Purpose of Role:
We opened our Day Centre for older people, adults with disabilities and adults with dementia in October 2021. The Office Manager role is a new position that will provide a wide variety of operational support to the Day Centre Leadership Team as we are embedding and growing our Day Centre offering and increasing the number of clients who attend the Day Centre and the types of services they receive.
We also support older Wandsworth residents in the following groups with outreach in the community and with activities in the Day Centre: BAME; digitally isolated; financially isolated; LGBTQ; socially isolated; women; and those with, or at risk of, mental and/or physical ill health and disabilities.

About the team
Our Lived Experience Insight Team’s aim is to ensure that the views of those affected by the housing emergency shape and influence all of Shelter’s work. People with lived experience are involved in a range of different ways, through forums and events in local communities, sharing their story as part of campaigns, and speaking out about the issues that affect them. This helps ensure that our services and campaigns are developed alongside local communities and so that lived experience informs everything we do.
About the role
This is an exciting role within our Lived Experience Insight team where you will be involved in developing and co-ordinating an impactful involvement and coproduction programme that helps us to deliver meaningful opportunities for people with lived experiences. We’ll rely on you to influence and shape the work that Shelter does by influencing culture change across the organisation and improving our practices around Lived Experience Insight in line with our strategic aims. You’ll not only lead elements of our Strategic Plan, but you’ll also support our colleagues across teams to develop their practice through design, delivery of training, resources and project support.
You’ll be line managing a small team of our Lived Experience Coordinators to support them in delivering our programmes across their region that aligns to local strategic priorities. Ensuring that you and your team develop and deliver monitoring tools will help us to make continuous improvements to the work we do both on a local scale and across the nation. And as part of this role, we’ll count on you to provide wellbeing support to all those involved with Shelter, ensuring a high quality experience when working closely with participants and supporting their personal development.
About you
You’ll have an understanding of how lived experience of bad housing or homelessness can impact an individual, and the ability to support individuals in sharing their insights and experiences. What’s more, is your experience of people management means you are great at supporting your team to plan and coordinate multiple complex projects and activities across your region, with an ability to prioritise workload. You’ll have proven ability to facilitate training, workshops, webinars or coproduction activities with people with lived experience, while ensuring a safe and inclusive space where everybody can contribute. You’re adept at developing successful relationships not only with colleagues at Shelter, but also local organisations and partners too, with the ability to influence and collaborate.

Why do we need this role?
Anti Racist Cumbria exists to make Cumbria an anti-racist county. That’s our aim. If we’re serious about doing that we need everyone (or more people than not) to want that too, and to work with us to make that happen. And yes, that means we need the young people who live here to be a part of that too.
Your job isn’t to run the projects, although there might be some of that at the the start whilst you get things moving (there’s more about that below), your job is to manage them via actions like:

figuring out what the team to run them needs to look like

recruiting the young people to be part of them
You’re not a youth worker, you’re a manager of projects that are driven by youth workers and led by young people.
Main duties and responsibilities
Your job will be to build and coordinate projects that the young people want to do in creative ways, and to ensure that the projects meet our aim of becoming an anti-racist county. There is a current team of part time, self employed youth workers who do not work set hours or set days, so a big part of your job will be to work out what you need in terms of people and resources for projects, then work to deliver on that. The projects that you’re overseeing are with, and for, young people, so sessions will naturally take place during evenings, possibly at weekends, during school holidays and sometimes overnight (residentials) in a variety of settings. So you will need to be prepared for varied and often unsociable hours when projects are forming and during their life spans.
It’s also important to understand that although this is a project management role, initially as you start out, it will inevitably involve meeting and engaging with lots of young people. As projects begin to be created you’ll therefore need to be a key part of the delivery team and working directly with the young people. That means you will be delivering for a while as you get things off the ground, but longer term we envision you stepping back from direct delivery once things are up and running smoothly. So if working directly with young people is NOT your thing, even for a short period of time, this isn’t the role for you. Equally if working directly with young people and ONLY working directly with young people is your bag, again this job isn’t for you.
You will need:

the ability to manage a team of youth workers and build a foundation based on what good teamwork looks like. You will need to figure out who your team are, what skills they have or don’t have and what they will and can do: whilst assessing what else you might need in terms of support to develop your projects, including further recruitment of staff and volunteers

to spend a good amount of your time scoping, exploring and investigating to begin to find out what’s already out there, who is doing what, where and how, and to form new relationships across broad spectrums of Cumbria’s young people

to support a programme of projects, ensuring anti-racism is embedded throughout, but at the same time remembering that projects need to engage and meet young people where they are at - with an asset-based approach that puts them at the centre of the work, not a ‘this is what we’re doing’ one. Your

