About You

The Central Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting the Central Operations Manager with administrative support for the Society, which includes finance administration, membership and grants administration and journal sales processing. There is also a requirement for the postholder to support with some facilities management and office support activities.
The postholder will contribute to and support the Central Operations Manager and the Chief Operations Officer in the delivery of all of the Trustee Board’s strategic objectives and particularly in relation to long-term sustainability by maximising cost savings and efficiencies.

Please note that the organisation operates a hybrid working policy, and there is a requirement for the post holder to be in the office 3 days a week.

About the role:

The Digital Officer is a key member of the Marketing and Digital team. We are a friendly, creative, and supportive team, responsible for raising awareness and growing the brand of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, as well as our website, email, social, direct mail, paid advertising and more. This is a particularly exciting time to join our growing team as we shape and improve the charity’s digital approach and prepare to launch a new large-scale capital fundraising appeal.

As Digital Officer you'll work closely with Marketing and digital colleagues, as well as fundraising teams across the organisation. You will be a key player in maintaining and improving the charity’s digital presence, focussing on website management and web content, keeping our supporters and audiences at the heart of everything you do.

It is also an exciting time to join our digital team, as this role will begin part way through a redevelopment of our website. The Digital Officer will play a vital part in supporting the wider digital team to QA and deploy the new site, and support the Digital teams efforts to embed new ways of working and processes for the new site and ongoing roadmap.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support day-to-day management and improvement of the website. Includes content updates to ensure information is correct and up-to-date, and editing pages as needed across the site, following digital best practice.

• Support with the blog content calendar and blog content creation. Writing, building, publishing and optimising digital content, then measuring performance using tools like GA4 and Hotjar.

• Embedding and promoting digital best practice. Ensuring new content developed follows digital, SEO and UX best practices and supporting colleagues within the charity to understand and deliver the best digital experience across key campaigns by providing advice, recommendations and feedback.

• Supporting the wider Digital Team in delivering a training programme across the organisation, which will embed our new content creation process and build digital skills across the organisation.

To be successful in your application you'll need:

• Professional experience using CMS (Content Management Systems) and knowledge of website management, on-page and technical SEO and digital best practice. Knowledge of UX is desirable but not essential.
• Experience using data tools, such as Google Analytics for reporting and identifying actionable insights.
• Excellent copywriting, editorial and proofreading skills.
• Experience in writing for the web or digital channels and creating content tailored to a variety of audiences.
• Ability to communicate, work collaboratively and build good working relationships.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work proactively and manage multiple projects concurrently.

The following are beneficial to your application but not essential:

• Experience of digital collaboration and project management tools like Trello, MS teams or JIRA.
• Experience in a similar role within a complex organisation, charity or health/science organisation.

We are looking for someone to join the Senior Leadership Team who will bring experience from their past successes and provide inspirational strategic leadership and direction to the fundraising and communications functions in support of our 5-year vision and charitable mission and objectives.

You will have a strong, successful track record of fundraising and/or other forms of income generating in the charity sector, including management, with proven experience in meeting financial and non-financial targets. You should be able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, corporate, major donors and other individuals. In addition, you should have a strong knowledge of marketing and communications principles and practice, digital marketing, and social media, and be confident in engaging audience sensitively with real-life stories to demonstrate impact and create a compelling case for support.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Marketing Manager to lead the marketing campaign for our BHF charity lottery, 'The Weekly Flutter'. 

Working with our media agency and third-party agency suppliers, this role will be responsible for the development, execution, and optimisation of mass scale, omni-channel marketing, and fundraising campaigns and marcomms within the overall BHF integrated media plan.

Key Responsibilities:

About You: 

As our ideal candidate, you'll bring extensive and demonstrable marketing experience in designing, developing, and managing integrated, multi-channel marketing plans that deliver successful commercial outcomes, particularly in new customer acquisition and fundraising/income growth. 

With excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of success in a fast-moving, effective marketing team, you'll have experience in paid media planning and optimisation across a full range of marketing channels. You will be adept at prioritising and managing multiple complex projects, with strong skills in data utilisation, manipulation, and analysis across various media. 

Highly numerate, with experience managing large budgets, you'll possess extensive marketing skills, a full understanding of different marketing approaches, and the ability to use marketing to secure support across a broad range of channels. Additionally understanding of the gambling and/or gaming market, including the regulatory framework and supporting processes to ensure compliance and legal adherence, would be advantageous. 

Working arrangements  

This is fixed term contract covering family leave until 31 May 2026.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London Office.

We are a new and inclusive organisation empowering East and Southeast Asian women and their families. ESEA women share a common culture and experience similar issues, eg. immigration, racism, trafficking, and other forms of gender-based violence and exploitation in the UK. We campaign to completely eradicate financial hardship and end violence among women and our dependents within the ESEA UK community. We provide a safe space, advocacy, health, housing, education, co-learning and other holistic support and services.

We are a non-hierarchical organisation with our trustees as key facilitators, working with our staff and volunteers to implement and deliver our projects. · Supporting the Conferences and Events Manager in the development and running of an extensive programme of network events and workshops, and the Society’s annual conference

· Promoting the Society and its events on social media platforms including LinkedIn, Bluesky, and X

· Scheduling meetings, organising papers, and some note/minute taking, as required

· Ensuring all actions are recorded and completed following Meetings of the Board of Trustees and standing committee and working group meetings.

· Developing an understanding of the Society’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems and managing related data.

