We are looking for a Community Key Worker

Salary:   £26,000 - £32,000

Location:            Hammersmith

Contract: Fixed Term Contract – until 31st March 2026

In your role as a Community Keyworker, you will be working with women involved in the Criminal Justice System; those on Probation in the Community and those women being released from Prison as part of their Post Sentence Supervision; providing some in-reach and ‘Through the Gate’ support. You will be working in a team of Community Keyworkers in your region. Each Keyworker will provide holistic one to one community support to women with a variety of needs.

About You:

To be successful as the Community Key Worker you will need the below experience and skills.

You will need to hold a UK driving licence with access to car that can be used for work purposes. A creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are confident professional relationship builder with have good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. Strong Administration skills and understanding of compliant behaviours also, experience of supporting. With good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions within the North London.

‘I AM Brent’ consortium

Step Up Hub leads a consortium, known as I AM Brent, that consists of six well-respected local charities who are working together to address the root causes and effects of violence affecting young people in the London Borough of Brent.

Programme Description

The programme is part of the Mayor of London’s flagship violence reduction programme, known as MyEnds. It is a place-based violence reduction initiative that adopts a public health approach. The consortium is providing an array of positive opportunities for young people and support for families, including through tailored interventions. The programme also aims to improve statutory and voluntary organisation networks and access to referral, and to ensure the voices of young people and community members are built into provision. The work is focused on the Church Road Estate, Stonebridge Estate, St Raphael’s Estate, Chalkhill Estate and Harlesden Town Centre areas.

The Role of the Community Engagement Lead

The Community Engagement Lead will be a key member of the team delivering the I AM Brent MyEnds programme. They will develop and maintain strong relationships with the breadth of young and older community members, and local businesses to conduct community engagement. They will subscribe to the values of co-production and work positively in accordance with I AM Brent’s Equal Opportunities, Safeguarding, Data Protection and Health and Safety policies.

In addition, the Community Engagement Lead will:

· act as the primary contact for requests from the community for information about I AM Brent’s services and events,

· disseminate to the community information about I AM Brent’s services, community fund, and events,

· organise, and support the delivery of, community engagement events, youth forums and community forums,

· encourage community participation,

· provide status reports regarding upcoming community outreach, engagement, events, and initiatives to consortium                members and community members, and provide end of community activity reports to the Programme Manager,

· summarise views of community members about their needs and ideas to improve safety,

· signpost community members to support following outreach activities,

· process referrals to the I AM Brent programme,

· support the organisation and administration of talks at community centres, places of worship, and community events,            on supporting young people’s safety,

· support the organisation and administration of parenting programmes,

· represent I AM Brent and Step Up Hub at meetings, forums, roundtable discussions and related events,

· help recruit and line manage community volunteers.

The Community Engagement Lead will be supported by the I AM Brent MyEnds Programme Manager, Step Up Hub senior leadership team and consortium members, and will work closely with I AM Brent’s Network and Communications Lead.

This is an exciting opportunity to join The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) in our Governance team working on our Global activities and supporting our work in the Devolved Nations. 

The Governance team are seeking a brilliantly organised and enthusiastic self-starter to make a significant contribution to the College’s involvement in global activities. Alongside a focus on supporting planning activities, the Global and Devolved Nations Coordinator will help coordinate staff and doctors attending national and global events, liaise with our overseas partners and arrange member gatherings. A high level of cooperation and teamwork between staff members is necessary to fulfil this role’s functions effectively and efficiently.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, able to work collaboratively with external customers across time zones, colleagues and senior members.

They will also have first rate administrative and organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise a varied workload. It is important that as a Global and Devolved Nations Coordinator, the successful candidate has a commitment to providing a professional, positive and responsive service, as well as an understanding of cultural differences.

A willingness to travel both in the UK and overseas is a requirement of the job, although this will be planned in advance and likely to be three or four times a year.

• Lead the organisation and coordination of RCR’s global events activities
• Organise and commission briefings and/or speeches for the RCR President and Vice Presidents

About this job

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Safeguarding professional, with a strong interest in protecting adults at risk and children from harm, within the wider Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Community?

Based within our Helpline Services team, you’ll have responsibility for:

• Responding to concerns reported by staff and volunteers
• Leading the coordination of responding to safeguarding concerns
• Dealing with safeguarding issues (as they arise) and liaising with statutory services as needed
• Giving advice and support to colleagues and our volunteers in relation to safeguarding and disclosure checking
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the society
• Liaising with external safeguarding agencies
• Embedding organisational safeguarding policies, procedures and practices across the society

You’ll have experience of working in a safeguarding customer-facing environment within the Charity or Public Service sectors. You’ll have proficient administrative and IT skills with the ability to work accurately, consistently and independently. You’ll ideally have had experience in supporting vulnerable people in person, over the phone and or online.

An understanding of safeguarding within the Charity and Public Service sectors is essential.

A satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check without barring list check will need to be obtained to undertake this role.

ISEAL is offering an exciting opportunity to work in a sustainability focused setting for a proactive and process-oriented individual with a passion for good customer service and stakeholder relationships.  The role provides administrative, logistics, and communications support as part of the team dealing with all aspects of membership and offers valuable exposure to a wide range of sustainability schemes. If you are looking to apply your existing coordination and administration skills to work in a customer facing role, this role will provide you with some excellent insights and networks that will benefit your progress.

