The Role

As a Change Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring large-scale projects of strategic significance deliver the expected outcomes and benefits by focusing on the cultural and people side of change to mitigate impacts, increase employee engagement and drive adoption of solutions.

You will lead on developing change management strategy for assigned projects, which empower and prepare employees for changes to processes, systems, technology, policies and working practices

Working across the organisation you will deliver targeted engagement, specific to stakeholder needs, resulting in improved change capability and the successful delivery of strategically important outcomes.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Leading on developing change management strategy and plans for assigned projects of change, which supports organisational cultural change and the successful delivery of project outcomes.

Assessing the organisational or departmental change readiness and identifying and shaping appropriate interventions to improve preparedness, where needed.

Identifying and delivering critical change management activities to facilitate behavioural change that will lead to adoption of project outputs, increasing the likelihood of achieving the associated benefits.

Planning techniques and determining priorities to enable analysis and scheduling of change activities and requirements including the management of interdependencies.

Defining and measuring success metrics and monitoring change progress, including tracking, reporting and managing issues. Completing reporting tools and developing plans to remedy any delays in delivering the project outcomes and benefits.

Monitoring commitment of stakeholders and staff, ensuring the Project Manager and/or Sponsor are aware of any risks or issues relating to stakeholder engagement.

Influencing and motivating staff across the organisation, at all levels, including Executives and Senior Managers, in order to achieve successful change.

About You

You will have experience of:

Evidence of relevant continuing professional development.

Proven experience of working alongside senior managers in a change management role within complex, large-scale or cross-organisational change efforts.

Experience of creating and implementing new processes, resulting in an improvement.

Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.

Practical experience of mentoring and training others in the use of change management methodologies.

Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.

Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal, with the ability to adapt tone, format or content of communications to meet the needs of the audience.

Full valid driving licence.

Dandelion Time’s pioneering nature-based therapy seeks to rebuild the confidence and self-belief of children and families impacted by trauma, enabling them to take the necessary steps to move forward.  To support our expansion across Kent, we have an exciting opportunity to join our close knit and hugely supportive team as the Bid Manager.  We have just launched our five-year plan and need an experienced, confident and collaborative individual who will be able to hit the ground running.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and supported by an experienced part-time Bid Writer you will be lead on the development and implementation of the income generation strategy for bids, primarily from Trusts and Foundations. Your focus will be to identify a diverse range of high value opportunities to build a pipeline of sustainable income.

To excel in this role you will demonstrate significant experience of researching and writing detailed and compelling proposals for trusts.  You will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding income targets, securing one-off or multi-year grants of five-figure sums or above and multi-year funding.  

Your excellent communication skills will enable you to cultivate and manage relationships with key decision-makers, including the day-to-day management of both new and existing funders.

The Philanthropy Account Manager sits within the Philanthropy Team and will work with supporters who are giving at the five and six-figure level. Grants Manager-Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal

Contract status: Full time to December 2025, with the potential to extend

The Ukraine Humanitarian appeal raised £439 million and helped an estimated 6.9 million people in Ukraine and neighbouring countries. The Grants Manager is integral in working closely with DEC colleagues and members to build and sustain, a solid understanding of the evolving humanitarian context. The Grants Manager will maintain strong oversight of the DEC funded programme including the reporting cycle, adaptive programming and facilitate strong and relevant engagement with DEC member charities and local partners and external briefings over the duration of the response.

Key responsibilities:

Communication and Collaboration

• Key programmes point of contact regarding the DEC funded programme, responding to enquiries from member charity programmes and other related staff, facilitating timely and accurate communication.
• Maintain strong understanding of response context.
• Manage and provide timely, response briefings to internal and external audiences, key stakeholders including the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office [FCDO] and, other key stakeholders.

Analysis and Reporting

• Review, evaluate, and advise on member charity plans and reports for consistency, trends analysis and coherence of data across submitted documentation.
• Contribute to the review and analysis of plans and reports submitted by member charities in response to DEC appeals.
• Share timely and relevant information and analysis from plans and reports with DEC member charities and local partners. 
• Manage external reporting requirements including preparation of stakeholder reports and infographics.

Management and Leadership

• Coordinate the team’s surge capacity to deliver points above, which may involve managing and inducting a team of external consultants and training them in the use of our knowledge management system [Box].
• Coordinate with the Programme Quality, Accountability & Learning team to ensure monitoring, learning and accountability initiatives are timely and appropriate to the response.
• Support with real-time reviews, community perception studies and other related MEAL activities.