· Ensuring the SRHE website is kept up to date, in liaison with other team members

· Providing quality customer service for members and external contacts

Qualifications, skills and experience

You will need to demonstrate that you possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:

· Demonstrable experience in a team support role or an administrative assistant role

· Excellent organisation and administration skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Good numeracy skills

· Excellent knowledge/application of office IT systems (Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)

· Familiarity with website maintenance and basic website management

· Managing, maintaining and manipulating databases

· Preferred education is to undergraduate level with an interest in higher education provision

Role Overview

The postholder will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that all creative outputs align with our brand identity and communication goals. Additionally, as the organisation undergoes a brand repositioning, the role involves collaborating with our brand agency to facilitate a seamless transition to the new brand identity. Beyond the transition, this role will champion the brand and lead by example in design execution, ensuring continued consistency and adherence to the refreshed brand identity across all creative outputs

About You

You’ll have proven experience as a Graphic Designer; working either in a similar role or in an in-house or agency setting.  Your excellent understanding of brand identity, typography, and visual storytelling will come into play whilst creating accessible and inclusive content, and using your skills in Adobe Creative Suite to design for social media, email marketing campaigns, web platforms, paid advertising and printed media. You’ll be someone with a  strong management skills, an ability to juggle multiple projects and work to tight deadlines. Experience working in charities, health organisations, or advocacy groups would be an advance, but not essential.

Our Location

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home,  although there will be times when you will need to be at face-to-face meetings with your team or our partner agencies, or be required attend a few team away-days each year. In In addition, the charity meets four times annually at its office in Hatfield (or a location in London) for its’ ‘All Staff Together’ days, at which attendance is mandatory.

Role Overview: 

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Marketing, the PR and Comms Manager will be the storyteller for all things Enable! 

They will execute a yearly PR plan for Enable’s charitable missions, as well as provide PR support for Enable’s varied service areas, including Events, Leisure, Putney School of Art and Design, Bereavement and many more. They will be responsible for Enable’s image externally as well as internally and responsible for holding the relationship with our key stakeholders. The role also involves supporting the preparation and writing of bids for new contracts to secure funding and expand our services. 

This is the perfect role for a confident, outgoing and motivated person – and has a love for crafting stories using different media platforms, supporting and strategising charitable missions and communicating Enable’s mission, values and achievements internally and externally. 

Main Duties/Responsibilities:  

PR 

• Develop and manage integrated PR campaigns around key company products and moments. 
• Write campaign plans, messaging, and create media-facing materials for Enable as a non-profit company, as long as individual service areas. 
• Create compelling storytelling content to showcase the impact of our work through various platforms (Linkedin, Instagram) 
• Build relationships with key media outlets and secure coverage. 
• Be a point of contact for key media enquiries. 
• Provide counsel to internal executives on PR challenges and opportunities. 

Campaign Strategy 

• Develop and execute a communications strategy to raise awareness of our Health and Wellbeing programs and Community Initiatives. 
• Analyse communication campaign performance and refine strategies as needed. 
• Support the development and writing of persuasive bids and funding proposals for new contracts and grants. 
• Collaborate with program leads to gather data, case studies, and evidence to strengthen funding applications. 

Communications – External and internal  

• Managing the relationship with key stakeholders (for example Wandsworth Council), including chairing meetings, regular feedback and reporting. 
• Lead on monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to key stakeholders and partners. Including Enable’s quarterly activity reports and yearly Impact Report. 
• Supporting junior members of staff and providing strategic PR and communication support. 
• Occasional weekend work at some of our events will be required.   

Skills and Experience:  

• 3 + years experience in a Public Relations, Communications or Marketing role 
• Strong PR campaign management skills to develop and execute integrated campaigns
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confidence to engage with and present to various internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent writing and storytelling abilities for crafting compelling narratives and media-facing materials
• Media relations expertise to build connections with journalists and secure coverage
• Strategic thinking to develop and refine communication campaigns that align with company goals

Are you a proactive and creative Marketeer with significant, demonstrable experience of drafting and delivering effective consumer marketing strategies for a visitor attraction or a high-profile organisation?

The Royal Hospital Chelsea, home of the iconic Chelsea Pensioners since 1692, is seeking a Marketing Manager to help raise public awareness and support for the organisation, including increasing footfall to our year-round site tours and events programme, to help meet its core objectives. 

The successful candidate will have a strategic mindset and proven experience of managing impactful multi-channel campaigns for a respected national institution, ideally in the cultural, charity, military or public sectors. You'll be responsible for marketing a wide range of projects including the recently opened Soane Stable Yard, which is open to the public 7 days a week, working with our partners to promote the Chelsea Heritage Quarter, and further afield with the launch of our Veterans' Outreach programme. 

We're looking for:

We are looking for a proactive and creative marketing professional with at least five years’ experience marketing key initiatives for a recognised public institution or national brand. You’ll be hands-on, and equally comfortable planning campaigns and creating content yourself, with an excellent editorial eye across our different channels and a strong understanding of what drives public engagement.

You must be:

• A proactive strategist and executor, who is experienced in marketing a wide range of projects including ideally events to the public.
• Skilled in creating compelling marketing content across our owned channels.
• Experience of delivering effective advertising campaigns including liaising with suppliers, designers, photographers etc.
• An experienced marketeer - and experience of working in a cultural, charity, military or public organisation would be particularly desirable.
