The role
The role holder will lead on content creation and production across Business Disability Forum. The role holder will take a strategic approach and collaborate closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure that BDF creates cutting edge content that engages, informs and educates our Members and Partners
The requirement
- Experience of setting content strategy and road mapping.
- Experience of consulting stakeholders and using insights to create written content to meet their needs
- Experience of delivering small high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- Experience of creating videos, other accessible digital content and services
- Ability to create persuasive strategic plans.

About you

Purpose of the role
The Corporate Partnerships Manager will play a vital role in developing Adoption UK’s new corporate income strategy. The right candidate will have a proven track record of developing new partnerships and stewarding accounts to maximum potential. Going above and beyond to ensure that our corporate partners feel valued and connected to our cause, you'll use your creativity and networking skills to identify future growth opportunities that match the mission and priorities of Adoption UK.
The successful post-holder will manage the entire partnership life-cycle from contract and grant acceptance to delivery, ensuring that KPIs are met, income is accurately recorded, and that all activities comply with the Fundraising Regulator guidelines, GDPR, VAT and other legal requirements.
Must haves:
·A proven track record in securing income from the corporate sector.
·Solid account management experience ideally a corporate partnerships environment.
·Ability to think creatively and problem solve autonomously and the awareness and understanding to successfully collaborate with colleagues.
·Excellent communication skills - both written and oral - you'll need to have the social skills and presence to communicate to a variety of audiences, including at Senior Leadership level.

Main duties & Responsibilities
Securing New Corporate Partnership Business
·To support in the creation of a new corporate fundraising strategy and subsequently implement this
·Develop resources, pitch decks and communications to attract new partnerships
·Identify, research and approach a pipeline of potential corporate partners, including those with existing links to employees, volunteers, trustees and members.
·Confidently pitch and write proposals to potential corporate partners, tailoring style and approach according to their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) priorities
·Research and attend networking events and activities to support new income opportunities
Corporate Partnership Account Management
·Account-manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships, e.g. charity of the year, company sponsorship, staff fundraising, etc, ensuring mutually agreed partnership journeys are clearly planned and well executed
·Provide excellent stewardship of all current relationships including marketing and fundraising initiatives throughout the year
·Work closely with the Marketing lead to create innovative marketing plans for corporate partners to demonstrate Return on Investment
·Produce reports and presentations including activities and reach to convey the impact of partnerships
Working with the wider team to deliver income targets

Finance Manager | £300 - 350 per day | 6 months + | Fully Remote / Home Based
For the UKs largest not-for-profit social enterprise in the employment and social mobility sector, we are recruiting an Interim Finance Manager for 6 months +. This role will provide high quality financial information and analysis to stakeholders, supporting decision-making. This is a highly commercial role and will ensure service quality is maximised, and financial performance targets are achieved. The Finance Manager will manage a Management Accountant and will suit someone happy to work fully remotely whilst developing excellent relationships across a large, multi-location organisation.
Main Duties:
- Partner with stakeholders ensuring robust business plans and financial targets are achieved
- Work with Senior Finance Managers to identify risks and opportunities impacting the delivery of business plan performance
- Partner with stakeholders to present and interpret financial and non-financial analysis, assisting in decision-making
- Support the business in planning and implementing cost and performance improvements
- Review, assess and report on performance to budget and forecast and provide monthly key variances in budget, actual and forecast and key KPI variances for consolidation
- Support and lead annual divisional budget setting process and the production of annual forecasts
- Support year-end closedown processes, supporting the annual report and accounts
- Work with external commissioners and funders in providing reporting and financial returns
- Drive continuous improvements to processes, automation and financial controls
- Line manage and develop the Management Accountant
Person Specification:
- CCAB Qualified with substantial experience of working in financial management across a complex organisation
- Experience producing management accounts, budgets and forecasts
- Experience supporting annual accounting cycle and longer-term financial planning requirements
- Experience of financial planning, costing, and option / investment appraisals
- Experience of planning, reporting, and supporting budget holders
- Ability to work proactively in a fully remote / home working environment
- Experience supervising or managing staff
- Excellent Excel and ideally Agresso BW experience

Are you passionate about volunteers and looking for your next role? Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity is recruiting for a Senior Executive – Volunteering and Operations to play a pivotal role in transforming the Charity Hub at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Whilst you’re employed by the Charity, you will work onsite at Great Ormond Street Hospital for a minimum of 3 days per week. The rest of the time will be spent working from home.
In this role you will have the opportunity to build on our existing volunteer programme and have a significant impact on the Charity Hub.

The salary for this position is £35,051 and is a 6 month fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Executive – Volunteering and Operations, you will take on a varied role at the Charity Hub, including:
- Transforming the Charity Hub at the hospital into a vibrant and welcoming space.
- Overseeing the recruitment, onboarding, training and daily management of Volunteers and Charity staff.
- Ensuring that the Hub serves as a dynamic space, offering essential information for all and providing engaging activities for patients and families, so they can learn more about GOSH Charity.
This is the ideal role for someone who wants a role with impact and to make their mark on the Charity Hub.
Some of the key goals this role is working towards include:
- Expanding the Hub’s opening hours.
- Integrating the Hub into the hospital environment.
- Developing a comprehensive activity calendar.
- Building relationships with key hospital stakeholders.

We are seeking a friendly, approachable individual with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in volunteer management.