Person Specification
You will need to be extremely passionate about anti-racism; we are under no illusions that engaging in anti-racist practice exposes activists (and you will need to be an activist) to an increasingly profound awareness of white supremacy, structural racism and other intersecting structured systems of inequity (i.e. sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism). As such you’ll need to evidence and demonstrate your own anti-racist journey.
Passion about this work isn’t enough on its own; you need to believe in young people and what they bring to the party, and you need to be creative and high achieving (but not necessarily in a qualifications way). To be our Youth Project Manager you should be knowledgeable and have the following qualities, skills and experience:

WISH accommodation aims to keep residents safe and supported through an in-reach, wrap around & multi-agency support package. Women will be assisted to regain their independence, to re-join their communities and to develop the necessary skills to live in freedom from fear.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with Manchester Women’s aid to provide specialist support. You will lead a team of staff to provide excellent services and outcomes for women.
You will represent Nacro in this service area and work with the area manager to grow and develop the service.
Key Responsibilities.
- Lead, manage, develop, and motivate staff, including undertaking support and supervision and performance appraisals, to ensure their ability to perform roles and that they engage in their own personal development.
- Plan and direct the activities of the team to ensure the delivery of a high-quality support and housing management service, which meets the contractual and organisational objectives, targets, standards, and outcomes.
- Oversee accommodation offers and placements. Ensuring that people accepted meet the service criteria and are issued with the correct tenure.
- Ensure that initial and on-going assessments of service users take place and support plans are devised and implemented to achieve satisfactory outcomes.

About the Role
Reporting to the Director of People, a key focus of this role will be to provide hands-on management to an experienced People consisting of a People Support Manager and Talent Acquisition Coordinator.
However, it is much wider than team management; it is about relationships. Relationships with internal colleagues, relationships with Network contacts, and relationships with third party suppliers. About You

St Neots Foodbank was founded ten years ago by the town’s churches; and is part of the Trussell Trust network and is still managed by trustees from those churches. At St Neots Foodbank we have our own warehouse and run four distribution centres across St Neots each week; all currently staffed by over 70 volunteers.

As Operations Manager, you will oversee the operations at St Neots Foodbank, giving particular attention to operational efficiency and standards in line with the terms of the franchise, including the implementation of existing policies and standard operating processes. You will be instrumental in enabling our Foodbank to continue to support our community and support and guide its future development.
Our ideal candidate will have relevant experience and be able to demonstrate great leadership qualities to build strong teams based on trust and understanding. The Role

As a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist, you will be part of a small and integrated team providing support across a broad portfolio of work.
This involves collating and analysing data, creating and facilitating learning processes within FILE and with our funded partners, and ensuring evidence and insights are fed back into our strategies and those of our partners.
This team works closely with all functions across the wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform tasks related to the collection and analysis of data as well as learning from evidence regarding FILE’s activities. This position will primarily focus on supporting four key areas:
- Monitoring: enabling and supporting the collection of robust and consistent data from partners to support their progress towards impact
- Data management: partner data collation and verification from different data sources
- Donor and Board reporting: preparation and presentation of data and evidence for our donors and board to demonstrate our progress towards impact

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proactive Senior Resourcing & Retention Advisor to join our HR team. We are looking for an experienced in-house Recruitment professional to deliver an exceptional resourcing service to our internal stakeholders, hiring managers, candidates and staff utilising credible expertise and knowledge to guide and partner managers on the full recruitment cycle.
Using your specialist recruitment knowledge, you will utilise a range of effective candidate attraction methods for different roles at the RHN. Quick at building strong relationships, you will be a key point of contact to our stakeholders and recruiting managers, offering advice and expertise to support their recruitment campaigns. With a passion for customer service, you will communicate confidently and effectively with candidates, ensuring a positive recruitment onboarding and retention experience.
You will line manage a Recruitment Assistant and work closely with the HR Business Partner for Resourcing & Retention to engage the Recruitment Team to deliver objectives and operate a highly effective and efficient customer-focussed Recruitment service.
You will support the HR Business Partner for Resourcing & Retention with identifying and delivering on Resourcing & Retention projects that add value to the recruitment process and achieve our aims within the People Strategy.
To succeed in this role, it is essential that you have worked in a fast based resourcing role previously, preferably within a healthcare setting. You must have experience of a range of candidate attraction techniques and be able to think creatively to support hard to fill recruitment campaigns. You should have experience of ATS’ and recruitment systems, optimising them to full functionality and providing solutions to any issues.

Our Resourcing & Retention team is an integral part of our Workforce function, responsible for the full-cycle recruitment and retention process. The team provides a customer-focussed recruitment service using creative attraction methods to directly source applicants to the RHN and deliver a positive onboarding experience to candidates.