If you have recently worked in any of DEC’s 15 member charities, and have demonstratable humanitarian experience of Ukraine, with the competence to prepare timely/accurate reports and deliver credible presentations to diverse audiences, then you will be perfect to join an incredible team and organisation.

We cannot predict the need for a future appeal, but should one occur during the contract for this role, the successful applicant may be asked to stay on for an extended period.

Morgan Hunt is thrilled to be working with a large homelessness charity in Liverpool to recruit a Housing Advice and Assessment Hub Manager on a permanent basis.

Our client provides support to people who are either experiencing or at risk of homelessness and / or have support needs. Our client is looking for an exceptional manage to take over responsibility for the management and delivery of their Housing Advice and Assessment Hub, providing a range of services for people experiencing homelessness, including people rough sleeping.

As an organisation, they offer help with building confidence whilst developing independent living skills and supporting people to address substance misuse or other health and wellbeing issues.

The role

• To foster an environment where meaningful connections are made with service users which maximise engagement and take up of services on offer.
• To maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of relevant housing, welfare rights and benefits legislation and to act as a central resource providing expert advice and assistance which resolve or prevent homelessness or housing need.
• To have a working understanding of asylum and immigration legislation.
• To work with key partners to negotiate and inspire successful solutions and outcomes for service users; where appropriate, constructively challenging assessment decisions or exclusions.
• To co-ordinate and support staff to develop and deliver effective needs and risk assessments, initial crisis intervention and support.
• To work with other advice agencies to ensure a co-ordinated approach which maximizes the range of advice available to service users.
• To lead, direct and support a team of staff to deliver timely and effective solutions to homelessness.
• To ensure that staff training and development needs are identified and opportunities are provided for improving skills and understanding
• To ensure designated projects meet all contractual requirements, performance standards and target outcomes.
• To develop and maintain effective and efficient management information systems, providing comprehensive, meaningful and accurate management information analytics as required.
• To make effective use of metrics and management information to develop services which meet identified need
• To work within an agreed budget, ensuring all expenditure is appropriately recorded and reported.
• To build strong professional relationships and clear lines of communication with commissioners, colleagues and partner agencies.

The candidate

• A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a related homelessness, housing or welfare advice setting, planning, co-ordinating and delivering effective housing or welfare advice services to vulnerable people.
• Expert knowledge of housing, welfare rights and benefits legislation and experience of translating this into sound information and advice.
• Experience of negotiating successful outcomes with local authority agencies/other partner agencies
• Experience of managing a project which successfully meets all contractual/outcome targets

POPS is a Charity, set up in 1988 by families who were supporting a loved one through a custodial sentence. PURPOSE OF THE POST

The purpose of the post is to work closely with POPS’ Director, to ensure the quality and compliant delivery of POPS’ service located currently across Northwest, Yorkshire, Leicester and Bristol. You will drive forward POPS strategic and development plans to ensure the organisations’ future growth both locally and nationally.

The post will have significant responsibilities to ensure successful operational delivery and compliance of all POPS’ Services and commissioned projects and have a key role supporting the development of new business and engaging in newly identified commissioning opportunities.

The role requires strong leadership, resilience and creativity with the capacity to manage performance; develop and motivate staff teams; ensure contractual compliance; innovate and implement service delivery; develop and maintain productive strategic partnerships and to ensure quality and future growth of POPS’ services and the organisation.  

MAIN TASKS

STRATEGY

• Work closely with POPS’ Director to meet organisational objectives and aims within the strategic plan
• Develop national, regional and local partnership to enable POPS to fulfil its mission and strategic plan
• Oversee development of ideas and implementation of required interventions to ensure future organisational growth
• Provide comprehensive reports to ensure that POPS’ Director and Board of Trustees are provided oversight of governance; quality assurance; performance against set KPI’s; future planning, fundraising and new business development.

