CREST is looking for a dynamic and creative individual to work with existing, and new, members of our mental health projects to design and produce a programme of activities, workshops and training opportunities, across the borough. The aim of the programmes being delivered in different venues across the borough is to ensure access is in line with the Borough's "15 minute Neighbourhood" plan and is not a barrier to community engagement.Every effort will be sought to recruit faciitators, with a lived experience of mental illness, either personally or as a carer, and support them to deliver the programme. All the work will have a strong focus on helping to prevent members needing increased access to overstretched primary and secondary care services by adopting a strong person-centred approach.

Job Profile
The Corporate Partnerships Manager is vital to CAFOD in leading corporate philanthropy efforts and collaborating with stakeholders to identify funding priorities for the Major Gifts and Philanthropy (MGP) team, which targets a £2.5m income for 2025/26, including £805,000 from corporate donors.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Development and Implementation
- Drive corporate partnership plans to meet targets, focusing on existing and prospective donors capable of major gifts (£50,000+), including multi-year contributions.

The Role
The team are determined to increase the prominence of legacies both internally and externally in order to grow and protect this important income stream, which accounts for over half of donated income.

GPiMHS (General Practice Integrated Mental Health Service) is an emotional and wellbeing service that supports adults aged over 18 in primary care who are experiencing a range of mental health difficulties. Patients are offered extended consultation times, quick and easy access to practical advice and tailored support for their mental health needs from a multidisciplinary team.
Through sharing wisdom from their own experiences, you will inspire hope and belief that recovery is possible in others. As an integral and highly valued member of the team, you will provide formalised peer support and practical assistance to people using the service in order for them to regain control over their lives and their own unique recovery journey. In particular, you will support the smooth transition of people using the service to other Mental Health services, by helping them to complete recovery and crisis plans for example. Within a relationship of mutuality and information sharing, they will promote choice, self-determination and opportunities for the fulfilment of socially valued roles and connection to local communities.
The person who is successful in this role must also be willing to work towards co-facilitating a weekly peer support group. They must have good interpersonal and communication skills and keen to provide the highest quality experience for people using GPiMHS. As a support line Call Handler, you will be a key member of our dedicated team, providing emotional support and a safe environment for callers with a wide range of complex issues.

You will use the knowledge and skills you’ve developed through our training to explore issues relating to childhood abuse and it how it effects adulthood and signpost callers to relevant resources and services that can provide more in-depth support. Calls are caller-led, and you will be there to empower each caller to take back control in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow confidentiality and safeguarding policies
- Provide appropriate signposting to external services in accordance to callers identified needs.
- Ensuring that key record keeping is maintained to the required standard and contributing to service monitoring requirements
- You will have the emotional resilience to be able to support individuals who may be severely distressed, experienced trauma, and people who may be at risk of harm.
- The ability to think on your feet to support callers who may call during panic attacks or flashbacks
- Excellent communication skills, spoken and written.
- Providing email support to individuals.
- Being flexible in your approach to your work in line with changing and growing needs of the support service.
- To be Caller led and be able to keep your own personal boundaries whilst working in your own unique way.

Your Background
With extensive experience of senior management in children's residential care, you will:
• Draw on your operational and strategic experience of driving growth in Children’s Residential / Children Leaving Care / Children Looked After sectors, including experience of opening new residential homes.
