About the role 

We are looking for a proactive individual to join our team. You will support impact measurement and evaluation across a suite of over 20 Young Enterprise programmes and services, plus fundraising, marketing, volunteering and alumni activity. You will be involved in collating learning from across Young Enterprise, including leading on data collection through our existing systems, analysis and disseminating findings through various means including our internal evidence hub, external reports, senior leadership updates and internal project reports.

This is a fast-moving role which will require you to have a flexible approach. You will be able to work independently on impact and evaluation tasks (with guidance from the Head of Impact and Insights) while working closely with colleagues from a range of teams and functions across the charity. The ability to manage your workload across multiple projects is a key part of this role, as well as thinking broadly and creatively about improving and embedding good impact practice at Young Enterprise as an integral part of our upcoming Transforming Futures strategy (2024-2030).

The Finance Systems Implementation Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure the new system meets the charity's financial and operational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Business Central, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Project Leadership: Manage the planning, resource requirements, scheduling, risk management and budget control for the project, using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with finance, IT, and other departments to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives, liaising with colleagues across teams to ensure that all work is prioritised, maximising the available cross-functional resource in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Contractor Engagement: Manage the tender for an implementation partner and work with the implementation partner throughout the process to ensure a joined-up implementation
• System Configuration: Oversee the configuration and customization of Business Central to meet the charity's specific needs.
• Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and provide ongoing support during and after the implementation.
• Data Migration: Manage the migration of data from legacy systems to Business Central, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of the system to identify and resolve any issues before go-live.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and user manuals.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements post-implementation.

Salary advertised is for 35 hours per week - role offered 21 hours per week - Actual salary £34,884 - £38,556)  

Must haves:

• Proven experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Great to haves:

• Experience in the charity sector is desirable but not essential.
• Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.

Set in a leafy heritage building, and ‘T&T2’, our second venue in Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, we offer something for everyone. With a history of 137 years of supporting people of all ages in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey, we bring people together for mutual support, fun and friendship, with a wide range of services and activities for older people and other adults, along with volunteering and children and families’ projects. Since resuming services post-Covid, we have realized the needs and wants of the community have shifted from our previous offer. We have a strong Community Development programme to connect with and rebuild our offer, including some big changes to pre-Covid ways of working. The role

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Strategic development and oversight of community programmes for children, adults and across multiple generations

• Leadership and line management of team; oversight of sessional facilitators and contractors used by team

• Setting programme budget and service targets; monitoring and evaluation to ensure delivery against these

• Playing a key part in building, broadening and developing new funding for these programmes and maintaining relationships with current funders

ROTA are seeking an experienced Service Development Manager, to join its team. Help us end systemic racism in Britain!

This role spearheads the development and execution of a strategic plan to dismantle systemic racism within the housing systems, ultimately leading to greater housing equity for Black and Global Majority (BGM) communities.

The position will encompass a multifaceted approach, focusing on Policy & Advocacy, Community Collaboration & Empowerment, and Service Delivery Innovation.

The aim of ROTA’s housing project, funded by the Oak Foundation, is to examine the racial inequities that continue to plague the housing sector. Using a community-based peer research approach, we will put the lived experiences of Black and Global Majority communities who have been affected by insecure housing at the heart of this research, amplifying their voices through dedicated campaigning and advocacy.

We ultimately hope that the findings from this research can be used to formulate meaningful policy and influence practice to help end discriminatory practices in the housing sector.

About the role:

We have a new opportunity for a highly organised individual to join our Housing Services Team, as a Housing Services & Income Administrator. With proven skills and experience of using IT and databases related to administrative tasks such as producing letters and reports with a clear focus on organisation skills, you will play an essential role with supporting the Housing Services team and Manager, and our supported accommodation teams.

In your role, you will be responsible for

• Maximising rental income and minimising loss through bad debts through efficient application SHP Procedures.
• Supporting the housing services team, and accommodation services teams to ensure that clients receive timely rent statement and letters.
• Maintaining effective management of accurate rent income records.
• Collating performance returns against KPI’s and provider monitoring returns.

The role will also require supporting the Senior Housing Services and Income Officers in dealing with repairs and building related matters, anti-social behaviour, complaints and neighbourhood disputes.

We are currently operating a blended working arrangement, that includes working from our Head Office in Kings Cross for a minimum of 3 days per week, as well as flexible occasional travel to our accommodation services across London. There is also some potential for home working, in agreement with the Head of Property Services.

