It is a very exciting time to join the MS Society as Director of Income Generation a brand-new role in the organisation. We are implementing an ambitious cross-organisational transformation programme. And we have just started a new 2025-29 strategy. Income Generation is central to both.
We are transforming our approach to engagement to grow and deepen relationships with all our audiences. This creates an opportunity to integrate our approach to engagement and income generation. So we can increase our financial supporter base. Grow and diversify long-term sustainable income to deliver transformational impact for the MS Community. And contribute to our ultimate vision of a world free from MS.
We are looking for someone to provide strategic and thought leadership to income generation. Someone who can work collaboratively across the organisation to lead and drive forward our ambition for income generation.
You will act as the leading authority on matters relating to income generation, providing advice across the organisation including to the Executive Group and Trustees.
You will enable the delivery of related transformation programmes that increase and diversify income. And have strategic ownership of the income generation programme, including income-related activities and KPIs within the engagement calendar, and customer experience and journeys relating to financial supporters
You will lead on income generation functions planning and budget setting contributing to the overall business planning process for the Income and Engagement Directorate

The Western Forest Director will drive, direct and manage the delivery and strategic direction of this new national forest. The Western Forest Director will head up the core team in supporting and directing resource and expertise throughout the region. Some key duties include:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced social and digital media professional to join the leading international horse charity World Horse Welfare.
The Social and Digital Media Officer plans, creates and publishes the charity’s social media and digital communications, ensuring accurate content and the right brand look, feel and messaging. This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Royal Hospital Chelsea as Assistant Director of Audience Engagement on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. • Trusts & grants: Work with the Development & Communications Manager to write and submit compelling funding applications to trusts, foundations and grant-making bodies to secure new and repeat funding.
• Scout for, build and maintain relationships with existing and new funders, donors, and partners, ensuring ongoing engagement and support.
• Events: Plan, organise and manage fundraising events, including overseeing event logistics, participant engagement and post-event follow up.
• Work with the Development & Communications team to generate new, innovative fundraising concepts and bring them to fruition.
• Manage the database of funders and donors and ensure contact is up to date.
• Support with monitoring and evaluation, including reports to funders
• Work closely with the communications team to ensure coordinate donor and external communications, and to contribute to our social media presence
• Identify roles and responsibilities that could be delegated to volunteers to maximise their support, supervising those assigned to you.
• Represent the Sophie Hayes Foundation with colleagues at meetings and events with external stakeholders. This may include deputising for more senior colleagues on occasion.
• Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding across all activities.
• Other duties which may arise under the implementation of the new strategy, as directed by the Development & Communications Manager.
