About the Role:
As our Outreach Lead, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our reach and impact across the Thames Valley. You'll be the driving force behind our partnerships, ensuring a steady flow of referrals to help more women transform their lives through our services. Based at our Reading centre, you'll split your time between office work and travelling across the region to meet with partners and attend events.
This role offers a unique blend of relationship management, event planning, data analysis, and direct involvement in our service delivery. You'll be part of a dedicated team, working closely with our Centre Manager to achieve our ambitious goals. Whilst primarily focused on Berkshire, you may occasionally travel to London for training and collaboration with our London office.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage and nurture relationships with referral partners across Berkshire, including job centres, refuges, prisons, work programme providers, and other charities.
- Research and create project plans to engage new referral partners and maintain existing relationships.
- Organise and attend inspiring events to showcase our impact and increase referrals.
- Analyse data and manage our referral database to identify opportunities and track our success.
- Share regular, engaging communications with referral partners.
- Pilot innovative initiatives to boost engagement with our partners.
- Support the smooth running of our Reading centre, including answering calls and booking appointments.
- Participate in regular online meetings and annual conferences with the wider Smart Works team.

About The Access Project
The Access Project is an education charity; we believe that every young person can make the most of education, unlocking their potential and creating a fairer society.
We support over 1,800 young people aged 14 to 18 across 40 schools. Our mission is to support students from under-resourced backgrounds to access top universities, through a unique combination of tuition and in-school mentoring. We work with them to make good applications, get the grades and transition to university.
We employ 70 people who work in locations in London, the Midlands, Yorkshire and the North West. We will turn over approximately £3.7 million in this financial year and our funding comes from a range of sources including: schools, businesses, major donors and grant-making trusts.
The programme combats educational inequality and improves social mobility by raising students’ grades and supporting them to understand the pathway to a top university. Students who receive support from our programme are almost twice as likely to attend top universities as statistically similar students, according to UCAS.

We are looking for an ambitious, experienced Head of Corporate Partnerships with a track record of winning, retaining, and developing high value partnerships.

We have a fantastic volunteer tutor programme at the heart of The Access Project which provides engagement opportunities for employees of corporate partners. We have identified corporate funding as one of our largest growth areas. This role will take a lead in developing and driving forward our business partnerships strategy.

You will be an exceptional relationship builder and communicator, able to motivate companies to support our mission. What you’ll be responsible for
Leadership and management
- Working closely with the Fundraising and Communications Director to develop a corporate partnerships plan that focuses on the acquisition of corporate partnerships and excellent account management of existing partnerships, resulting in renewals and uplift in value.
- Leading, supporting and inspiring a team of two (Corporate Partnerships Manager and Fundraising Co-ordinator) to deliver the corporate partnerships strategy and individual giving strategy.
- Developing objectives and targets for the corporate partnerships team and ensuring accurate and timely reporting against these.
- Ensuring effective team use of Salesforce for relationship management, data management and providing information for financial reporting and audit purposes.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and adherence to latest legislation, especially Fundraising legislation relating to corporate fundraising and best practice guidelines issued by the Fundraising Regulator, and GDPR.
New business development
- Periodically refreshing our corporate offer with creative ideas, proposals and content to inspire decision makers.
- Winning new business for The Access Project at the 5 and 6 figure level with support from the Director of Fundraising and Communications and the CEO/Executive team and Board.
- Managing the preparation and submission of major corporate partnership bids and coordinating internal teams to contribute effectively.
- Leading research and development to identify new fundraising opportunities.
- Ensuring high quality and inspiring communications and materials are produced in accordance with brand guidelines.
Account management and stewardship
- Delivering successful partnerships in your portfolio through excellent account management to maximise fundraising and volunteering potential and retain partners.
- Ensuring corporate partnerships are celebrated through working with Communications colleagues.
- Working collaboratively with the wider Fundraising Team, Volunteer Team, Programmes Team and other functions to deliver a fantastic partner experience and ensure an integrated and joined up approach.
Skills, knowledge and attitudes we’re looking for
- An impressive track-record in corporate fundraising. We will also consider exceptional candidates who have excelled in another field of fundraising, partnership management or sales or with a corporate background.
- Ability to work strategically, bringing others along with you, as well as being a hands-on fundraiser as part of a small team.
- Demonstrable ability to lead a happy, passionate team, creating an environment in which people can do their best work.
- Excellent verbal communication, listening, writing, and presenting skills. Able to relate to people from all walks of life in both informal conversations and more formal presentations.
- A collegiate attitude, prioritising fantastic working relationships and cross-team working towards a common goal.

About the role:
This role is 12 months fixed term, home based, working 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Travel within England and Wales may be required.