The weekly working hours are 37.5 hrs, to be completed between 9am-5pm Mon- Fri, with occasional need to work outside of these times in the event of an emergency.

About you:

To be successful, you will have good proven experience of:

• Organisation skills, working within a team and supporting the role of other within the team as well as excellent communication skills including both verbal and written communication.
• Proven skills and experience of using IT and databases related to administrative tasks such as producing letters and reports with a clear focus on organisation skills.

3. Developing and maintaining an annual calendar of community fundraising activities.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity are hiring for a Fundraising Compliance Manager to join our team. We rely on public generosity to continue our vital work, and face-to-face fundraising is a crucial part of this. We are seeking a diligent and experienced Fundraising Compliance Manager to ensure our face-to-face fundraising activities remain ethical, legal, and aligned with industry best practices. We are committed to ensuring we have the highest compliance standards for our fundraisers and have created this additional role in our team.  

Key Responsibilities

• Managing fundraising compliance across telephone and face to face fundraising activities.  
• Supporting on wider compliance measure across the Charity. 
• Conducting regular audits and risk assessments of fundraising teams and agencies, providing guidance and training to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. 
• Developing and delivering of audit trails of third-party agency activity, including site bookings and fundraiser recruitment. 
• Tracking and reporting on complaints and collaborating with the Senior Supporter Relations Care Manager.  
• Producing regular reports to share with the Fundraising Leadership Team and Trustees outlining Compliance actions and areas for improvement. This role is focused on compliance, but you will also get involved in training activities.  

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Significant experience working within fundraising compliance. 
• Substantial knowledge of the Fundraising Code of Practice. 
• Understanding of gambling commission legislation in relation to charity lotteries. 
• Experience writing compliance reports. 
• Understanding of GDPR regulations. 
• Experience delivering training. 
• Exceptional relationship building skills. 
• Strong communication skills.

Forcesline is SSAFA's frontline telephone service handling both day-to-day and more complex enquiries from the Armed Forces community.

This role is responsible for the management and development of the Forcesline service and will also act as point of contact for the Veterans Gateway.  The Manager will lead and support a team of advisors, developing the service in response to the needs of the clients and technological requirements, as well as ensuring a high quality of service. The role involves the preparation of data, briefings, presentations and some media work.

About the role

This role requires the management of a small team of advisors who provide free confidential listening, information and signposting service for serving personnel, their families, veterans and professionals who are looking for help. It requires a resilient individual who is able to both support the team and develop the service as it moves forward with advances in technology enabling wider means of communicating with those it is helping.  It is an exciting time to join as these changes are currently occurring and you will be involved with this transition.

About the team

You will work with a great team of advisors who are both experienced and skilled. All Forcesline Welfare Advisors are trained in Safeguarding and each practitioner has at least a Level 2 Counselling qualification. Their experience covers former Samaritans, Pastrol Care, Social Work and Police Despatch Calling. As a team they learn and support one another. You as their Manager will be fully involved with this and will ensure SSAFA delivers on its mission as a trusted source of support to the Armed Forces Community as their times of need.

About you

You will have had experience in delivering welfare support to others, and ideally this has been gained through a helpline. While the team is small, some management experience would be desirable. You will also need to be technically competent as most of this work will be done virtually through digital means.

Job title: Senior Data and Innovation Manager

Location: Hybrid work with 40% from Breaking Barriers’ offices in London, Manchester or Birmingham

Salary: £43,500-£47,500 (London) or £42,000-£45,500 (Manchester and Birmingham)

Hours: full-time (37.5 hours per week), part-time considered (minimum 30 hours per week)

Overall purpose

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations initially, the role holder will have technical leadership and overall responsibility for managing the Data and Innovation team. This team helps Breaking Barriers maximise the value of its data, by conducting analysis and managing the CRM (Salesforce) and related software.

The team works across all areas of the organisation to improve processes, unlock efficiencies through automation and generate insights from data. They ensure that data is utilised to inform any innovations or refinements to our services.

The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial manager with a high level of data literacy. We are looking for someone strategic, highly organised and a strong people and team manager. They will be confident at communicating data in a variety of ways to a large range of audiences, identifying key take-aways and the broader implications of the findings on our clients and programming. They will also be able to train others in key data analysis and communication skills.
