About the Role
As Data & Digital Operations Manager at Smart Works, you will play a pivotal role in managing the charity’s digital infrastructure and working as part of a team to ensure that the organisation is able to measure its impact, and that digital operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will oversee IT systems, digital platforms, and cybersecurity measures, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation, and playing a crucial role in Smart Works’ next steps in digitising our service.
The role requires someone who is confident using data and digital platforms, who can apply them with a hands-on approach. The ideal candidate will balance day-to-day digital infrastructure administration with the management of relationships with external IT providers, and digital tools such as databases and online referral forms. You will also take ownership of Smart Works' internal staff platform, implementing upgrades and training staff where necessary.
You will take a leading role in managing the digital infrastructure associated with the client service, including overseeing contracts with external providers, and making amendments to Dynamics CRM. You will be responsible for actioning local centre queries and change requests to maintain consistent, high-quality digital operations.
In addition, you will work closely with the Head of Data & Impact on ad hoc data and analysis requests across functions, helping to inform strategic decision-making across all Smart Works centres, as well as to ensure the organisation remains fully compliant with GDPR regulations, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining robust data protection practices.

About the role:

Thames Chase Community Forest was established in 1990 and covers an area of 98 square miles on the edge of east London and south-west Essex. Thames Chase Trust welcomes around 65,000 visitors per year to the Forest Centre complex. The architecturally acclaimed Visitor Centre is the information hub for the entire Community Forest and includes a cafe, shop, and public toilets. The complex also includes a 17th century barn, original stable block, refurbished Education Room, and farm cottages.

Sebby's Corner is based in Barnet, EN5 and our aim is to ensure that no child goes without the basic essentials they need to thrive. We supply items such as clothing, nappies, formula and baby equipment to local families living in poverty. Families in need get referred to us by social workers, health visitors, family support workers, midwives and other professionals from our 800-strong referral partner network.
We also offer school uniform support in the summer and a Birthday Club that ensures children have the chance to celebrate with gifts, balloons and a cake. Key Tasks and Accountabilities
Service Delivery
- Guiding families during their New Parent Baby Essentials Experience appointment, helping them choose the items they need for their baby. Ensure clients feel supported and empowered when choosing items.
- Coordinate logistics, appointments, stock, and setup for our two seasonal services within a set timeline and budget - Christmas Support and School Uniform Support.
- Manage booking system across our services
- Ensure families and referral partners have a welcoming and respectful experience at the hub.
- Support complex referrals and work alongside the Referrals Coordinator to meet urgent or sensitive needs.

What we can offer
Salary and pension

The British Museum is seeking a Management Accountant to join the Finance department and provide a first-class management accounting service across the Museum. - Ensuring compliance with public sector and charitable sector regulations and guidelines.
- Analysis of Museum-wide income and expenditure streams to monitor and improve efficiency and profitability.
- Providing and reviewing financial information for business cases and funding applications.
About you:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, with an ACA accountancy qualification.
- Good technical knowledge of relevant Accounting Standards and regulatory framework, income tax, NI and VAT.
- Audit experience, including some post qualification experience.
- Ability to identify, handle and deal with complex problems across a wide range of disciplines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to resolve problems swiftly and effectively and make appropriate decisions.