Our aim is to increase commercial income at Solent Mind by at least 50% over the next three years. About you
You’ll be experienced in the analysis and benchmarking of the performance of commercial activity through a review of data such as sales levels, turnover, cost of sales, footfall, and walk patterns, amongst other data sources. As Development Officer, the main part of the role will involve assisting the new Business Manager with appraisal of development opportunities across ISHA’s core and key working boroughs to meet the organisations business development growth. This will comprise review of potential projects and communication with multiple agencies to include Landowners, Estate Agents, and developers as well as internal and external stakeholders like local authorities plus our regulator and funding body, the Greater London Authority. The role also requires working closely with the development team both Delivery and Sales to the agreed development programme to achieve handover and completion.
In addition to the above, there are other aspects of the role you will be required to undertake and involve reporting and monitoring of defects and latent defects across our projects to ensure these are resolved to a satisfactory conclusion and outcome, whilst ensuring excellent customer services are delivered in line with ISHA’s core values. Background:
National FASD is dedicated to supporting people with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), their families and communities. It promotes education for professionals and public awareness about the risks of alcohol consumption during pregnancy. National FASD is a source for information on FASD to the general public, press and to medical, social care and educational professionals.
Role purpose:
The organisation is going through a period of growth and needs a proactive, experienced financial/admin coordinator to help us ensure our financial oversight administration runs smoothly and efficiently as we grow the organisation. This person will work closely with our Chief Executive.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working with bookkeeper and accountants overseeing accounts, budgeting, financial reporting and management accounts

Person specification

FUNDRAISING

Save the Children UK has an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual who is dedicated to driving significant impact for children worldwide through innovative partnerships and strategic engagements.
We are seeking a dynamic, ambitious, and strategic leader to join our team as our Director of Partnerships and Philanthropy. This individual will be committed to achieving our programme, fundraising, special events, and policy goals and enhancing mass supporter engagement by building high-value philanthropic and corporate partnerships.
Please note that: while you will primarily work from home/remotely, this role requires travel to meet with partners and to attend events, alongside working in line with contractual agreements in the Farringdon, London office. Additionally, there may be travel outside the country for programme and partner visits.

About the role
As our Director of Partnerships and Philanthropy, you will provide strategic leadership to our Partnerships and Philanthropy Department and wider leadership to our Fundraising, and Marketing Division. You will set clear goals and objectives that align with our mission and vision, driving significant impact for children. You will lead and inspire a high-performing team, equipping them to operate in an agile environment and providing strategic direction to engage, acquire, steward, and retain corporate partners, philanthropists, and trusts & foundations and execute sector leading special events.
Your leadership will involve inspiring and elevating a team of high-value fundraisers through personal fundraising success, effective pipeline management, and technical leadership in sales behaviours and team coaching. By enhancing partner capabilities and directly delivering on Save the Children's programme, fundraising, special event, and policy goals.
You will also lead and inspire a high performing team responsible for delivering our high-value fundraising and stewardship events. These events are deigned to generate vital unrestricted income, engage donors, and stakeholders, and introducing new individuals to the organisation.
This is a very visible and strategic role within SCUK and in this role, you will:
• Collaborate with the Director of Programme Partnerships to develop and execute the overall Partnerships for Impact Strategy.
• Build a seamless, future-fit partnership management capability in collaboration with the Director of Programme Partnerships, unlocking innovation for transformational programmes through high impact partnering.
• Maximise the strategic value of partners through deep partner-centricity, leveraging strategic input from our Corporate Advisory Board, Vice Presidents, Women's Network, and co-creation efforts.
• Convene high impact multistakeholder opportunities to drive transformational change.
• Advocate for Save the Children's brand, creating and developing partnership opportunities with strategic brand alignment.
• Collaborate with the Director of Innovation to take a considered, bold approach to innovative finance.
• Lead the development of transformational products and propositions for high-value audiences, enhancing their awareness and consideration of our brand.
• Increase high-value audiences' financial contributions and their direct involvement in our programme, innovation, policy goals, and mass supporter engagement strategy.
• Be an active member of the Global Partnerships & Philanthropy Leadership Group and provide support to the Head of Save the Children's Africa Philanthropy Initiative.
• Lead a high-value operations team, managing pipeline performance, donation acceptance, programme visits, and infocomms across all high-value teams.
• Actively contribute as a member of the Senior Leadership Team in Fundraising and Marketing and Save the Children's Corporate Senior Leadership Team.
About you
To be successful, it is important that you have:
• Proven track record of securing and growing multi-million-pound relationships over multiple years in fundraising or commercial business development.
• Demonstrable commercial acumen with experience managing P&Ls of £30m+, within senior-level client management or sales environments.
• Extensive experience of working within a philanthropy setting, delivering a high value fundraising and stewardship events portfolio.
• Expertise in pipeline management for driving sales effectiveness.
• Understanding of transformational partnerships and engagement partnerships to drive brand awareness and action among mass audiences.
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to influence across organizational boundaries.
• Proven leadership skills with experience inspiring and improving sales team performance.

Ways of Working:
The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, but there are likely to be times when you will be required to come to your contracted office (up to 2-4 days per month or 6-8 days per quarter). This will be agreed with your Line Manager and team and is intended to be time spent on collaborating with colleagues and relationship building.
Please note: travel costs to your contracted office will be at your own expense.