OPERATIONS

• Directly line manage POPS’ three Operations Managers
• Ensure high performance standards and production of quality outcomes, ensuring contractual KPI’s are met
• Work closely with Assistant Director for Core Business functions to ensure services are delivered within legislative and financial requirements
• Work with Operations managers to ensure contractual compliance: ensure that appropriate targets and monitored and achieved.
• Support the recruitment and development of staff 
• Work effectively with all colleagues to achieve agreed goals and respond to challenges in a timely and constructive way.
• Maintain good financial discipline, manage multiple funding streams; ensure organisational financial probity by implementing and developing appropriate financial controls and systems.
• Maintain and develop measurement and metrics to evaluate service delivery and demonstrate impact
• Produce Business Continuity and Risk Management plans and review on quarterly basis to Identify risks to services delivery, contractual compliance, staff competency, and develop solutions to mitigate against such risk.
• Attend and host internal and external meetings
• Produce reports to meet internal and external deadlines
• Ensure POPS’ Policies and procedures are implemented and fully complied with

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT 

• Directly line manage POPS’ Bid Manager
• Scan the landscape to maximise opportunities and support sustainable growth.
• Maintain positive and productive working relationships with current and future commissioner agencies.  
• Maintain and develop strong partnerships with a range of national, regional and local agencies and develop collaborative working practices
• Attend Market engagement and stakeholder events
• Support bid writing process to meet commissioning deadlines 
• Ensure the involvement of service user voice in all aspects of POPS service delivery and development.
• Develop a culture of imaginative thinking to generate and listen to ideas from all stakeholders.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Triangle Community Garden, as a Project Manager.

We want to hear from you if you have a passion for nature connection, horticulture and social enterprise, love working with people and have management skills and/or experience.

In this role you will be managing and developing all aspects of our greencare projects; supporting our staff and volunteers; and ensuring our services reach as many people as feasible.

Triangle Community Garden runs horticultural therapy sessions in our allotment sites and community garden in Hitchin, Hertfordshire working with people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health issues.

Ideally you’ll have some knowledge or experience of social therapeutic horticulture and working with people with additional needs. You’ll need to have experience of managing people and projects and it would be beneficial if you had experience of developing services and networks with other local organisations.​

This is a new role for NST, building on the work developed through our ‘Get Connect, Stay Well’ project currently funded through the ‘Getting Help in Neighbourhoods’ programme.

Main responsibilities and duties

To:

1. Coordinate and develop a wellbeing programme that supports the mental health and wellbeing of NST service users and the wider Braunstone community of LE3 1.

2. Support individual service user wellbeing by referring into activity delivered by NST and other local community partners.

3. Undertake regular wellbeing check-ins with service users to monitor progress and impact of engagement with wellbeing activity.

4. Update the company’s CRM system with participant information in line with GDPR and record progress and impact.

5. Develop, implement and maintain effective monitoring and recording systems: capturing and recording data to demonstrate the programme reach, providing reports and other information as required.

6. Support the Service Manager to maintain accurate budgets and financial records especially for monitoring funding grant returns.

7. Support the Service Manager in the development of funding bids to support delivery and expansion of the wellbeing programme.

8. Build and maintain partnerships which will support the development of wellbeing programmes.

9. Source, arrange and co-ordinate facilitators and practitioners suitable to deliver any planned activity.

10.  Ensure that adequate risk assessments are undertaken prior to any activities and that confidentiality and safeguarding protocols are followed.

11.  Support the Communications and Project Support Worker to promote the programme by developing copy and marketing material for circulation on the various company social media platforms and website.

12.  Support the supervision of activities, including the staff and volunteers where applicable.

13.  Represent and champion the services provided by NST as required at external events and meetings.

14.  Work in partnership with the Wellbeing Facilitator to ensure that the over 50s programme is developed and delivered in line with the overarching wellbeing programme.

15.  Work in partnership with the Training Support Worker to ensure the Men’s Group is delivered in line with the overarching wellbeing programme.

General Duties:

16.  Attend and participate in team meetings, training and events that ensure the effective sharing of information and co-ordination the team’s activities.

17.  Undertake administrative and maintenance duties that assist in the smooth running of the NS base. This will include taking collective responsibility in relation to matters of health and safety, equipment maintenance, data protection and confidentiality management; and visitor service and care.

18.  Ensure that all NST activities are undertaken in line with the legal requirements and b inspired policy, procedures and good practice. This includes the production of risk assessments and other data that can demonstrate effective and safe planning.

19.  Undertake consultations in-line with the Neighbourhood Action Plan and work alongside other members of the NST to gather, collate and analyse information that inform perceived local need/s.

20.  Work outside normal office hours and at weekends as and when required.
