Key Responsibilities:
· Work with the Director of Fundraising and Supporter Engagement oversee the roadmap and implementation of our Fundraising and Engagement three-year strategy
· Establish tools and processes to support the Directorate to deliver on our goals and hold ourselves accountable to the strategy ambition
· Support Heads and wider teams to monitor and report on KPIs for the successful deployment of the new strategy, monitoring impact and recommend any adjustments
· Lead F&E senior leaders in regular reviews of the strategy implementation, and adjusting plans and priorities accordingly
· Monitor trends across the sector and recommend new strategic opportunities to grow engagement and income
· Identify and lead key change projects needed to support our income and engagement growth, in collaboration with senior leaders across the organisation
· Champion innovation across the charity and help Plan International UK understand what it means, and how it is applied, to our work
· Develop plans to build a culture of innovation across the charity
· Identify practical ways to encourage innovative thinking across the charity
· Monitor the sector and beyond for innovation that could benefit the charity
· Identify opportunities coming out from the global hub and other National Organisations that could benefit Plan International UK
· Champion the importance of using insights to develop products and messaging that have our audiences at the centre

Person Specification:
· An experienced senior leader with a significant track record of providing effective leadership to drive strategy and change, foster ambition, set direction and inspire others, with a collaborative approach to working cross-organisationally and embedding effective ways of working
· Extensive experience of designing and managing business transformation programmes
· Highly effective and influential communicator and relationship builder with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships and influencing senior stakeholders

The Purpose of the Role
The Executive Director, IRC UK is responsible for delivering all of IRC’s targets in the UK, particularly with respect to fundraising, advocacy and communications but also UK finance, operations, and people and culture. The Executive Director leads the UK Senior Management Team.
An important objective for the Executive Director IRC UK will be maintaining the UK as a net contributing office within the IRC and to broaden, deepen and make more sustainable the IRC’s access to funding in the UK. This must be through a compelling and relevant external engagement strategy that harnesses the best of our programming globally.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, IRC Europe and the UK Board of Trustees, the role provides organisational and staff leadership and accountability to IRC UK in a shared management structure. The Executive Director, IRC UK works closely with members of the IRC Senior Leadership Team for Europe to form and implement the departmental organisational agenda.
Given this matrix management structure, it will be critical to the continued success of IRC UK that the Executive Director, IRC UK build a highly effective team by influencing and collaborating with senior leaders across Europe and the global organisation.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Leadership Motivate and build a highly effective and collaborative UK senior team to deliver performance against targets in private and statutory fundraising, advocacy and communications.
• Support the board in delivering its objective to ensure governance and oversight in line with UK statutory obligations e.g. charities Commission and Companies house requirements
• Ensure that the UK Board is aware of and engaging effectively with IRC UK strategic priorities, and lead all ongoing Board engagement,
• Embed a high-performing, “can do” culture across IRC UK which brings together contributions from all functions.
• Provide effective and collaborative matrix management along with colleagues in regional functions in Europe (i.e. communications, policy and advocacy, HR, Finance and Operations) and IRC’s global award management and technical units.
• Leadership of an office of around 250 staff, including staff in UK focused positions and also UK based international staff
• Communicate corporate values both internally and externally and lead by example in organisational ethics and morals.

Stakeholder Engagement and Public Representation
• Develop a stakeholder engagement plan across our various internal and external stakeholder groups.

• Effectively represent IRC as a member Trustee and engage with the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC)

• Act as a compelling spokesperson to share IRC’s positions in British media and publicly advocate for IRC policy priorities
• Effectively engage with all media and opinion-forming organisations to protect and enhance the reputation and visibility of IRC UK.

Planning, Delivery and Performance
• Take overall accountability for achieving agreed performance measures in all areas of the IRC UK’s activities e.g. Resettlement Asylum and Integration (RAI) programme, particularly fundraising, communications and advocacy in the UK.
• Define and monitor the effectiveness of IRC UK’s operating model to ensure quality, service and cost-effective management of resources.
• Define and track key performance indicators with the UK Senior Management Team to ensure and report on delivery of objectives.
• Contribute to the IRC 2020-25 strategic planning process by coordinating the input from the UK as required by the SVP Europe and the Global Strategy Unit.
• Review management and financial reporting and statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives, and revise plans in accordance with current conditions.
Governance
• Represent IRC UK at the Europe Senior Management Team meetings.
• Lead the IRC UK Senior Management Team.
• A member of the Global Senior Leaders’ Group led by the IRC President.
• Report to the IRC UK Board of Trustees and prepare three annual Board meetings.
• Create sustainable and effective internal structures between global functional departments and the UK office.

Essential Experience:

KCLSU is looking for a Student Voice Coordinator work within the Student Voice team to coordinate the development and delivery of representation practices, and embed these processes across KCLSU’s Community Engagement Department and our student voice partnership work with King’s College London. This will be focused on Student Futures, a large-scale transformation portfolio King’s College London is undertaking.
Student Futures aims to improve student experiences in key areas across the next three years. Main Responsibilities:
· Colleague support and triage of O365 and SharePoint issues.

· To undertake such other tasks as may be allocated from time to time within your capabilities by the HoCS and CEO.

About this role
We are pleased to advertise for a Head of Death Penalty Projects- US to oversee our work against the death penalty in the United States of America.
Reprieve has worked against the death penalty since our founding. In recent years we have built a particular specialism in issues relating to lethal injection, the most popular execution method in the US. Lethal injection has been touted as more humane than other methods – a modern, clean, clinical way to execute. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Lethal injection executions go wrong more often than any other execution method, often resulting in prolonged and torturous executions, commonly known as “botched” executions. Through our work we aim to dispel the myth of the humane execution, working with allies across medicine, business and other sectors to end the misuse of medicines and medical technology in executions.
The existing portfolio of work includes litigation, investigation and analysis, corporate engagement, a wide range of public and private advocacy, and developing and maintaining world-leading expertise on execution methods, particularly the jurisprudence and science relevant to lethal injection.
Contract, location and salary
The role is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £59,226 per annum less any required deductions for tax and national insurance.Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work a minimum of 40% from the London office and the rest of the week from home. There is the opportunity for international travel in the role.

The Role
What will I be doing?
- Provide key support to the Governance, Audit & Risk Manager on the IOP’s governance programme, including the organisation of Council Meetings and Core Governance Committee meetings, and the distribution of agendas and papers on the IOP’s Board Portal
- Be a key point of contact for the IOP’s Trustees and Committee Members, providing support and maintaining trustee information
- Support with the IOP’s annual Council Elections and AGM
- Support with the smooth running of the Group Internal Audit Programme
- Support the Compliance & Data Protection Manager with managing compliance with key policies and procedures.
Projects you work on may include:
- Quarterly Council and Committee Meetings, including one Council meeting held elsewhere in the UK
- Preparation or the IOP’s Annual Council Elections Process, whereby new trustees are elected by the IOP membership each year
- Helping with the IOP’s Annual General Meeting, including the preparation of the member notice and voting materials and ensuring the event runs smoothly on the day
- Five Internal Audits per year, determined by the Group Audit & Risk Committee
