their audience engagement through the production of video and animation, and design of static content for website, social media, email, and other communication channels. You will be hands on producing content for a range of channels using Adobe tools from Premier Pro to InDesign.
About you:
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a proactive and creative person who works well in a team but can work independently to produce a range of assets according to specific deliverables adhering to instructions and design guidelines. You will need to demonstrate previous experience of video editing and motion graphics, an eye for detail, and be able to work to deadlines. A good understanding of digital and social media storytelling would be beneficial. Candidates should also possess a keen interest in animal welfare and environmental concerns.

About this key role
As our Community Accommodation Adviser, you will complete an Initial Needs Assessment (INA) with each service user using a strength-based approached within agreed contractual timeframes, before assessing need and risk, alert to changes that could indicate change in risk or serious harm, including personal safety and safeguarding.
You will contribute to the design and delivery of an effective and solution-focused accommodation plan and advise and support service users to achieve successful outcomes utilising your specialist housing knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of accommodation and local service provision. You will also be expected to maintain and build new relationships with social and private housing providers and within the criminal justice sector, voluntary and statutory agencies. Monitoring progress and recording on digital systems is also a key duty.
What we are looking for:
• Relevant housing qualification or extensive experience
• Strong experience of working as a key part of a high-performing team
• Experience of using digital technology and of providing evidence for external audit purposes
• Knowledge of the main issues affecting homelessness and rehabilitation of offenders
• A sound understanding of how staff with lived experience can provide additional value
• Outstanding interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written
• A collaborative, flexible and professional approach to your work
