Main duties & Responsibilities
Securing New Corporate Partnership Business
·To support in the creation of a new corporate fundraising strategy and subsequently implement this
·Develop resources, pitch decks and communications to attract new partnerships

The RSPB, Europe’s leading nature conservation NGO, is seeking a Director of Supporter Fundraising to lead the charity’s work in recruiting and stewarding the next generation of individual supporters to help address the nature and climate emergency.
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is a charity for the conservation of birds and nature, bringing people together who love birds and other wildlife, and who want to take action to restore the health and diversity of the natural world. The charity now manages and protects 160,000 hectares of land across the four countries of the UK.
Public support has been at the centre of RSPB’s work since its foundation as a campaigning organisation in 1889. Step Up Hub leads a consortium, known as I AM Brent, that consists of six well-respected local charities who are working together to address the root causes and effects of violence affecting young people in the London Borough of Brent.
Programme Description
The programme is part of the Mayor of London’s flagship violence reduction programme, known as MyEnds. It is a place-based violence reduction initiative that adopts a public health approach. The consortium is providing an array of positive opportunities for young people and support for families, including through tailored interventions. The programme also aims to improve statutory and voluntary organisation networks and access to referral, and to ensure the voices of young people and community members are built into provision. The work is focused on the Church Road Estate, Stonebridge Estate, St Raphael’s Estate, Chalkhill Estate and Harlesden Town Centre areas.
The Role of the Network and Communications Lead
The Network and Communications Lead will be a key member of the team delivering the I AM Brent MyEnds programme. They will lead on liaison with voluntary sector providers and statutory service providers, including Brent Council, the police and schools, and on strengthening networks between them to help young people stay safe. They will be responsible for implementing I AM Brent’s communication strategy. ROLDA (Romanian League in Defence of Animals) is a small animal welfare charity working to improve the lives of dogs, cats, and other animals in Romania and internationally. Since its establishment in 2006, ROLDA has become a beacon of hope for the millions of vulnerable stray animals in Romania – one of Europe's economically poorest nations. Our mission is to manage the homeless animal population, estimated to be millions, through six key focuses: rescue, rehabilitation, sheltering, sterilisation, and education. Within our shelters, inspired by British kennel design and maintained to meet EU animal welfare standards, we can house up to 700 stray dogs at a time. Here, they receive complete veterinary care, rehabilitation, and preparation for rehoming. Since 2006, we have helped over 48,000 animals (primarily dogs and cats) and built two shelters for dogs and one for disabled and senior cats. We also distribute support, primarily through small grants, to six other charities in Romania and over 40 shelters in Ukraine. We rehome mainly in Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK. In addition to our efforts in rescuing and rehoming animals, ROLDA tackles the root cause of Romania's homeless animals through comprehensive neutering programmes and educational initiatives. Since 2006, we have successfully neutered nearly 20,000 cats and dogs, significantly impacting Romania's severe overpopulation of animals.

We are seeking a dynamic, creative and experienced corporate partnerships new business expert to join our team.
This pivotal new role will be responsible for securing high-value, seven-figure (financial and non-financial) partnerships with corporate entities that protect and empower refugees globally.
The successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of strategic partnership prospecting, manage relationships with key corporate prospects, and line manage a Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer.

About The Role
Our team currently consists of 10 dedicated staff members and is led by our CEO. The Communications Manager will be the focal point for internal and external communications, ensuring that BAUS is professionally and consistently represented as a dynamic membership organisation both internally by members and externally when dealing with partners, suppliers, sponsors and allied organisations.
This is a new post and, as such, the Communications Manager should expect to take a hands-on, adaptable approach to developing this exciting role within the wider BAUS team.
