The Individual Giving and Grants Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing the vision and strategic goals of the Museum by overseeing and managing all aspects of the individual grants and giving programmes. This role is responsible for raising financial support through donations, legacies, trusts, foundations and businesses as well as grant funding and individual giving. The Individual Giving and Grants Manager ensures the effective administration of grants, from proposal development through to funding being secured, whilst fostering strong relationships with funders, existing and potential donors and stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who has demonstrable fundraising experience, ideally in the cultural sector, through new or reinvigorated fundraising programmes. The successful candidate will have an interest in the history of Brooklands Museum and knowledge of fundraising databases and donor management systems. You will be a confident self-starter who is proactive in their approach and has the credibility and ability to liaise with major donors and support trustees and volunteers, enhancing their fundraising activity and success.

Battersea's Global Programmes Department is looking for a Grants and Programmes Manager to manage the delivery of a portfolio of work within the Grants and Programmes function. Frontline Partnership supports people with a Learning Disability and High Support Needs (LD&HSN) to live full and productive lives through their active inclusion within the community. Our current project initiatives include a social community café, personal development through the horticulture and baking groups, creative art and music therapy, and various supported employment opportunities, as well as ad hoc social events. We work across a number of venues in the immediate Brentwood area.
As the Chief Operating Officer, you will oversee the day-to-day management of our initiatives, ensure operational excellence, and support the Trustees in identifying and developing new opportunities for the LD&HSN community. Reporting directly to the Trustees and managing a team of approximately 20 full and part-time employees, you will play a vital role in maintaining Frontline Partnership’s mission and values.
Day to day team operations
- Work with project leaders/teams to ensure that all initiatives are appropriately staffed and funded and are operating within appropriate safeguarding and safety management procedures.
- Be the responsible person for escalation/resolution of all matters relating to the delivery of Frontline services including employees, project venues, LD&HSN participants and other external contacts.
- Recruitment and induction of new staff members and volunteers and the delivery, maintenance and documentation of appropriate training for all employees.
Governance & Compliance
- Assist in the development and review, and ensure compliance with, all appropriate operational policies and procedures and required regulations such as Health & Safety, Environmental Health, GDPR and employment rights.

JOB PURPOSE
The Fundraising and Communications Executive will play a key role in implementing OTR’s fundraising and communications strategies. The role involves planning, creating, curating and managing high-quality digital content across our website, social media platforms and email marketing campaigns. Furthermore, you will support key areas of our fundraising strategy, including trust and grant applications, horizon scanning and ensuring excellent fundraising administration across all areas of activity.
This position is instrumental in supporting the Head of Fundraising in developing and strengthening OTR’s income streams and increasing awareness of OTR’s services through effective communications.
Specific role duties
Supporting the fundraising strategy
• Lead on OTR’s donor and community fundraiser stewardship through excellent communication and effective relationship management.
• Lead on the implementation of fundraising communications across channels.
• Responsible for small to medium size trust and grant applications, including horizon scanning
• Support the stewardship of small and medium-sized trusts and foundations including scoping, applications, reporting and funder management.
• Create engaging content and campaigns to drive income generation.
• Help build the small pool of regular donors.
Website and CRM maintenance
• Work with OTR’s Head of Fundraising, the Administration Manager and web developer to maintain, update and enhance the OTR website.
• Monitor website performance, user engagement and SEO trends, suggesting and
implementing improvements to enhance user experience and visibility.
• Lead on ensuring our CRM (Donorfy) is utilised effectively to record, monitor and report on fundraising activity and income.
Social media
• Working with the Head of Fundraising, CEO and Volunteer Coordinator and Business Support Officer, contribute to OTR’s social media presence by creating and scheduling engaging, accessible, and informative content that resonates with our audience and supports OTR’s mission.
• Monitor social media platforms to ensure timely and appropriate responses to comments and messages.
• Identify new opportunities to grow OTR’s social media reach, building awareness of our services, fundraising and outreach work.
• Regularly report on social media performance, using insights to inform future content and strategy.
• Utilise paid ads to support fundraising and training.
Email marketing
• Support the planning, creation, and delivery of OTR’s, soon to be launched, email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, fundraising initiatives and service information and signposting.

• Assist in the promotion of key OTR events, such as the Big Charity Bash and annual Great South Run and other special events.

• Track and analyse the performance of email campaigns, providing reports and insights to the Head of Fundraising.
Content creation
• Create engaging, accessible, and informative content for OTR’s digital channels, including the website, social media and email marketing.

• Contribute to blogs, news articles and case studies that highlight OTR’s work, impact and achievements in the sector.

About the Role
The Campaigns and Influencing Manager will develop and drive forward Agenda’s campaigns and influencing plans to improve systems and services for women and girls with unmet needs.
This role would support a collaborative, proactive and enthusiastic person, keen to work closely with our team, Alliance members, and women and girls with lived experience of the areas we work on, to share our messages and bring about positive social change.
This is an exciting and varied role, providing the right candidate with the opportunity to bring together campaigning, policy influencing, convening and co-production, as well as the chance to develop and manage others. The postholder will look across all our evidence and projects to consider and implement the most impactful routes to influence.
Key responsibility areas
- Developing and holding Agenda’s campaigns and influencing plans, aimed at improving systems and services for women and girls with unmet needs, drawing on a range of tactics and approaches.
- Overseeing the delivery of existing funded projects and influencing goals, including around young women and racial disproportionality in the justice system, girls at risk of school exclusion, mental health and racism in public services.
- Coordinating the team to draw together Agenda’s research, communications, policy and insights to develop key messages, and ways of using these to target and influence key audiences.
- Identifying key points of influence and leverage across a range of areas, nationally and locally - developing approaches and relationships with key actors which will have maximum impact for bringing about change.