ISEAL supports sustainability standards and similar market-based sustainability systems to improve their impacts on people and planet. Its membership team is the key point of contact for aspiring new Community Members, subscribers and existing member organisations. The coordinator will be in contact with a diverse range of organisations working in sustainability, assisting in pitching and providing specialist services, as well as helping prospective Community Members to navigate the member application process. Additionally, the role will coordinate activities relating to members fulfilling the requirements of membership and will ensure accurate record keeping for services and member related processes.  

To be considered for this role, you will be highly organised with great attention to detail and a committed approach to serving customers or stakeholders. You will enjoy working on a varied and changing set of tasks related to different areas of membership provision. Having gained a good level of work experience, you are familiar with process administration, customer service, stakeholder engagement and communications. You have an interest in learning more about member compliance processes and service provision. This role reports to two associate managers in the team, covering the different aspect of the role.

Key Responsibilities we will entrust you with:

Services and member prospecting

• Act as the first point of contact and respond to enquiries about ISEAL, services and membership
• Schedule and co-lead prospect calls, pitching relevant services from our portfolio, taking notes and supporting follow up actions
• Help member prospects understand the value of ISEAL membership and our services, and coordinate outreach to prospective members ahead of Community Member application windows
• Use and continually improve record-keeping systems, tracking customer relationships on Salesforce and support member/customer prospecting processes
• Coordinate the ISEAL Insight subscription, including proactively recruiting new customers and supporting existing relationships, tracking payments, and coordinating the delivery of the Insight programme of content
• Support delivery of ISEAL’s training courses, including coordinating promotions, registrations and event logistics
• Deliver administrative tasks to support ISEAL’s tailored services processes, including preparing service agreements on contract management system and managing payments

Membership applications and compliance programme

• Coordinate application process for aspiring Community Members, providing guidance throughout their application journey, addressing questions, supporting submission of materials, and managing completeness checks and comment periods.
• Liaise between prospects and compliance team to respond to questions regarding application process and requirements and maintain application log in Salesforce.
• Create and coordinate member compliance activities, including piloting process and external independent evaluation schedules
• With supervisor support, develop and maintain effective relationships with members, prospect members and evaluators in relation to the compliance programme and application process.
• Deliver administrative tasks to support the compliance programme and application process, including but not limited to scheduling calls, sourcing and maintaining evaluator records of competence and conflict of interest
• Maintain and track data across various platforms, updating tracking logs, and update web content on the ISEAL website.
• Coordinate information and produce reports and minutes in support of programme management, Membership Committee and strategic development of the compliance programme
• Contribute to systematic measurement and improvement of the compliance programme

General

• Assist in promoting best practice in use of IT, communications and knowledge management systems within projects, and support efforts to help bring about improvements
• Provide ad hoc support to organisation-wide initiatives, if needs arise
• Be a collaborative and effective team member, liaising with colleagues at all levels across organisation
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors

Experience, Knowledge and Attribute

• Experience working or interning in a support/administrative role, ideally in an international NGO, professional or membership organisation
• Some experience in a role focused on customer service/communications or user experience and genuine interest in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong organisational skills, with some experience with supporting administration, meeting coordination, logistics, contracts, proof-reading, communications, etc.

We are seeking a Training & Engagement Manager to work across our portfolio of programmes, particularly focusing on Education in the North East of England and our Parental Engagement Programme. You will be creative, adaptable and proactive, with the ability to work remotely, autonomously and as part of a small team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the education sector and awareness of parental engagement, including looked after children services, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to supporting families and young people. 

Main Role & Responsibilities

As our Training & Engagement Manager, Parents & Education, you will be an active member of our programmes team and will work across our portfolio of programmes, with particular focus on the education and parental engagement programmes.

You will have responsibility for stakeholder engagement, developing relationships and promoting Ygam training in the North-East of England (Education) and nationally (Parents). You will recruit suitable delegates to workshops, working closely with a range of stakeholders from schools, youth organisations, children’s services to parents and carers.

As Charity Director, you’ll be working in a multi-cultural environment supporting vulnerable people with limited English across Kingston, Hounslow and Richmond. Power2 is a fast growing and energetic children and young people’s charity that has supported 25,000 young people since 2001.  We are based in the North West of England and London and deliver early-intervention asset-based programmes to children and young people who have mental wellbeing challenges and are disengaged from school and more widely. We are well-known for our accredited Teens and Toddlers programme.

We support young people to get the most out of their education by helping them to improve their mental health and wellbeing and develop their skills. We inspire young people who are at significant risk of school exclusion to re-engage and fulfil their potential at school, at work and in life.

Our work is growing, particularly in the North West of England, and we are looking for new Programme Leads to deliver our programmes so that all children and young people, regardless of their needs, feel they belong and can prosper.

Our new Programme Leads will work as part of a team in secondary schools to support young people, their families, and school staff to ensure that at-risk pupils make the most of their education and improve their life chances. Work will include 1:1 support and delivery of Power2’s core programmes, including Teens and Toddlers and Power2 Progress. The successful candidates could be based in one school or travel between multiple schools.
