You will support the Head of Communications in managing the charity’s news flow and media relations, achieving accurate and favourable mentions across specialist, regional, national and international media.
You will be required to proactively seek opportunities to raise the Charity’s profile and publicise the work and messages of World Horse Welfare.

Job Purpose
As BSR’s Marketing and Communications Manager you will deliver impactful communications and data-driven marketing plans that support our mission and vision.
You’ll work with teams to build strategic marketing and communications plans and manage a tactical calendar of multi-channel activity. All of which will drive engagement with clinical guidance, the latest science and research, quality education programmes, professional events and conferences.
You’ll focus on promoting member benefits to boost recruitment and retention across the adult, paediatric and adolescent rheumatology community. Main responsibilities

Key responsibilities:
Income Generation
- Drive online income generation through effective use of digital fundraising platforms, social media, and supporter journeys.
- Optimise and manage digital giving platforms, such as Funraisin, to increase donations and supporter engagement.

About the role
The communications team directly contributes to the delivery of the Foundation’s objectives by ensuring effective communication of our work to influence the ongoing development and improved delivery of healthcare policy and practice in the UK. The remit of the communication team’s external affairs function includes public affairs, stakeholder relations, media relations, integrated communications, and corporate communications.
We currently have an opportunity for an External Affairs Officer to join the team on a 6-month fixed term basis. This role will contribute to the achievement of the Health Foundation’s overarching influencing and communications strategies by supporting the external affairs team in effectively delivering high-quality public affairs, stakeholder relations, media, and integrated communications activity.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in public affairs and stakeholder relations. About The Role

Overview
The Olive Tree Cancer Support Group (the Olive Tree), is a registered Charity, dedicated to the relief of the physical and/or emotional distress of persons with cancer and their partners, families, friends and carers, through the provision of services, operating from its support centres in Crawley and Horsham.

The role
With support from our Marketing and Communications Manager and wider team, you will play a vital role by creating, managing and optimising our digital communications, including the development, execution and measurement of email mailshots and campaigns, our social media channels, and our website.
You will be comfortable planning and devising email and social media content ideas, designing creative assets, writing sharp, engaging social media copy, and helping colleagues to grow their own social media presence.

Your experience
- Writing engaging and inspiring copy for various purposes and digital channels
- Managing and creating content for social media channels
- Proven track record in a digital communications role, with experience of delivering against targets
- Use of CRM systems and spreadsheets to record and monitor impact of communications to meet targets
- Development of effective mail delivery systems
- Management of high-volume data - keeping accurate records and information from different sources
- Working remotely or in a hybrid environment
- Supporting a team that manages different projects with competing priorities to achieve their communications goals
This is a hybrid role. You will be working from home with IT provided and join Team Together Days in a co-working space in London 2-3 individual days each month. These days are considered commuting days. You do not need to live in London to apply for this role, but you will need to consider what is a reasonable commuting distance for you to able to attend the team days in London.

About the Role

You’ll craft powerful stories, design impactful campaigns, and build connections with families, supporters, and partners.
Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will help shape our brand, ensuring that more children, families, and supporters discover the life-changing magic of Over The Wall Camp. You’ll play a key role in developing and delivering long-term marketing and communications strategies that raise awareness, drive engagement, and leading the charge in making our charity a household name.

Key Responsibilities
· Bring our story to life, develop and lead engaging marketing and communications strategies.
